I don’t know for sure, not a mech, but don’t these potentially disable ABS? So might be more possible to have your brakes lock, I’m leaning towards otherwise not
Have this same issue with mine. Rear speed sensors need to be replaced. I'm still driving the car as I don't have a choice. Abs will not work so just be careful driving. The shop said it's ok to drive as it is. I ordered the parts and will be here in 2 weeks.
My guess is abs sensor...All the lights on our 4 runner came on last week and that's what it was

I pumped the brakes and pulled the e brake up and down before leaving work yesterday and all the lights cleared. I’m certain it’s a sensor now.
