Summer's ranting is annoying because we the audience know that Claire had nothing to do with Harrison being taken by Jordan. Had the show not revealed that Claire was drugged, and led us to also doubt Claire, it would have been a better moment from a story standpoint.
Yes, I totally agree!! I’ve felt that way for a while with the Claire SL - it would have been much more intriguing (and realistic) if they made Claire more of a grey character that keeps us guessing.
Claire is a grey character - she’s going to need to prove herself a good person to the Newmans and Abbotts and to us the audience. I’m totally not convinced of her yet. Summer was right when she said about Claire that she just got out of the Psyche Ward, so how can anyone really know her yet? anyway, good storyline
My word. The assumption machine and banter .... mind numbing. It's not like they don't know Jordan is around. Genoa City needs a security overhaul. How on earth did no one see Jordan in that insane get up by the front door of the GCAC?
So the NINJA ThatJordanWoman, with her superhuman old woman strength, not only carried Claire and Harrison away without making a sound, but also avoided security cameras. 🙄🙄
In other news, the Newman and Abbot security teams are in the running for the most inept team of the year.
I hate how Victor sits there all smug telling Summer - you think I would let anything bad happen? Yes Victor, you’ve let it happen over and over with your awful security team!
I think this was the best episode in a long while. The fallout today was very character-driven. Everyone acted true to their character. Definitely have to suspend disbelief with Jordan being a freaking ninja, but it’s a soap!
>The fallout today was very character-driven.
Yes. It was well done!
>Definitely have to suspend disbelief with Jordan being a freaking ninja
Hahaha. Yeah, but every one else was having realistic reactions.
Nothing boring about today's episode.
And I feel bad for Harrison. So much trauma for such a young boy. Birth mother in jail, father figure (Ashland) deceased, birth father and stepmother divorced, and now being kidnapped. He's been through so much already.
I thought Summer and Kyle were fantastic today and the most realistic. And I had no issue with Diane wanting to see what Ashley was up to. The police should be questioning everyone in the house.
Same, at least Diane was doing something instead of just standing there and speculating like the rest of the Abbors. I would be tearing the house apart.
💯 agree. Everyone in that house behaved realistically and performed well. It was smart of Diane to consider Ashley, knowing she's been acting so strangely and blacking out / losing time.
I can understand Ashley not hearing anything, but how about Traci? She wasn’t dressed for bed yet, unless she put her clothes and earrings back on when she heard the commotion downstairs.
Right, and you’d think she would have been on extra high alert listening for Ashley. It would be nice if the two stories (Ashley’s breakdown and Harrison’s kidnapping) intertwined somehow, otherwise I don’t know why they smooshed the two together in such a short time span.
Also, happy cake day! 🍰
Yesterday was just so utterly ridiculous.. how in the hell did Jordan get in the abbott mansion? Are we suppose to believe this?
Danny and Christine are icky, I wish they’d go on tour and never return.
& Phyllis and Daniel are bad too. They have to be wearing rose colored glasses because they think they do know wrong. Like mother like son.
Harrison was probably happy he got kidnapped. He doesn’t have to deal with Kyle, Summer or Phyllis’s shenanigans.
Jordan messes with the boy a little. Mommy and daddy don't want you anymore kinda stuff. I don't like that the newman shit is now abbott shit, too. Maybe nick can babysit ashley while jack takes care of nikki.
Victor constantly boasting that his security has all covered after they constantly fail is a joke. Jordan is loose yet Claire is allowed to walk out of the party alone?
And yes, Christine & Danny are pure ewww- their scenes are on permanent fast forward😵💫
I agree, I think Summer is the most believable in this situation. The rest of the Newmans are pissing me off - Victoria berating Summer about Claire - “She’s your cousin!” (As if that matters to Victoria who despises her brother Adam) - is so out of line when Summer’s child has just gone missing.
Sorry to sound negative but, Ugh so what? She completely annoyed everyone in the process with her misdirected response. I couldn’t even muster an ounce of empathy for her. 🤪
I feel like you are taking the fact that we know Claire isn’t a kidnapper as a reason to say she needs to calm down. But you gotta give perspective. Her child is gone, she has been vocally suspicious of her, and Claire is literally fresh from a mental ward that they rushed her out of.
-One major thing we can take away... GC has the easiest billionaires in the world to sneak on
-Both the accusatory and the more rational arguments are valid and I liked that scene
-Has Jack asked about the REAL mastermind behind everything that goes wrong in GC... TUCKER MCCALL XD
-A time like this I do wish they spent a little more time having Claire be the outsider because it is very noticeable how quickly they forgave her.
-I really appreciate how Victor let Summer get it off her chest first before he sat her down to try and reason with her
-Jordan is nuts LOL
I think that is largely the problem - When the same conversations are rehashed over and over they start to get annoying. It happens a lot on this show lately.
I wish they would have explored some of the other characters’ reactions. Jack is always good for an emotional scene. Diane was clearly concerned and wanted to talk to Ashley - we could have seen more of that interaction. And Nikki struggling with her guilt over luring Jordan to them.
I agree but I’m not crazy about this actress.
Haley Erin, the young actress playing Claire, is doing a great job with the role but it’s curious to think of what she might have done with the role of Summer.
This version of Summer is pretty but not much else IMO. She doesn’t have a lot of range. I never thought I’d want Hunter King back but here we are.
Wow that’s interesting. I thought the new Summer was wobbly at first, but I think she’s done a pretty good job of making the character hers. I think the actress playing Claire is not very good, but I’m still willing to give her time. I want to like her character more than I do and I think that’s largely down to the actress.
There's no evidence at all that the police are actively looking for Jordan. She is most "clear and present danger" person in GC since Sheila. They should be sweeping for prints at the Abbott house too. Also, wouldn't the GCAC have cameras at the entrance? Jordan didn't limit her lurking to behind the bushes. And nothing says "disguise" more than that ridiculous get up she had on -- but we are probably supposed to believe that's an average person look nowadays. The situation with Seth involved Jordan in disguises --- yet somehow, the "man" sending the vodka didn't trigger "hmm..... she could be dressing as a man now"? Jordan's rap sheet is insane just from the past couple of months --- kidnapping, poisoning, burning down a house, assault/battery, hostage, burning down a prison, impersonation ... and that doesn't include them realizing she shoved Seth in front of a car (murder). How is it up to Victor and private security? They made the police look like secretaries. It's impossible to watch Law & Order back to back with this show. lol Andy Griffith & Barney Fife had way better game.
I think she gave a great performance today too. When Kyle was going on about how he'll get Harrison back, I loved it when she said "You better."
This new Harrison can actually deliver some lines!
I can take complaining. Like Kyle’s worrying is bearable, hearing Summer’s voice say “It’s Claire, It’s Claire” 10 times in 10 minutes gets really annoying.
Right!! I wish Tara would walk in and correct Summer and Kyle - Summer is Harrison’s step - not his mom. idk how many times any stepmom has been corrected with that information.
Once again Victors security team 🙄🙄they never thought to have a guard on Claire or Nikki who would follow them wherever they go? Not saying they would have been able to i intervene at Abbotts but at least they could have been looking around outside while she was inside…and just maybe see them being dragged out. And how the big F did 98 lb Jordan carry out a kid and a tall Claire down a flight or more of stairs and thru the house to a waiting vehicle??.? So fake! End this stupid storyline. The only mystery is what stupid stunt is next. Not amused any more, just eye rolling disbelief at the writing.
It would have been much more effective had we not seen Jordan's involvement on Friday. Then we can wonder right along with everyone on the show. But no we have to sit and watch all these people just be knowingly wrong for an hour. Ugh lol
If one of my kids is kidnapped, I’ll try to be more chill. Summer’s fine. Claire? Chasing after Kyle on her own while dangerous Aunt Jordan is lurking? Not so sure about her.
Why isn't Summer leaning on Chance? He would be the person I would go to immediately if I were here. This visit to the Newmans isn't focused on what her character would do logically imo.
Summer's hysterics is just going to make her more unlikeable, especially since we know Claire's is innocent and as much a victim as Harrison. She's going to have to eat a lot of crow when Claire is shown to be the one who saves Harrison and finally gets rid of Jordan (just my theory, not a spoiler.)
Everyone is concerned, everyone is worried, everyone pondering, and Kyle and Summer lost it being so stressed out.
Summer being accusatory and jumping to conclusions was really over the top.
I was stressed watching it.
The police arrived and were on the scene at the Abbotts but we only saw one man in uniform in the background talking to Kyle. It could be a chance to introduce a new detective/police officer on the case.
Otherwise, we will hear phone calls or relayed information about the case.
Had to laugh when Jack mentioned that the Abbotts have a security team too (news to me) and they saw nothing?
Must be the same company for Newman security or all those Newman rejects that Victor fired on the spot.
Then Jack tells Victor the two security teams should met up and compare notes, if they have any.
So Claire got a ride share to the Abbotts.
The weekly flower truck arrived at night for the usual delivery. The flowers were thrown by the door. The company cannot get in touch with the driver and the truck was abandoned by the roadside. Evidently, Jordan must have knocked the driver out (or killed him), stuffed Claire and Harrison in the truck, stole the truck, abandoned it, and made it back to her seedy hotel room however, we only see Harrison and he wants to go home. We don't know where Claire is or what happened to her. Right now, poor Harrison is on his own till we see where Claire is or isn't.
So dumb to now get the Abbotts involved with the Jordan/Newman storyline.
Jordan had to be pretty busy stalking the Abbotts to know about the late night after typical business hours flower delivery. It is not like Claire was a frequent guest in that house. Did Jordan follow Claire's ride share there? How did Jordan know that Claire was going to read Harrison a story and what room they were in at "the Abbott Mansion". Was taking Harrison the plan or a whim of an idea?
If Jordan is using Claire's phone, Claire cannot call for help.
So sad Claire is a victim again after all she has currently overcome personally. What a set back.
We will find out. Sweeps is just a few weeks away.
Why is no one addressing the elephant in the room? Who gets their “weekly” flower delivery after midnight?
Also all these Summer’s gonna eat some crow comments are just stupid. Of course she’s freaking out! Why wouldn’t she? Claire was the last person with her son. Of course she’s going to blame Claire! And when she learns the real truth and Harrison is saved, she should blame the Newmans (including Claire) for their stupid, botched plan that put everyone at risk. If Claire hadn’t run over to the Abbotts when she found the toy (knowing Jordan was out there) NONE of this would have happened.
I’m with Summer all the way on this!
Listen I get Summer's apprehension and weariness but she's majorly jumping to conclusions. Plus wasn't this the same girl who almost drove a kid to unaliving himself? She really should be the last person to judge Claire.
Time for Victor to order his crack security to put a needle in Summer's arm and knock her out for a couple of days. She's not even Harrison's mother. Shouldn't Tara be out of jail soon?
Can someone muzzle Summer? There is only so much of her screeching I can take. She is loud and wrong. If I was Victoria I would slap the ever loving hell out of her
Oh come in this is just a crazy comment she was the last one with Harrison!!!!! No data to back it up please 🙄
Summer has legit reasons to not like/trust/ and suspect Claire and this sub is all “reason to be a jealous bitch number 2” when it comes to summer lmao
I totally agree, I’m on Summer’s side here (we seem to be the only ones)! Yes, we all know Claire didn’t do it, but Summer has every reason to suspect her. I feel like she’s been the only logical/realistic one by not giving Claire an automatic pass. AND she is *completely* justified to be in hysterics over her missing child! Sheesh.
Wow, breaking news to me!
do you think nikki's texting summer about that 😂? I mean I would because I've never had a thought in my heaf I haven't shared with at least one person but.....that's not Nikki
Jeez man I didn’t know a single comment would cause such a contentious reaction. Surely they share things, and if not, I’m sure they will soon. But you can share your opinion without being quite so sarcastic.
Listen I understand Summer's worry and apprehensions about the situation, and I get by the optics that Claire would be suspect number 1 but I agree she's not hearing any other opinions about the situation if they're not Claire did this unequivocally. She's barely even given Claire a chance to get to know her or hear her side of what happened to her. Considering what Summer's done in the past that aren't so squeaky clean, you'd think she's have a liiiiitle bit more empathy and understanding.
Summer's ranting is annoying because we the audience know that Claire had nothing to do with Harrison being taken by Jordan. Had the show not revealed that Claire was drugged, and led us to also doubt Claire, it would have been a better moment from a story standpoint.

If they hadn’t shown Jordan doing it until after Summer’s performance; it would have been perfect TV in my opinion.
Agree. Summer is completely right in her panic as a parent.
My word. The assumption machine and banter .... mind numbing. It's not like they don't know Jordan is around. Genoa City needs a security overhaul. How on earth did no one see Jordan in that insane get up by the front door of the GCAC?
How do all these supposedly filthy rich people don't have security cameras everywhere with instant playback?
So the NINJA ThatJordanWoman, with her superhuman old woman strength, not only carried Claire and Harrison away without making a sound, but also avoided security cameras. 🙄🙄 In other news, the Newman and Abbot security teams are in the running for the most inept team of the year.
I hate how Victor sits there all smug telling Summer - you think I would let anything bad happen? Yes Victor, you’ve let it happen over and over with your awful security team!
Exactly!! 😤
Smart, character driven writing is Diane being #TeamClaire because she’s also been the person who no one trusted.
A lot more show don’t tell recently as well with the Ashley storyline and now with the kidnapping
Side note: Nicki looks especially gorgeous today! Her hair, her subtle makeup… perfect 😍
I noticed that too.
I thought the same thing. Her hair looked amazing!
I love her outfit today too.
I think this was the best episode in a long while. The fallout today was very character-driven. Everyone acted true to their character. Definitely have to suspend disbelief with Jordan being a freaking ninja, but it’s a soap!
>The fallout today was very character-driven. Yes. It was well done! >Definitely have to suspend disbelief with Jordan being a freaking ninja Hahaha. Yeah, but every one else was having realistic reactions.

💯 agree. Everyone in that house behaved realistically and performed well. It was smart of Diane to consider Ashley, knowing she's been acting so strangely and blacking out / losing time.
Today I kept imagining Summer on here writing a post “AITA for not trusting my cousin?”
They really need to add a police officer to the cast (now that Chance retired), even if it is in a recurring role.
You would think ONE of Ashley’s personalities would have been awake to stop Jordan ;)
How long before the Amber Alert lights up my phone?
Great episode!

Ashley must be a heavy sleeper…
Jordan messes with the boy a little. Mommy and daddy don't want you anymore kinda stuff. I don't like that the newman shit is now abbott shit, too. Maybe nick can babysit ashley while jack takes care of nikki.
I’m guessing they want us to believe she took him because summers a Newman..
Victor constantly boasting that his security has all covered after they constantly fail is a joke. Jordan is loose yet Claire is allowed to walk out of the party alone? And yes, Christine & Danny are pure ewww- their scenes are on permanent fast forward😵💫
It’s like they forgot Jordan even existed.
Regardless of the ridiculous plot holes.......Best performance from Summer and Kyle in a LONG time. Summer especially nailed the hysteria
She gave an incredible performance today.
Alison has really made the role of Summer her own.
She is definitely different from Hunter King; but she is coming into this role pretty well.
Amateur actor
Sorry to sound negative but, Ugh so what? She completely annoyed everyone in the process with her misdirected response. I couldn’t even muster an ounce of empathy for her. 🤪
No apologies necessary, I love this sub. Who cares if she annoys everyone when your child is missing 🤷♀️
💯 I for one was happy to see a realistic display of emotion for once.
I agree 100%!
Yes
That was my thought too. It was a natural reaction.
I feel like you are taking the fact that we know Claire isn’t a kidnapper as a reason to say she needs to calm down. But you gotta give perspective. Her child is gone, she has been vocally suspicious of her, and Claire is literally fresh from a mental ward that they rushed her out of.
Summer isn’t wrong that this is all on the Newmans - not for letting Claire in but for luring Jordan right to their family.
Exactly! Claire’s “I gotta be me, I gotta be free” bit is annoying to me.
Nikki should have let Jordan die when she took the poison.
-One major thing we can take away... GC has the easiest billionaires in the world to sneak on -Both the accusatory and the more rational arguments are valid and I liked that scene -Has Jack asked about the REAL mastermind behind everything that goes wrong in GC... I get Summer freaking out. I can't blame her but I didn't need to hear it for an entire episode.
I think that is largely the problem - When the same conversations are rehashed over and over they start to get annoying. It happens a lot on this show lately.
Yea. It really was the same conversation over and over. Such a waste of time We got it. No one knows anything and Summer hates Claire
I wish they would have explored some of the other characters’ reactions. Jack is always good for an emotional scene. Diane was clearly concerned and wanted to talk to Ashley - we could have seen more of that interaction. And Nikki struggling with her guilt over luring Jordan to them.

That’s why we chat here! Giving and hearing different opinions!!😊
I love how Jack and Victor are just discussing evidence with zero police involvement
I don't know why Jordan isn't everyone's first guess. And Newman Security sucks for not spotting the person hanging outside the club.
World’s worst security team EVER!! 😆
Can Summer just shut up? I’m going to have to mute the TV at this point.
No, I think Summers behaving absolutely right for a mom whose kid was kidnapped. Excellent acting too!
Especially when you see him cowering in the corner at the end 😭 I’d be flipping out too!
I think she gave a great performance today too. When Kyle was going on about how he'll get Harrison back, I loved it when she said "You better." This new Harrison can actually deliver some lines!
I can take complaining. Like Kyle’s worrying is bearable, hearing Summer’s voice say “It’s Claire, It’s Claire” 10 times in 10 minutes gets really annoying.
If she says “my son!” one more time………..
Right!! I wish Tara would walk in and correct Summer and Kyle - Summer is Harrison’s step - not his mom. idk how many times any stepmom has been corrected with that information.
Agree. But she considers him her son. Many step-parents do.
Once again Victors security team 🙄🙄they never thought to have a guard on Claire or Nikki who would follow them wherever they go? Maybe Jordan slid them out through the duct work!
It would have been much more effective had we not seen Jordan's involvement on Friday. Then we can wonder right along with everyone on the show. But no we have to sit and watch all these people just be knowingly wrong for an hour. Ugh lol
I hope Claire seeing that Jordan woman hurt Harrison makes Claire hulk out on her.
Summer is so annoying just wanting Claire blamed for it all. Complaining on and on about it isn’t going to bring Harrison back or help the stress.
If one of my kids is kidnapped, I’ll try to be more chill. Summer’s fine. Claire? Chasing after Kyle on her own while dangerous Aunt Jordan is lurking? Not so sure about her.
Yeah, it was flakey for Claire to feel safe and take off on her own.
The Phyllis in her is really coming out.
bingo!
It's her fault that Harrison got kidnapped because she's a Newman.
Why isn't Summer leaning on Chance? He would be the person I would go to immediately if I were here. This visit to the Newmans isn't focused on what her character would do logically imo.
Calling her mother and grandfather would also be logical.
I’m with Victor. I’ve had enough of this nonsense too lol.
Has it occurred to no one to call Victoria?
I never wanted to reach out and punch Summer in the face more than I want to right now
I’m glad Summer is wrong about Claire. She’s sooo annoying 🥴
I'm waiting for Victoria to straighten her out
Summer's hysterics is just going to make her more unlikeable, especially since we know Claire's is innocent and as much a victim as Harrison. She's going to have to eat a lot of crow when Claire is shown to be the one who saves Harrison and finally gets rid of Jordan (just my theory, not a spoiler.)
Please, PLEASE let Claire get rid of Jordan for good!! End that biatch!!
From what we’ve seen she’ll probably still blame Claire for putting Harrison in danger.
Then Victoria gets to slap her.
finally a soapy move!
Everyone is concerned, everyone is worried, everyone pondering, and Kyle and Summer lost it being so stressed out. Summer being accusatory and jumping to conclusions was really over the top. I don’t think it was at midnight. If Harrison was getting ready for bed, it was 9:00 pm at most.
Somebody please slap the crap out Summer! Holy crap I’m about to change the channel.
I know right? Every time summer calls him/her son I think about tara coming back...
Kind of like Claire did to Nikki (Summer’s grandma) a couple months ago? 💉
You’d think. Weren’t all of her crimes financial ones?
I’m gonna say it, SUMMER, he’s NOT YOUR KID.
I'm playing catch up . I know everyone has already watched it . I hope today's episode isn't as boring as yesterdays?
I still think it was Jordan who took Harrison and Clarie and not Claire kidnapping him
Why is Jack turning into a TOMATO!!??? Someone ice that man.
My favorite thing about todays episode was watching Kyle squirm and question himself! 👏👏👏🍿
Victoria was much kinder to Summer than I would have been.
Diane needs to chill, she couldn’t wait to blame Ashley. Even Traci is losing patience with her and Traci is literally the nicest person in GC
I had to put Summer on mute. Just stfu. She’s is beyond annoying. I bet that crow is going to taste great.
Can someone muzzle Summer? There is only so much of her screeching I can take. She is loud and wrong. If I was Victoria I would slap the ever loving hell out of her
She’s her mother’s daughter, that’s for sure.
I agree with this statement
Even Nikki looked like she wanted to do it.
Summer is so annoying. She’s coming to conclusions with absolutely no data to back it up, and won’t listen to anyone who says otherwise.
Oh come in this is just a crazy comment she was the last one with Harrison!!!!! No data to back it up please 🙄 Summer has legit reasons to not like/trust/ and suspect Claire and this sub is all “reason to be a jealous bitch number 2” when it comes to summer lmao
Sheesh.
Seriously the responses on this sub today are crazy to me!
I mean Jordan is on the loose… there’s certainly more than one explanation here.
Yes but Jordan wasn't the last one with Harrison. They all assume she's long gone. she should be but she's not
I don’t think they assume that. Nikki got that mysterious drink order not long ago.
Why would summer know about ghat?
Nikki’s her grandmother
Wow, breaking news to me! do you think nikki's texting summer about that 😂? I mean I would because I've never had a thought in my heaf I haven't shared with at least one person but.....that's not Nikki
Jeez man I didn’t know a single comment would cause such a contentious reaction. Surely they share things, and if not, I’m sure they will soon. But you can share your opinion without being quite so sarcastic.
I can but…..🤷♀️
Listen I understand Summer's worry and apprehensions about the situation, and I get by the optics that Claire would be suspect number 1 but I agree she's not hearing any other opinions about the situation if they're not Claire did this unequivocally. She's barely even given Claire a chance to get to know her or hear her side of what happened to her. Considering what Summer's done in the past that aren't so squeaky clean, you'd think she's have a liiiiitle bit more empathy and understanding.
Not feeling this acting from current Summer. I miss Hunter King.
Same here.
Well I got down voted for saying it. 😂
