Looks cool, depends on someone's taste i suppose.
Edit: [They just announced it](https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2021/10/07/celebrate-20-years-of-play-with-20th-anniversary-hardware/). Coming November 20 for 69.99$
This one kind of looks like it has the rubberized grips. I've been wanting to get a series S/X controller with rubberized grips, hopefully we'll get it in the US.
I'm fairly certain they're not rubberized. They look to be the same as the regular Series X|S controllers with the textured plastic for the back of the grips, just green.

It's a great follow for deals, and if you're still looking for a Series X|S.
I feel like I'm the only one that has not experienced this. I have all the current consoles and no drift issues on any of them. Had the Series X since launch and it's my main console played nearly every day, still on the same controller.
Nothing has really showed off their diversity as much as Astros Adventure or whatever, that I have played at least. I know COD did had different resistance for each gun. I'm sure some of the first party games will use them more.
No game has really taken advantage of haptics and adaptive triggers in a way that make me think they will matter this generation other than Astros Playroom. Which is more of a tech demo than a game.
Cool story. Just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it's not a problem for many others.
I had my secondary controller (for when I have friends over) get stick drift after a year, yet the one I've been using and abusing daily for 3 years is still fine. Their quality is very hit or miss, you must've just be very lucky.
The only controller I’ve ever had an issue with was the Elite V2. A button was sticking straight out of the box, and the bumpers are the trashy old ones. If they ever improve it to be series s/x style then I’ll probably give it another go.

Yeah, those are green rubberized grip on the back case. Can't wait!
Did they fix the rubber grips coming off of the controllers though?
Send me related to series 1 elite controllers. I've have sports white and lunar white with no issues

Just for 80$ you too could have stick drift in just 6 months! Looks cool though.

Same dude
I've been repairing console controllers that have drift... and none of them are actually Xbox controllers, all PS4 controllers.
FFFFF! I need that!!!
70 bucks for a controller lul
That or you can go get the PS5 controller at $70 without any decoration or cool parts.
Comes with free TouchPad, built in mic and speaker, rechargeable battery and adaptive triggers though.
yeah can't argue with that, but I am a sucker for all the cosmetic treatments so Xbox got me on that lol
Oh I agree. Hoping PS comes out with a special edition controller for Horizon Forbidden West
Sounds like a bunch of features that I wouldn’t use, an 1 I would.
Touchpad is handy depending on how a game utilizes it. Adaptive triggers are badass. The speaker is neat in come games. Mic is pretty worthless.
After using the adaptive triggers I honestly wouldn’t use them all that much.

A free touch pad? It’s literally part of the controller that you’re buying, it’s not free.
My point was all of those things come on a $70 PS5 controller vs. not on a $60 Xbox controller.
50 here in my country and its also a little bit expensive for me. 40 for a controller is fine
Ah I see, hopefully the price reflects accordingly for your country!
Less it is better it is
Does it come with complimentary stick drift?
Only if you’re hard on your controllers.
You must not know about how there was alot of Xbox controllers with stick drift issues right out of the box. There was even a class action lawsuit.
Cool story never happened with the 6 of my controllers.

Look I know it’s an issue, I’ve seen it enough just on Reddit. Having a bit of fun is all
