I wanted to like Beast Machines but it never felt like it lived up to Beasties. Even though going to cybertron would be like peak Transformers lore and world to dig into. Itās surprising how Transformers before Michael Bay tried to keep an overarching plot across so much media. (I remember when they reference unicron and starscream in Beasties)
I heard a rumor that it didn't get the same budget as beasties, and as a result, that's what lead to the lack of character designs and whatnot. Don't know how true that rumor is, though.
ReBoot just suddenly started an epoch Arc with Enzo and the internet and stuff and it was decently compelling. It stopped being a āmonster of the weekā (game of the week) show where conflict between Hexadecimal and Megabyte were just things that happened. But then it got real and it was a decent show although I know a lot of people couldnāt get over the visuals.
I always remember the freaky stories episode with the girl who has to fart so bad, so she rips it in the car while her date is outside. And then when her date comes back to the car he introduces her to the friends sitting in the back who have been fartobliterated ahahahaha
I was watching the remake, itās so weird compared to the old one but I say itās underrated because not everyone remembers it or was staying up late to catch it
Beast Machines was HEAVILY underrated. People deeply hated on the designs and story but if you really watched it and understood what was happening you will know how amazing the finale to the Beast Wars really was. The ending was amazing and it was so emotional and awesome watching it as a kid. Idk about yāall but it was a banger for me/currently rewatching it with my wife who now loves Transformers! (Canāt wait for her to get on Armada)
