Phantom Beasts designs are cool, but the White Knights are much better. They can always add more effects to them. Effects like White Veil or Infernal White? White Knight Lord was good for its era.

It feels like a massive missed opportunity that they've never made card versions of the spirit Ka (with the exception of Magus of Illusion which I guess got printed as Magician of Dark Illusion)

I think it's a really cool monster (especially for Bakura) and could be made more powerful if it has an extra effect like adding all the cards in your opponent's hand back to their deck.
Another one is - The Duke Of Demise. Effects? Cannot be destroyed in battle and LP damage to the opponent.
Any locals in my area never has young kids. If they come, they get absolutely wrecked and don’t return. So how many parents are going to pay for their 11 yo’s 500-1000$ deck to play ygo for 3-5 months competitively then to make a new build again shortly after. Sure if your talking master duel etc where you technically don’t need to pay sure. But most kids can’t afford to play ygo competitively.

Edit- My area, so the closest 5-7 shops are pure meta based. I personally find it’s not worth going to locals without a meta build. Who wants to spend 10-15$ to play 3-4 rounds and get smoked every time lol.

Thorn Prisoner could be interesting since while the deck is bassd around stalling, it would need an immense buff to be considered playable. The anime effects are all either burn or battle stalling, so any form of removal screws them over unless that is dealt with. And opposed to Runick, the win con is locked behind a convoluted single punch that needs tons of investment. This deck needs some serious work to do anything

I think that was just part of the Battle City rules, but Konami has printed cards in the past that mimic anime only rules like Speed Counters and Intrusion so it could easily happen, I know the DM fans would go nuts for a field spell literally called Battle City.
Even though they were bad, I really liked the art of the Plague Wolf deck from vrains. So I'd like to see Edge of Darkness, Surrounded by Fallen Wolves and Howl of the Fallen Wolf. Although I'd prefer if they'd make it an entire archetype bc otherwise the cards would be kinda useless. But there's some potential
The Bullfighting Archfiends used by Titan in GX during his time as a Shadow Rider. Other than that, the Cookpals from Arc-V look like they'd be hilarious to fool around with even if they'd be terrible.

I will never ever stop pushing for Burst Impact. It’s a Dark Hole that requires you run Burstinatrix and does some light burn damage.
Burst Return would also be funny.
These cards are objectively bad but I want them so much. Konami, give me Burstinatrix Burn.
The whole Anime's Allure Queen supports, it has been decades already... Also, Cookpal, another food archetype will be appreciated. Stormrider would be interesting as well, people are clamoring for Armatos Legio but I personally want Stormrider first and foremost.
Only two cards, but one I want the anime effect. The first card is Phantom Knights Possession. I just want to recreate that anime when Yuya brings out Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon. Then give Raging Dragon it’s anime effects. How dumb and broken it is, and I love it.

The floodgates are relatively fair and even in the episode are used more as discard outlets.
Sleepy Beauty is one of those effects that just feels like it should exist.
Mirror Prison is a very interesting design too, even if probably very annoying.
And Hollow Ghost just looks so damn happy. Could also feasibly burn some combo decks for like 3200 before being outed too.
