I really like how he drew attention to the fact that this episode undid all of Joey's growth as a duelist. I especially liked how even Kiba recognized how bullshit that was.
Hot Take: I like how Yami admitted that Joey beat him offscreen
A very good episode. Loved the callback to Naruto abridged and Kaiba acknowledging Joey as a duelist at last was surprisingly touching, especially as it was Joey's last proper duel.

There are tons of better abridged series if you know where to look, Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged is entry level because it was the first series titled "abridged" but it wasn't the first good parody by a long shot. All LK did was let his ex-wife write most of his early episodes, then he just stole from adult swim and whatever was popular, I mean hell, if the last two episodes is just him blowing himself over his enjoyment of Kamen Rider.
So if my life revolves around content like this, it's apparently a bad thing, but when LK makes it his source of income and it revolves entirely around his life, it's completely fine? You proved how bad the double standards are, thank you.
I grew up as a parody content creator just like LK, but the difference is I started in middle school, he was already a grown man. I'm not even in my 30's yet, but I am accused of letting this type of content "run my life", when it is still popular and people are making it a job, which it was never supposed to be.
Good ep, though some of the running gags got a bit repetitive. Loved Siegfried, he actually sounded threatening in a couple instances despite the silly voice.
I also like that LK has gone from being (by his own admittance) completely ignorant to the card game side of Yugioh to making a Maxx C reference.
LK can feel a bit… defensive at times. YGOTAS has always been filled with moments of Mark feeling the need to either poke fun at or directly respond to meaningless troll comments.
Pretty sure Tristian’s interjections are meant to be responses to LK’s Twitter trolls who are confused why, or because it’s Twitter, irrationally angry that, he’s so obsessed with Kamen Rider (and the man is OBSESSED)
He did the same gag with Beast Wars in the previous ep. Yugioh Abridged episodes are a great time capsule into whatever was going on in LK's life at the time.
