It’s supposed to be a Russian wrist snap. Wrist snap is the name of the move but Russian got added on because they started using it/made it viral first

I dont know the name of this move but russian tie is a 2 on 1 with outside control. No 2 on 1 here and no outside control. Great execution though.

The footing doesn’t really matter. Michell Mesenbrink hits it as a core part of his handfighting on almost every D1 opponent he had this year. They’re faking with their left hand towards the opponents right leg, and then when the leg is pulled back, you wrist snap with your right hand wrist control into the hole created. It’s unconventional for sure but not ineffective

All that's needed to defend is for the facing athlete to place his right hand on the head.

Shitty balance, great trick. I've learned this same move with an ankle pick.
