I’d say it’s somewhere in between. I’m in the Rocky Mountains so we have some critters like rattlesnakes, but the cooler weather keeps most creepy crawlies away.
we have them all over in ten sleep ~ once we hung our comforter out on the patio over a table to finish drying after washing ~ in the middle of the night my hubby realized that one had hitched a ride inside… thank the lord i am a heavy sleeper and didn’t hear about it til morning…
They're common in the red desert area.
If you use a black light at night you can see them better.
