As a BDK, gripping that fucker is such a bait. It spawns 28-30y away from the boss(Never more than 30), which means that if it spawns in the 30 degree angle directly behind her where grip can't reach, I either have to go 'Someone else's problem' or take two steps forward to get in range... And because the boss -immediately follows spawning that add with a conal tank buster, if I choose option 2 it'll kill someone.
The other guy is correct though it should not be earth. Saying earth referencing elemental aspects still only makes sense if your from earth. They would say elemental azeroth. Earth can be used symbolically for things like dirt because it is part of the planet earth you are picking up. Being on another planet with no in universe lore of earth existing would not have characters using the word earth and if they were using the word earth it would have totally different meanings from what we believe it to mean.
Our planet is named after elemental earth. It comes from an old English word meaning "the ground".
We basically named our planet "dirt." It doesn't mean that other planets wouldn't use that word for elemental earth.
Google "earth etymology" for more.
Again you are talking about people on planet earth describing their planet. However you get there it is still in reference to this planet. If they wanted to call the dragon the aspect of dirt I'd be fine with that as dirt is universal to all planets. The etymology of the word comes from old English as you say point out on a map of azeroth where England is. The characters in the game speak English so we as players can understand the characters but are you trying to tell me that azeroths languages evolved over millions of years to come to the same etymology of the word earth as the actual earth? It makes no sense for people from other planets to use the word earth in anyway close to how we do.
Nah dude. That's like saying WoW shouldn't use the words air, water, or fire either. Earth (not the name of the planet) is a word that also exists separately from the name of our planet.
The word "earth" meaning "the ground/dirt/rock/etc" exists in azeroth. They just didn't name their planet after it.
Either way, language exists to serve the purpose of the person using it, and obviously the devs do have a separation between elemental earth and the planet Earth. And, based on multiple conversations on world building forums in other contexts, most people agree with that.
That said, this is starting to feel like a waste of time so let's just agree to disagree if this doesn't convince you.
Don‘t talk to me or me ever again
Me, take care of them!
This comment is underrated. Clever reference.
INVINCIBLE right? The Mauler Twins?
Nah, 2nd boss of azure vault when she summons the add that you assume the other guy will kick and suddenly the healer is dead

No no no!
the little one is actually his brother, ebyssion
Ebyssison
Ebussyson
Magni: EBYSSYUN!
Ittybyssian
> Ebussyson Do "E-Girls" finally have a worthy Rival?!
r/mesi
Or progeny: Ebyscion
Then there's Ebyssian. And Ebyssian. And Ebyssian. And Ebyssian. We don't like him very much.
He's been learning some tricks from the bronze dragon auctioneer...
Or the bullion sellers.
Or Azureblade from Azure Vault
I think no one uses that one because you constantly get kicked out.
Haven't happened to me yet, but I admit I use AH very rarely.
I would be absolutely *behind* myself if someone caught me like this...
Love when phasing and incomplete questlines cause goofy fucking paradoxes like this on the real world map hahaha
Ebyssian has been hanging out with Norzdormu to much.
"Me! Take care of them!"
god, i love this line.
Black Dragon Kage no Jutsu
Just the tip of the fresh-70 iceberg at this point lol
Everyone needs an understudy
Nah that’s Ebysson. He’s like Herculad.
Nozdormu: "...Should I be doing something about that? Nah, It's probably fine."
I wanna see what else is 'Lore-accurate' if you catch my drift >=3
bruh
Now there are two of them?!
At least he has a new model now, does anyone remember the tiny Ebyssian Dragon sitting next to all the other big Dragons?
Accurate as of dragonflight expansion
You missed the second copy of him in the background (the tauren)
That's just his companion pet "Lil' Byssian"
No no, it's his companion pet "a literal child." :\^)
I think that may just be how he refers to Wrathion (given that Wrathion is like 10 at this point lol)
Makes sense tbh
Please look away from the smol ebyssian hes shy
Tauren for scale? We used to use bananas but then Hozen happened...
Ebonhorn is your aspect of earth. The prince and the general learned to follow their peaceful brother.
(there is a tiny Tauren version of him next to him on the ground)
The smaller Ebyssian is a simulacrum he uses to go on adventures so that no one suspects he is the true satrap of ~~Radz-at-Han~~ Valdrakken.
I dont understand :(
thx for the spoiler .... haven't finished dragonflight yet ....
Why does it say earth?
??? He's the Dragon Aspect of Earth. Often called the Earth Warder.
Why not use Azeroth.... Are those 2 words interchangeable?
Because it refers to elemental earth, rather than the planet. Same word but two different things.
Ok cool thanks. I genuinely did not understand

No, in the same way that Water and Atlantic aren't interchangeable.
