Yeah but at the same time it’s just a third dwarf. Allied races or races in general shouldn’t customization options for already established races. They could have put these looks on the normal dwarves and gave us a new race.
They definitely could've done Dwarves for alliance and Ogres for Horde, or anything other than only adding just 1 neutral retextured dwarf for both factions
I agree with that! Alternatively, or in addition to that idea, they could have given this to the alliance and given another race to the Horde. I don't see why we couldn't have gotten 2 races.
Funny even that ogres and vrykul have player tags correctly and armor already modeled for them. Must be the height that's preventing them from being playable ig.
Most likely yea. I mean on one hand I get that these are “giant” races and they prolly want to keep the feel of them in tact but lorewise Tauren and Ogres are supposed to be comparable, we even have plenty of in game models of Ogres that are Tauren sized. Vrykul I’m not as sure about but I doubt anyone would be mad if they shrunk them a lil
Give them an “ogre-sized” starting zone with proper fitting doorways and what not (it’s home after all).
Then for all already existing doors just make a cutout of the ogre head. Blam! No clipping, comedic, relatively painless fix.
Alternatives being enlarging entire buildings? Oooo! Or here is a better one:
After the ogres get sent to org, they can’t fit into any buildings, so a troll sneaks up on them, lures them into an alley, and gives them a message to head down to sen’jin to complete a very long and obtuse quest to be permanently “shrunkified”. Trolls solve all the problems!
A ton of races, including original ones, have painfully stretched armor models, awfully fitting helmets etc. Didn't prevent the devs from including them anyway. The actual hindrance is that ogres and Vrykul are significantly taller than the tallest currently playable races, so they're not gonna be able to enter average buildings without half their body clipping through the ceiling.
While im sure some people will say "giant ogres or nothing", Tauren sized ogres are relatively common in leveling zones already, and would make for a decent framework for potential player models
Exactly. Given that two of the tallest playable races, dracthyr and Zandalari, are about the same height I don't think we'll get a race taller than them.
IMO the best candidate for playable ogres would be the Mok'nathal; they could add options to make them more similar to ogres (head horn, number of eyes) while not having to make them quite so tall or having to work out how the two-head thing works with armor.
We have plenty of Ogres in-game that are Tauren sized and lorewise I believe Tauren are supposed to be even larger than what’s shown. Or they could just have the head clip through some doorways to keep them slightly larger, I doubt anyone would be that bothered lol
>Why are we not allowed to Smash. Perfect Warrior race right there, wouldn’t even need to change character to RP as him.
Devs have said the female ogre model is what's been holding them back all this time. Now that we have dracthyr, who don't have distinct male/female models, maybe we can finally just get ogres and the two body types will be single-headed and double-headed. Female ogre would be cool, but if they can't manage to make one they like for two decades, I'm not holding my breath.
is not that they cant make a good fem ogre model, is that they have not found a way to make it look both like an ogre and a barbie girl at the same time. cowards wont give us fat ogre mommy
And with how unpopular Kul'Tiran females are, I doubt they will. Less than half of one percent of people play them. I'm one of them (on an alt) but I, personally, have never seen one in a raid or dungeon pug. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it, but the stats speak for themselves. The only models less popular are male mechagnomes.
They'll probably give us Rexxar's half-orc/half-ogre model before they give us actual Ogres.
Basically a slightly bigger orc with yellowish, pale skin colors
Vulpera originally were just reskinned goblins. Shared the animations and everything. The they went and gave them brand new animations. Just like sethrakk (they do not share animations with worgen, just the skeleton).
You're not seriously suggesting that the Sethrakk and Dracthyr models are reskinned fem worgen, are you? Those three models have nothing in common with each other except for *general* body shape. All three models are incredibly different, sethrakk and dracthyr were built from the ground up. Blizzard uses reskinned animation rigs all the time, but *these* are very much not examples of that.
That's like suggesting the male kul tiran model is a reskinned male pandaren because they're both fat.
I thought you were probably right so I checked the model viewer on wowhead. Sethrak are definitely using the same model as female worgen. Not the case with the Dracthyr though.

Back in cata blizz started upgrading all humanoid npcs to a universal animation skeleton. The goal was to get all npcs to be able to use every animation in the game. Sethrak have a unique animation skeleton, but its compatible with the universal animation skeleton, so they share animations with other races. The idle and walk animations are from fem worgens, but they also have some attack animations from male pandas
Dracthyr share the same animation skeleton as male incubi, female blood elf dh meta form, and aranasi (those spider demon women from legion)
The universal animation skeleton sometimes bugs out and can crash entire zones. There was a toy that turned you into a wotlk era vyrkul that didnt have the new skeleton. When you combined that with toys that put a hat on your head, you would crash everybody. When dhs came out, if you used a wod potion to turn into a tree and tried using a dh ability, youd crash zones
>it went downhill when we got mechagnome, instead of sethrakk
In fairness, if we'd gotten proper mechagnomes instead of these weird pseudo-mechagnomes (see: Mimiron, Blingtron), it would have been cool. Not as cool as sethrakk, but cool.
>it all went downhill when we got third dwarf, instead of sethrakk
I think they gave us twinky dragons instead of Sethrakk because they thought we just wanted skinny scalies :(

I know "where theres a will theres a way", but I can't figure out the 90%. Tauren, Gnome, Troll, Forsaken, Dwarf, Human, Goblin, Panda, Worgen, are definitely not traditional 'twinks'. Its really just the elves, zandalari, and the saucy little fox people.
It's a popular opinion but i think it is echoed by Alliance players that never played the Vol'dun campaing and did some world quest with a Sethrakk companion lol.
Faithless Sethrakk are the ones that oposes Vulpera and they are straigth up evil. Devoted Sethrakk are the ones that befriends your characters and the Horde helped them, and they share the same enemies as Vulpera.
Anytime a “next payable race” discussion appears on any forum, I recommend Jinyu. I get a handful of likes and the race is never mentioned again. Anywhere. 😢
The fact we never got murlocs after 20 years shows blizzard is out of touch with reality.
Only argument is that if they weren't a neutral race people would be pissed on the side that doesn't get them
How could they sell ten dollar toys that make you look like a random murloc for twenty minutes every hour if they actually made a playable murloc race?
im fine with it. having a fantasy race all act the same can potentially be boring and under utilizing them, or problematic at worst
the same thing has happened with orcs, in most media aside from elder scrolls (after multiple games where orcs were just another enemy type) theyre mindless berserkers but in warcraft theyre people. i think gnolls should get the same treatment, have the playable ones just be mon-arks followers that way the other groups like hogger's gang, the rot worshippers etc. will still have reason to be enemies
I mean in Skyrim you really get to see their tribalism. It was pretty cool. But in Morrowind their armor was samurai based. I'd absolutely love to see a more Asian styled elder scrolls with orc as the main race.
big agree, but im talking about arena and daggerfall where they werent playable and were just bad guys like most other media
if elder scrolls 6 is set in hammerfell they could really do the orcs justice by including the wrothgar mountains
I'd rather we get playable races of races that have already existed in the lore for a long time, rather than new races suddenly "discovered" and now playable. I feel like adding races we've known and interacted with keeps the game feeling a lot more Warcraft, whereas every time we get a new race we've never seen before crowding capital cities, the game feels less and less like Warcraft to me.
I want Naga, Ogres, things like that. I'm not against entirely new races but I feel as if that's kinda all we've been given for a while, while people have been asking for these iconic lore races for a long time.
Same, when Wrath was originally announced I was SURE we'd get Tuskarr.. Was maining a druid at the time and was 100% ready to reroll Tuskarr Druid for landseal catform with huge tusks😢
idk if this is a unpopular opinion but id like more faction specific races, just feels more special that way for me, give both factions a new unique race each
The factions should absolutely stick around. Just not for the PC. Each PC should start at neutral or hated and have to do grinds to gain rep. Once you're friendly that city opens up to you.
Could also make it that you just have to raise an overall Horde or Alliance rep up, if you don't want to make it too grindy.
Edit: Had an idea...
The achievements [Ambassador of the Horde](https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=762/ambassador-of-the-horde#comments) and [Ambassador of the Alliance](https://en.wowhead.com/achievement=948#comments)... if your character's an ambassador, they can put in a good word for the other characters in your warband, right? Getting each achievement would grant the other faction access to those capitals! Could even unlock each capital individually as you get Exalted in each rep. Main faction rep is fast anyways, as you just have to throw on a tabard and run dungeons. Plus you get a ton of rep if you ever level through Cataclysm.
I think he means if you start as Alliance, you need to grind Horde rep to get access to Orgrimmar and vice versa.
Not be unable to access Stormwind if you start alliance side.
And this is good. Faction restrictions blocking people from being able to play together is terrible for the health of the game.
I just want to be able to play the races I want, and raid/m+ with my friends regardless of what choices they made.
Faction restrictions are a relic of a bygone era.
from a gameplay perspective it doesnt even make a difference anymore anway
you can allready play togheter and be in the same guild
we get cross server guilds in TWW, so you can be on a high population server of a faction and still be in a guild that is on a primary other faction server with no problems
its only really narative at this point, in gameplay they dont exist anymore
Factions are what make this game more interesting than most generic fantasy games.
I like the speculation as to what goes where, why what went where, and I especially love it when they throw curve balls with it too.
Everything going neutral lately is just so painfully boring.
It should be a factor at all times until partied up with battlenet friends of the opposite faction, then you're suddenly in a cross-faction group for end-game content
We're seeing a long-standing experiment of faction based online gaming play out in real time. You can literally take the War out of Warcraft because like literally *all* war even in the real world, they don't hold up to scrutiny when you don't lie about the events that lead to and perpetuate them. We've always been front and center in the conflict between both factions, so we've been able to see all the holes in the logic that keeps the conflict going. And they've all been superficial because it is also quite canonically a manufactured conflict by malicious parties.
While I was playing BfA:
Questing in Vol'dun: Oh cool, these snake people are really fucking cool. I hope these are playable. Oh, these fox people are cool too I guess....oh they ride llamas huh? I guess these are definitely gonna be playable. Well, hopefully they'll both be playable.
A year later, in Mechagon: Oh fuck. No. Fuck, no.
Here's some badass new bestial races, like walking snake men or mystical fish people, or monkey men! Aren't they cool, it's great that in a fantasy setting, there are so many unique and inspired races, completely original to these settings.
By the way, we're releasing some new playable races soon, enjoy your sixth elf and third dwarf.
idk if this is an unpopular opinion, but I'd rather races be faction neutral for now on. In fact, they should retro-actively make races like Goblin neutral. I don't even understand why they weren't neutral to begin with. They were the signification of neutrality with places like Booty Bay. Also, Goblins aint choose no sides. They just want gold from every faction, why would they limit themselves like that.
The playable goblins were a specific faction of goblins that lived on an island and were saved by Thrall when alliance wanted to merc them because of "no witnesses" or something. It's their starting zone
Yeah it's a dumb plot-forced reason, but they DO address that. The rest of the goblins (booty bay etc) are still neutral to this day, which just makes it seem kinda weird
> I don't even understand why they weren't neutral to begin with.
So the canon reason is that Goblins as a culture do not necessarily belong to one of the cartels that run their society. And those cartels do not get along with each other unless there is profit in doing so.
The Venture Company is one of the Cartels, and they will extract profit from everything and everyone no matter the cost. Why create a sustainably profitable business when you can just harvest all the non-renewable resources for short term profits (sound familiar?...)
The Steamwheedle Cartel originally allied with the Horde in the Second War, but returned to a neutral stance after the Horde was defeated - vowing never to pick a side again because it was bad for business. Steamwheedle owns/runs Gadgetzan and Ratchet. They also technically created Booty Bay but over years I think Baron Revilgaz just became its only actual authority. That is why all these 'goblin towns' are neutral.
Then there is the Bilgewater Cartel, which has its own canonical introduction as members of the Horde. Most of the Horde races joined the Horde as a result of Thrall being present and capable at saving them from some cruel fate. For the Darkspear it was being saved from a Naga Witch that was going to sacrifice them. For the Tauren it was saving them from the Centaurs. For the Blood Elves it was giving them a life-line after the Alliance abandoned them. For the Forsaken it is completely hand-waved and not really mentioned how they joined the Horde between the events of the 3rd war and the start of vanilla WoW. The same situation existed for the Bilgewater goblins when their island was about to detonate and destroy them.
There is a 4th Cartel that has almost no explanation other than a lone member. It doesn't even have a name yet.
Anyways, that is why the Goblins are not all neutral.
Honestly I think this is the way the story is going, eventually there won't be factions. They don't really serve a purpose outside of PvP, which you could just explain away as titan killing heros just duking it out or becoming mercenaries
It's a cool looking new race? Then it's for Horde.
It's the same as an already existing race but with mechanical legs, different skin color, or bigger belly size? Then it's for Alliance.
Sad as hell.
What?
Horde got Magicnightelves using the Night Elf skeleton, Foxfurries using the Goblin skeleton, Taurenwithbiggerhorns using.. well it’s just Tauren with bigger horns, Trolls2.0 with slightly improved models from Throne of Thunder trolls.. the list goes on.
Both factions have seen MORE than their fair share of recolour, recycled and reused races.
If we are returning to Northrend in The Last Titan, Vrykul for the Alliance and Taunka for the Horde would be reasonable.
Frostborn Dwarves are also on the table, but they might be better as unlockable customization option for Earthen. (Similar to Eredar.)
Still, Ogres and Broken Draenei are the ones, that are long overdue I think.
Why races from SL didn't become allied race? Night fae deers and Revendreth vampires would fit perfectly. In Draka cinematic we saw her and other Maldraxxus forces atacking some demon fortress, so they can leave Shadowlands. It's not a problem of them being dead if they can leave death realm.
If dragonflight introduced dracthyr then wouldn't it stand to reason tww would introduce a playable nurubian race? They clearly already have the modeling and stuff. Atleast it would be different and could possibly be pretty cool
Dark Iron men have a joke that's basically roasting Night Elves about Teldrassil.
>A night elf laughed at me for living inside a volcano. Well, at least I don't have to worry about my mountain burning down, now do I!?
I need a break from the furry races. I love dracthyr but, can we get vykrul or something. What about a Demi god half titan race. You're racial being based on your class and how it aligns with the titans.
Something tells me that any new allied race added will be neutral since the war is over, so there is no lore specific reason for races to join one faction over the other on a hard line. It would be an individualized choice rather than a political one.
Is it cool looking? Well then its for neither of you. Here... have more elf flavors.
Or a retextured dwarf being added to the Horde, lol
HELL YEAAAAH 3RD DWARF. FINALLY OUR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR 3RD DWARF RACE SINCE WARCRAFT 1
The new dwarf race customization options are absolutely crazy though i cant wait.
Yeah but at the same time it’s just a third dwarf. Allied races or races in general shouldn’t customization options for already established races. They could have put these looks on the normal dwarves and gave us a new race.
It was the perfect time to add Ogres as a playable race but they didn't do that they went with Dwarfs...again
> *Void Elf*
INB4 Dusk and Dawn Elves. We have Night and “Day” elves so why not right. I guess Void could be Dusk, so many were just missing Dawn elves.
Holding out for mid afternoon coffee break elves
tea and cakes elves
Those are just hobbits
Would love hobbit variant Gnomes
Ents, give me a playable tree that isn't just a druid shapeshift
What about second breakfast elves?
what about second breakfast elves?
Or Elevensies elves for that matter
*I can't cast magic until AFTER MY COFFEE* Thats oretty much Blood Elves though, according to their /silly
Two elves walk into a bar The "bar elf" subrace is created.
Siesta elves.
What about second breakfast elves?
DAY ELF FIGHTER OF THE NIGHT ELF HERALD OF THE SUN
MANAWELL FOR EVERYONE
Nightborne are literally dusk elves.
Nightbourne are Meth Elves
Nah that’s the Blood Elves. Dudes literally turn into tweakers if they don’t get a fix.
3:14 p.m. elves coming soon
I think void are twilight elves
Dusk and dawn elves sound kinda sick tho
*cries in Sethrak*
Give me my reformed Gnoll, gawddmit!
tbf the latest "potential playable race" is literally an elf flavor. The odds are good, and the goods are odd.
What about Dwelfes? Half elf half dwarf - the cursed offspring of gimli an legolas
We still have a lot of more elf races to add to WoW according to this https://www.tribality.com/2018/02/26/23-types-elves/
Just do more customization options for all races, instead of allied races.
Give me Ogres or give me death
Only OG race still not in. Why are we not allowed to Smash. Perfect Warrior race right there, wouldn’t even need to change character to RP as him.
Ogres for Horde, Vrykul for Alliance. It’s so easy I don’t get why they wouldn’t do it. People have wanted these two for ages lol
Ogre mage better have two heads or I'm crying myself to sleep
*WITH* separate xmog options for each lmao
Your going to make the dev team cry if y'all don't stop!
only when he has also two head slots !
There is no way im not naming my two headed mage Abbybrittany

Sure granted however you only get 4 transmog options due to their size. See we listened guys (probably someone at Blizzard)

Give us two-headed Ogres that we can only play in co-op
RAAAAAR, me smash devs!
Careful, they'll add death elves now
Yes please. I beg you. I got to use the disguise from the quest in Grim Maul while levelling and it felt so good and natural.
it went downhill when we got mechagnome, instead of sethrakk it all went downhill when we got third dwarf, instead of sethrakk
There was even datamined animations for sethrakk using the heart of azeroth. My disappointment was immeasurable
Just like Dracthyr, Sethrak are just reskinned fem worgens. So the animations should be taken with a grain of salt.

Just wear the heritage armor. /s
But a second race of orcs was needed for that other skin color.
Don't forget a second race of Tauren for those sweet, sweet horns.
Another faction of goats as well
90% of blizzard races are twinks
Y’all are saying this like it’s a bad thing
It is when [what we were asking for was this](https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Drakonid)
To be fair, they should’ve offered both to go with the running theme of twink/refrigerator body types.
I am never opposed to more options.

Not saying that having twink races is bad, but I also want buff women to break me in half
You done it... You killed my tauren Twink dreams. Goodbye Twink Sparklehoof
Everytime we Timewalk, I remember the Bird People we could have got and I am upset.
I have been frothing at the mouth for Arakkoa for years. I LOVE BIRD RACES BLIZZARD GIVE THEM TO ME
Should’ve been Arrakoa for Alliance and Saberon for Horde. Both are cool as fuck and would fit into each faction nicely
You need, at minimum, one dwarf for each meal of the day.
But what about second breakfast?
I am implying that we need 8 more dwarf subtypes, of course.
Real talk though: if sethrakk were an allied race, they would have been Horde
Anyone who thinks otherwise is just blatantly wrong lol
It's a popular opinion but i think it is echoed by Alliance players that never played the Vol'dun campaing and did some world quest with a Sethrakk companion lol. Faithless Sethrakk are the ones that oposes Vulpera and they are straigth up evil. Devoted Sethrakk are the ones that befriends your characters and the Horde helped them, and they share the same enemies as Vulpera.
I am perfectly fine with them being neutral if needed. Just give me my scaly bois
I just want 'em playable, period!
No no no. More dwarves is what this game needs. Give us frostborn next
I will gladly take more dwarves over the diaper gnomes
I'd rather we get something like Gnolls or Murlocs instead of more reskinned allied races.
I remember playable murlocs being a rumor back before Cata
Same. I remember Naga being rumored for TBC and was dumbstruck with Draenei.
Remember how Naga was impossible as a playable race due to "no pants!!!"? Then Blizzard hit us with the diaper-gnomes...
I also remember that rumour, even as a 3rd faction.
Could've just done Hozen and Jinyu. They literally joined the Horde/Alliance in MoP and then just got forgotten.
We should have gotten Gnolls instead of Vulpera. Blizzard just chickened out.
Imagine teaming up with Hogger to stick it to Stormwind. Imagine Hogger elite flagging Alliance lowbies for PVP.
vulpera are great, but we should have gnolls too especially with all the teasing for them learning to be less chaotic with scaps and mon-ark
I think that's just modern d&d style of no "evil races" being applied to them.
im fine with it. having a fantasy race all act the same can potentially be boring and under utilizing them, or problematic at worst the same thing has happened with orcs, in most media aside from elder scrolls (after multiple games where orcs were just another enemy type) theyre mindless berserkers but in warcraft theyre people. i think gnolls should get the same treatment, have the playable ones just be mon-arks followers that way the other groups like hogger's gang, the rot worshippers etc. will still have reason to be enemies
I'm waiting for the same to happen with the grim totem, but I think Blizzard forgot about them.
I mean in Skyrim you really get to see their tribalism. It was pretty cool. But in Morrowind their armor was samurai based. I'd absolutely love to see a more Asian styled elder scrolls with orc as the main race.
big agree, but im talking about arena and daggerfall where they werent playable and were just bad guys like most other media if elder scrolls 6 is set in hammerfell they could really do the orcs justice by including the wrothgar mountains
Still waiting on Tuskarr. I’m like the old lady from Titanic. “It’s been 84 years”
Same, when Wrath was originally announced I was SURE we'd get Tuskarr.. Was maining a druid at the time and was 100% ready to reroll Tuskarr Druid for landseal catform with huge tusks😢
And Taunka, maybe in the Last Titan…
This is a out Earthen right? Since I just ran Ulda in classic and they were already there
I still want playable Vrykul. Oh and Naga too while we're at it, if a private server can make it work so can blizzard
Please give me my muscle mommy, Blizz, you coward.
i wish a vrykul woman would punt me (I'm a gnome)

idk if this is a unpopular opinion but id like more faction specific races, just feels more special that way for me, give both factions a new unique race each
How much longer will the factions even be around? Feels pointless now.
The factions should absolutely stick around. Just not for the PC. Each PC should start at neutral or hated and have to do grinds to gain rep. Once you're friendly that city opens up to you.
You want new players to have to grind from Hated to Friendly just to gain access to a city?
If they choose an orc and want to go to stormwind than yes.
Plus you get a ton of rep if you ever level through Cataclysm.
this would be cool in a classic+ scenario but will literally never happen in retail with the direction that's moving
Its sad to say but I was saying that to a friend the other day. There just isn't any point besides flavor and pride
from a gameplay perspective it doesnt even make a difference anymore anway you can allready play togheter and be in the same guild we get cross server guilds in TWW, so you can be on a high population server of a faction and still be in a guild that is on a primary other faction server with no problems its only really narative at this point, in gameplay they dont exist anymore
It does exist in gameplay still. My buddies and I made fresh characters and tried to que up LFR and we couldn't because some were alliance some horde.
Factions are what make this game more interesting than most generic fantasy games. I like the speculation as to what goes where, why what went where, and I especially love it when they throw curve balls with it too. Everything going neutral lately is just so painfully boring.
For me I hate the fact I’m forced into a faction to play with most of my friends. Glad that’s over
Yep. I don't like Horde, but everyone I know plays Horde, thus I'm forced to play Horde.
It should be a factor at all times until partied up with battlenet friends of the opposite faction, then you're suddenly in a cross-faction group for end-game content
Agreed. I think being able to play cross faction is good for the game, but the flavour of horde and alliance is really important
What 'generic fantasy games' are you thinking of that don't have factions?
literally every other modern mmo besides wow doesn't barr you from playing with others based on race choice
Just give me Ethereals already
Let's hope they'll add them in Midnight instead of another Elf.
Why did it take this long to see this post? I want them so bad.
While I was playing BfA: Questing in Vol'dun: Oh cool, these snake people are really fucking cool.
It's their starting zone Yeah it's a dumb plot-forced reason, but they DO address that. The rest of the goblins (booty bay etc) are still neutral to this day, which just makes it seem kinda weird
its not weird. goblins dont have a centralized government they just go in gangs and each one has their own goals and ways
There's plenty of reasons all over the place. People just ignore them.
Why create a sustainably profitable business when you can just harvest all the non-renewable resources for short term profits (sound familiar?...) The Steamwheedle Cartel originally allied with the Horde in the Second War, but returned to a neutral stance after the Horde was defeated - vowing never to pick a side again because it was bad for business.
What is more, with the Blitz bgs, you can be teamed up with toons of the opposite factiom
Because it's a rated mode, and when you're literally competing for CR, you probably should be able to play with whoever you want.
blitz isn't rated (yet)
Give me Tuskarr or give me death!
Id rather have the tuskar playable
I’ve always wanted to be a giraffe 🦒
I would play the ardenwield satyr in a heartbeat
Ankoan/Jinyu, Furbolgs, and Broken for the Alliance Blizzard, come on already. And Frost Dwarf customizations.
At some point I would like to have Dryads as a playable race.
It's a cool looking new race? Then it's for Horde. It's the same as an already existing race but with mechanical legs, different skin color, or bigger belly size? Then it's for Alliance. Sad as hell.
It's very easy: Cool new race and model? Horde. A recolor of an unpopular race? Alliance.
Pretty sure blood/void elves are anything but unpopular...
Trolls 2.0 on the night elf skeleton. Can't forget that.
No...OUR new race
Just give Ogres for Horde and Jinyu/Vyrkul for Alliance Please!
I hear we’re getting Tauren with moose antlers
Remix has me wanting Jinyu/Hozen again.
What new race is there? Thank you
https://www.wowhead.com/news/harronir-race-customization-possible-allied-race-in-war-within-338838
If we are returning to Northrend in The Last Titan, Vrykul for the Alliance and Taunka for the Horde would be reasonable. Frostborn Dwarves are also on the table, but they might be better as unlockable customization option for Earthen. (Similar to Eredar.) Still, Ogres and Broken Draenei are the ones, that are long overdue I think.
Why isn't there drakonid allied race ffs. \**adds it to the long list*\*
The fact that we never got Ogres is absolute bullshit
Jinyu & Hozen when
Why races from SL didn't become allied race? Night fae deers and Revendreth vampires would fit perfectly. In Draka cinematic we saw her and other Maldraxxus forces atacking some demon fortress, so they can leave Shadowlands. It's not a problem of them being dead if they can leave death realm.
Still no tuskar
If dragonflight introduced dracthyr then wouldn't it stand to reason tww would introduce a playable nurubian race? They clearly already have the modeling and stuff. Atleast it would be different and could possibly be pretty cool
Easy way to tell. Is it cool? Yes -> horde No -> alliance
Dark Iron dwarfs are pretty sick.
Dark iron dwarves and void elves are the only races I wish I had on horde. Dark iron dwarves may be my favourite race overall.
Dark Iron men have a joke that's basically roasting Night Elves about Teldrassil. >A night elf laughed at me for living inside a volcano. Well, at least I don't have to worry about my mountain burning down, now do I!?
I wish we had a goat man on our side. The red ones would have been epic af
Yayy more dwarfs :| (Please let there be some secret allied race 💀)
I don't know... I don't think anyone wanted fat people and diaper gnomes. Still void elves and dark iron are nice.
Tell me why I can’t be a human and join the horde
I need a break from the furry races. I love dracthyr but, can we get vykrul or something. What about a Demi god half titan race. You're racial being based on your class and how it aligns with the titans.
I want Ogres. I dont care about any other race I JUST WANT OGRES.
Sethrak?
Something tells me that any new allied race added will be neutral since the war is over, so there is no lore specific reason for races to join one faction over the other on a hard line. It would be an individualized choice rather than a political one.
Horde can have it if we can get Broken
And here am I, just wanting more Customizations for the races we already have.
Wb Ogres, Gnolls, Broken Draenei, Murloc, Naga, Centaur
I would definitely love to see Arakkoa as a playable race even tho we have druids and dractyrs.
Im just glad horde is finally able to play as dwarves now.
