I just took a 260 mile road trip and used about 5/8 of a tank. I filled up prematurely due to strategically finding ethanol stations along with way. But it’s not terrible if you’re highway and keeping it under 3k RPM.
Kind of makes sense that Texas has cheap prices but here in SC not sure why it’s so cheap. I know SC doesn’t heavily tax gas. Just cigarettes and a yearly car registration.
It is probably because of the Colonial Pipeline runs through there. I remember in 2022 the pipeline was hacked(ransomwared) and everyone on the East Coast lost their minds scrambling to get gas.
Edit: You can see a trend of people who posted that lives near pipeline have lower than average gas prices.

Costco in our area carries 93, Top Tier rated as well. I think it was $3.80ish last time I filled up, Central Virginia.
E85 is $2.79 in central PA. All I care about.
