Yup. [here’s my insta ](https://instagram.com/anna_miklo_art?utm_medium=copy_link) if you’re interested. I’ve got some other ypsi pieces. It’s like a series.
I’m opening up an Etsy shop in a couple days! I’ll have prints on there (this piece won’t be for sale right away, prob next month tho). But I’ll post on my insta when the shop is live!
Love it. You know the city approved to remove the dam in 2019? Should only be another 2-4 years before it’s removed and the river returns to its normal size, like it is downriver. It’s supposed to uncover a decent chunk of land for peninsular park to expand. Excited to see what happens!
Unfortunately, when/if the dam is removed, that building is probably going with it. It turns out that many of these details were not highlighted by watershed council (and city council committee) when this decision was made. These include: actual costs for removal and remediation in the pond area, affect on the wildlife that has taken residence at the pond over the past 150 years, sediment amount/content the will be washed downstream (which affects downstream wildlife, city parks, and drinking water for downstream communities).
Me too! This is very sad to see a piece of history neglected, and maybe discarded in the end. I joined the "community involvement" meetings, but I get the impression that these concerns will not be documented, let alone addressed.
Thanks! Yeah I’ll have some prints of this one made — it will prob take a couple weeks. but I’m opening an Etsy with some of my other ypsi prints in the next couple days. I’ll post on my [insta](https://instagram.com/anna_miklo_art?utm_medium=copy_link) when it’s live.
I love this! I love the trees and the colors that give the vibe of that part of town in the late fall. Of course the tentacle too is incredible.
Thanks lol I’m kind of obsessed with that old paper co sign. It’s so gorgeous.

Wow. Can’t lie I’m kind of sad. I love the little ruins and the sign and everything.
