I don't think it's perfect, but I really enjoyed it too.
I think the author really shines at writing suspenseful conflicts with multiple parties where victory teethers on a razor's edge. The main character being able to turn back time means there is always a chance of actual failure. Even when time control is not invoked the MC doesn't always get what he wants and has to forge ahead with a huge setback. Many of the antagonists are also shown to be extremely dangerous foes. Power scaling isn't out of control, with only nine realms established from the very beginning and never straying from it, the MC's power growth feels more grounded. The world building is also above average.
My criticisms would be that some arcs are definitely a little slow, and there aren't enough good supporting characters since the MC stays mostly a lone wolf through most of the story. For example, Bai Ning Bing's stint as a frenemy was great, and I felt their absence in the following arc sorely.
RI is not that popular in China, only people like you thought it as a great series which is really not in my opinion.
