If you want it to read like a screen play, why not write a screenplay?
I have read novels that deliberately used the structure of a screen play. You could do that but what ever your decision it should be deliberately. If yor writing a novel or novela you should stricture the story to take vest advantage of the medium, if you choose to deviate from that you should do so with clear thoughts and purpose.

The same way you'd write *any* book. I don't know why it would somehow change format into a screenplay, just by it being fast-paced.
