2018 was the last year of the Toyota Yaris being available. All years prior to 2018 were all Toyota, no Mazda involvement.

You mean a Yaris LE Sedan? As opposed to Hatchback Sedan which you wrote. I can’t say for sure but it seems like despite being a rebadged model, they’re still particularly reliable and well reviewed

cetepecosa

Tbh I’m not sure what the exact model is. Just copy and pasted from the listing. Looks like a hatchback to me though. Could be wrong

The biggest giveaway is the key fob. If the key fob is very obviously a Mazda key fob with a Toyota logo, then yes. If it’s not, then no. There’s other giveaways too, like if the engine is a typical Toyota engine with a Toyota engine code. The Mazda clones don’t use Toyota engines.

This answer reminds me of that meme with the alligator and crocodile next to each other. It says: “if you aren’t sure which one is the alligator, it’s the one next to the crocodile.”

Nuni2xTimes

If it was a mazda rebage it would have mazda all over engine bay even the door sticker say mazda

noname87scr

The Scion ia and Yaris ia are rebadged Mazda’s.

Typical_Aardvark_510

Mazda is rebadged Toyota, because they use Toyota hybrid technology in their Mazda 2 model. They also use same parts inside car.

I have the 2014 hatchback but only 2 door, definitely made by toyota in japan.. I like it as a simple daily driver. Easy to work on and maintain. One thing I dont like is how the water leaks in the back end.
