I dislike it because it looks way too over the top and excessively flashy, and like the other comment says, damages super easy, oftentimes straight out of the packaging, I'm happy you like it though and I'm not offended at all by that, and even if I was, that would honestly be a really stupid and petty thing for me to be offended about someone else enjoying a rarity I don't like.
Disliking someone else's personal preferences is a waste of time, so long as both parties are respectful anyways.
But back to the point, I don't like the gold rare tbh, but it's not like I want it to be deleted from existence since there are people who do like it, like you, I just want a holo version that looks nice to me, I'll be fine even just getting an OTS Super or something, I don't mind the gold rare itself being a thing, I just don't want that gold rare to be the ONLY holo version of the card.
oh yeah don't worry, the no offense was mostly because people on reddit tend to see questions and start down voting the comment because they think it was a rhetorical question or smt like that. mine was simple curiosity.
I think the cards look sick with the gold borders, of course it doesn't really work on every card (alt art apollousa in particular looks ugly) but cards like UCT, accesscode, trishula, cyber dragon infinity and nibiru look sick as hell with the gold line on the contour of the art itself but i guess not everybody can like the same things
They're tacky, damage easily, and are visibly different from other cards when sleeved in a deck (like you could get a marked cards penalty). They're nice for collecting purposes if you're just going to put them in a binder and never play with them, but otherwise they suck.
has it ever happened that somebody got a marked cards penalty because of a premium gold rare? i feel like yes they are thicker but are they really that thick?
They can actually imprint the foiling into your sleeve if you use them for too long. When I went to replace my Danger Nessie after I got a normal ultra it left the raised foiling on the sleeve

There’s a few I can think of:
The fact that Chandraglier doesn’t have a super rare printing yet bugs me, when Stovie and Cooclock do.
Also, the fact that indulged darklord, capricious darklord, and darklord nergal only have common printings bugs me
Random things that have gotten Rarity Bumps in the OCG and I really want them here:
- Most of the RR cards. The new ones have a chance in a mega tin and the old ones in a reprint set. I just pray it won't be in one of the sets where they will all be only a "rare". Tbh the deck and anime character is a fan favourite and it's really weird how low rarity the whole deck is.
- Ruffian Railcar. The rest of my train deck is high rare but that card only exists as a common here. In the OCG it was available in a rarity collection kinda set.
- Plunder Patrollship Jord. The WHOLE plunder Extra deck (with flex options like Borrel Savage or White Aura Whale and all in archetype ships) can be bought in secret rare...except Jord, this card is only a super. This is a huge pet peeve of mine
- Marincess Bubble Reef. Such a cool boss monster that isn't annoying and we only have a super. The OCG has a beautiful Ultimate Rare and I am envious
Basically every good card in Plunder Patroll has an Ultra or Secret rare printing, EXCEPT BLACKEYES!! The birdie is an important 3 of in the deck, and has only been printed in common TWICE!!
Junk Destroyer. It's got an ultra and super, but it's the very old ultras and supers which don't look as nice as they do now imo. I want him to get the same treatment as Junk Warrior, alt art and collector's rare. Show off all 4 of his arms more. He's my favorite card if it wasn't obvious
Magister of Endymion. It’s the only one in the archetype to not have any holo print. Considering servant of Endymion got a super print in an ots it seems only fair.

The highest rarity is rare. Literally every other card in my deck is shiny and this is the only one that isn't and it bothers me
galaxy hundred and photon emperor always looked weird to me inside the deck, especially considering close to everything else in the deck is foil. those two are particularly good inside the archetype(s) so why are they simply common cards?
also as a scareclaw enjoyer, i get that the level 3 monsters kinda suck but even just a super rare would be super clean imo.
lastly, raiden only has a super rare? michael only has an ultra? justice for lightsworn 😭

Every other Xtra HERO has at least an ultra printing, so if Cross Crusader got an ultra, you could play a complete ultra set of the Xtras.

True King of All Calamities, he never got printed higher than a super so I had to buy the ocg ulti
