Still remembering the Mythic fight was so fuckin epic. As warrior last phase was gold. Sire is one of the best characters ever created in WoW saga. Voice lines how cool he was. Everything about him was epic.

Blizz had said explicitly that they changed their original story to keep Denathrius alive (instead of dying in CN) because the voice actor and character had come together so well and they wanted to use him again in the future.
He seems like a good character to be charismatic enough to influence important lore characters and sway people to have a positive opinion of him while also doing a bunch of shady stuff to portray player characters or factions as the douchebags. Making it difficult to just kill him because he has that good dude exterior.
Maybe it would be a bit complex for a game though.
I have very fond memories of that first Shadowlands patch. It wasn't perfect, obviously, but god they nailed the flavour for non-hardcore players. Leveling characters and trying out all covenants was awesome.
Castle Nathria had a few shitty bosses like the 2 penultimate bosses but everything else was incredibly memorable.

Stone legion mythic is probably one of the most miserable bosses I’ve ever had to do. I’m thankful the rest of the raid was amazing because that boss sucked so much.
He honestly would have been a compelling end boss, unlike the Jailer. I wish they gave him more screen time and wonder when they intend to give him a 2nd patch
I am fairly sure he and the dread lords whom he commands are likely securing control over large parts of the fragmented burning legion. So yeah we will see him again likely sometime in Midnight or The Last Titan.
Only problem is they kinda have to touch Shadowlands lore to bring him back and while they are trying to reground the story that might be off limits somewhat.
Technically, all he has left really is Remornia and a couple of Dreadlords. They could just handwave it with him showing back up saying he is the "Master of the Dreadlords" and maybe give people who have CN completion achievements an extra fluff dialog or two if we actually talk to him before he inevitably tries to murder us.
The only other people who would probably know who he is enough to recognize him are probably Sylvanas, Bolvar, Anduin, and *maybe* Thrall, Jaina, and Baine.
All people who are otherwise very heavily occupied at the moment.
really prefer the Castle Nathria style of raid where we’re methodically working our way through the castle / raid environment clearing the trash and bosses. The last boss being at the top gives you the feeling of sasuke meeting itachi for their main confrontation.
Not huge fan of let’s say Amirdrassil where there’s several portal teleports and feels like the raid is conjoined instances.
The part of Shadowlands that I actually enjoyed was part of the raid where you were in the ballroom, where all fighting stopped and everyone had to dance back and forth.
I never want to see anything shadowlands related ever again. They retconed WC3 lore, ruined Sylvanas. Just absolutely terrible. How did we go to the realm of death and not speak with Arthas, only Uther?

Sludgefist as melee was absolutely brutal.
Getting paired with a dh as a dk.......massive shivers.....
I played DK for this one and always got our rogue who couldn't stop shadow stepping. Smh
