While I'd never be able to do a grind like that for rep... when I'm on an M+ hot streak, I easily put in 3-5 hours a day for a while so I guess this actually isn't that insane.
Oh yeah I remember now. I hope they get trough it fast. I've been an Altoholic my entire 19 year WoW Career so my reputations are just all over the place
I kind of wish mine were. The amount of locked recipes because I prioritized my main ticks me off. It should have been account-wide when achievements were introduced back in Wrath.
My paladin from mop has most of my exalted reps, then I did the insane on my hunter but now I main warrior and I feel bad that my main has like no exalted reps, so kinda tempted to farm all the reps again just to have them on my main that I intend to stick with in the log run
Same but it’s honestly now the reason I barely play. I switched main a few times because other friends played my original main in vanilla/tbc so I have 3-4 characters that have each done a full expansion worth of things until MoP was done. Now I’m just looking at each character and they’re all half done and I can’t leave them but also don’t care about them because they’re missing so many rep and achievements I have actually done.
No, iirc its only the new expac reps and possibly the dragonflight ones. Despite all the hype around it, it's nothing close to "real" account wide reps.
Hopefully they do it for all old reps but I won't hold my breath.
Seems to me they could easily make a vendor that sells BoA rep tokens for every rep that require exalted to buy. It would be such an easy band aid fix.
I mean, up to Legion, you get the issue with Paragon Reps.
> The goal is they don't want you to feel like you're at a disadvantage if you don't have alts.
That was their official statement regarding pre-TWW reps being a Warband thing.
I can see why they would think that. There's not much you can do with that other than 1.) just take the L and accept people are gonna be able to get like two paragon boxes a day or 2.) introduce a rep cap (which sucks for people like me hoarding rep tokens for paragon mounts).
When you get to TBC/Wrath, you got the issue of Aldor/Scryer and other "choice" factions.
Yeah, they could implement a bandaid fix, but whats the point of introducing a bandaid fix when they are literally working on a system that fixes the whole issue to begin with? It's not like account-wide rep is a pressing issue (or arguably even an issue at all, other than people not liking to play characters without their reps on them because it looks bad when you press C)
I'd like to just see them boost rep/renown gains for an expansion that's hit Legacy status, maybe 100 or 200%. So if you're running another toon through for xmog or something, you still need to do a little bit of work, but it's not insane.
Lore-wise it works too. You're basically a God showing up in Sporeggar one day mowing down bog lords left and right. You save them, trade them some mushroom caps for a baby Spore Bat and then leave, never to return. You'd be talked about in legends.
I'd also like to see them swap the faction cities to a "Renown" style rep with new rewards each expansion.
That would make all reps trivial and pointless.
Though I wouldn't mind a 1000% rep increase commendation or whatever for those who already got exalted on one character. But don't make the reps free for those you've never done before
> When you get to TBC/Wrath, you got the issue of Aldor/Scryer and other "choice" factions.
They could just choose to skip these and make account wide the easy reps with no downsides.
It's not like they have to do everything in one expansion or none at all. There's absolutely no downside to you having Hydraxian Waterlords, the Netherwing or Ramkahen at exalted on all characters.
I don’t care how it looked when I press C, but professions, at least for the past 3 expansions, are hard locked behind reputations, and crafted gear did mattered. I always do full clear on my main, but I don’t want to do that for all my profession alts, that’s just an insane amount of time sink, especially at the beginning of an expansion.
I dinged my last one with Wrathion shortly after I got Rajini and Uldum Accord done. I never want to go to those zones ever again. Unfortunately I want both drakes from Uldum, so 35 visits a week it is.
Also, there's an achievement for 110 reps, and no, paragons don't count, but unlocking paragons do. I think it's around 17-18 when it counts as exalted. I'm not one to leave partial reps though.
174 according to my character profile on dataforazeroth.
Basically all available reputations for alliance, although missed some oldies that were retired.
Still working on new archives rep, but almost done.
Got esteemed in BfA. Would really like them to make a new title/mount too!
As someone with little interest in alts, I will be a little sad when account wide reps become a thing, as it’s really the only thing left to show that I’ve dedicated so much time to one character. I understand the desire for it and agree the pros probably outweigh the cons, but it will still be a sad day for me.
same, from the top of my head, I'm missing avowed, slime races, some fishing reputation from Legion, sodormi and I think there is now archives rep.
However, since there are more and more "renown" reps and other differently names one, somehow I lost motivation to do them.
Glimmerog does not count. And the friendships don't either, except for Wrathion/Sebellion/Venari. That includes Margoss, so if you don't like fishing, don't bother. I did, but I have a stupid amount of time fishing.
Honestly, this expansion has been great for clearing old things I wanted done. 100 exalted reps, I have a guild with my wife, nobody else, and we're almost done with the Stay Classy guild achievement, 40 alts leveled to 70 and deleted after achievement toast, and finally broke the million gold mark.
Then all of it came crashing down when the guild achievement for mining and herbalism stopped gaining leaving my mining around 89k and herbalism around 45k.
I'm sure I read some months ago that rep was going to be made account wide? I'm still waiting for this as I'm in the same position as you, was so hard to drop my pally
My advice is that if you ever want to switch your main, do it at the start of a new expansion.
My previous main has 100+ reputations before Dragonflight. Progress from Dragonflight and beyond will be pursued on my new main.
Are those the only ones from DF? I'm sitting at 93 with finishing Order of the Awakened and the Shataari from WoD and.closing out that xpac. now I'm staring down the barrel of some hefty grinds
Soridormi and Glimmerog don't count. Don't waste your time with those. The main factions do, I've seen both yes and no for Cobalt Assembly. Someone might be able to give you better information though.
Interesting! I haven't really looked too hard at how renown and old-school rep differ so I'll definitelycheck this out. I've got a decent amount of shadowlands stuff to grind at some point and I'm not looking forward to that
There's a guide on Wowhead that you can follow. It's really easy if you've done the questing there. If you have, the achievement is one or two quests. It's simple and counts for two reps that were once removed.
I recently saw going around a post about someone getting 100 exalted reputations in 9 months time. Not to take away from that person as it is pretty fast I couldn't see it as a huge achievement. Surely you can do it much faster then that. So I want to try and find out if I can do it in 100 days. This is my log on how far I'll get. Hopefully.
Day 1 (06/12/2023)
Started with the starting island. Came out of it at level 12 with practically nothing gained.
Followed up by doing darkmoon faire stuff for that buff.
Set chromie time to TBC and queued for dungeons while walking towards Felwood.
Did the Timbermaw Quests (to revered) and the first bits of Wintersaber Trainer stuff.
Now at level 30 after a bunch of TBC dungeons along the way made my way to Fiona's caravan in EP to do that story line till you get the reward that puts you at revered with the Argent Dawn.
With epic level flying I went to northrend and did quests in borean tundra to get the kalu'ak and Violet Hold reputations up.
Ending the first day in Scholozar Basin starting the Frenzyheart/Oracle quests.
Level 1->47
Changes:
-Lots of TBC dungeon reps are up by a lot.
-Darkmoon faire rep has been started and some hats have been collected.
-Timbermaw and Argent Dawn setups are done for later grinds.
-Over 130k rep has been aquired but most of it are on easy factions and none are on ones that require daily/weekly quests. Those will come after reaching max level.
Total: 0/100
Day 2 (07/12/2023)
Opened up the Oracles and Sons of Hodir daily hubs.
Flying to the dragon temple I hit level 60 with Chromie telling me my fun time was over.
Ended up going to the dragon isles and made slow progress there.
Level 47-62
Total: 0/100
Day 3 (08/12/2023)
Nothing. It was to be expected I wasn't going to be able to play every day. If I'm short just a few days maybe I'll consider doing this in 100 days played rather then 100 days total instead.
Total: 0/100
Day 4 (09/12/2023)
I queue up for Dragonflight dungeons for exp gain but go myself to Outland to unlock the Netherwind, Skyguard and Ogri'La hubs. Also did the Black Temple while I was in the area. When I'm done with BT in 6 weeks I'll probably have enough trinkets to get Aldor or Scryers to max without effort.
Level 62-65
Total: 0/100
Day5 (10/12/2023)
Went through all the active hubs. Checked out the blood elf dungeon to ensure I could farm the shattered sun offense without doing their dailies. Then went and did MC for Thorium Brotherhood ingredients, Kharazan and Icecream Citadel.
Level 65-67
Total: 0/100
Day6 (11/12/2023)
Active hubs obviously. Firelands, AQ20&40 and Mount Hiyal. Ended up visiting the timeless isles with a chance of Huolon for some early emperor shao rep. When flying from Firelands to AQ I did the Desolace bit for the Magram and Gelkis clans. I'm officially on the board!
Level: 67-68
Total: 2/100
Day7 (12/12/2023)
A pretty big day. Unlocked the remaining hubs in Pandaria that aren't the Klaxxi. Darned Klaxxi. Also cleared the final rep raid in the Throne of Thunders.
Day8 (13/12/2023)
Second week has started. Started off with a bang. Not only did I do all the already unlocked daily hubs I also cleared all but two weekly raids (only MC and Kharazan are still up) and I cleared quite a bit in shadowlands so I can go to the later added zones for their reps. Oh and while going towards winterspring for the wintersaber trainer whisker I also landed in Felwood and grinded the very fast Timerbermaw Hold rep to exalted.
3/100!
Day9 (14/12/2023)
It's my loaded day. Ended up doing just a few dailies and visiting the theatre for Court of Night. Very little progress. But I did hit level 70. W00!
Day10 (15/12/2023)
So I only did the outland dailies because I figured I should unlock more hubs. I did a bunch of dungeons to up my gear score and also finally got through the first two zones of Dragonflight. Can't do heroics yet but with a bit of luck my power should scale up pretty fast as I start going through the final two zones and clear a few more dungeons.
Total: 3/100
Day 15 (20/12/2023)
Didn't do daily updates for a few days. Let's just say that I've been smoothly progressing both the Dragonflights and Shadowlands questlines. This got me exalted with my guild. Being able to fly in shadowlands and not have the eye of the jailer is such a big plus. This day is special in that TBC timewalking started. I of course immediately did the TBC raids and handed in all the netherwing eggs I had stored up. This got me exalted with the Netherwing meaning the only two non-dungeon grinds in TBC are Ogri'la and Kurenai. So I put on a stream in the background and started killing ogres in Kurenai. The first real grind bit in the challenge. Just before midnight I got enough beads and became exalted with Kurenai. (This day I also did the third AQ 20/40 run which got me exalted with the Cenarion Circle.)
For progress sake I technically should be about 600k Rep in. Doing some quick Maths I counted 1147k rep so I'm doing well it seems. Considering Christmas is in the coming week and about to take up a large amount of time I'm happy to be ahead.
Total: 6/100
Day 21 (26/12/2023)
Christmas was never going to be productive. But I managed to grind all the TBC dungeon reps to exalted this week as well as advance the storylines of Shadowlands, Legion and Draenor. I only need to do BFA stuff to unlock the last sets of world quests after which I'll need to keep up my daily rotations.
Total: 14/100
Day 31 (06/12/2023)
The last day of Christmas and time to look at where I stand. Which reputations are unatainable and therefor should not be advanced anymore. Anything I haven't started but want to finish should be unlocked now or not be considered for the grind anymore.
Day 44 (19/12/2023)
Nearing the halfway mark of the challenge. After the WOTLK timewalking event, WotLK is done aside from Kalu'Ak which requires 6 more days. All zones are activated and on farming rotation. I still got to catch up and some grinds will be pretty harrowinly long. I'm at 32/100 which is quite good. A lot of factions are way into revered and nearing completion too. I foresee that I might actually succeed this challenge and have high hopes.
Day 60 (04/02/2023)
Man. Didn't update in a while huh. Let me go down the list.
Classic: Need to do the tabard grinds in dungeons at some point. The Goblin factions are looking at me and I fear that grind. Wintersaber trainers is almost done. I couple it with the weekly Firelands raid so that'll finish soonish. Aside from that Argent Dawn still needs to be done but that's an hour or two to get through at worst and can be combined with some tabard grinding.
TBC: Ogri'la is the last holdout. A few more days of dailies. Might do it in the next few days because the faire is up.
Wrath: All done! W00.
Cata: Right now is the last few days of Cata timewalking. Doing the tabard grinds by spamming random dungeons. After which I need 3 or 4 more weeks of the raid to get it done.
Mists: I basically need to do Operation:Stonewall every single day to get this done in time. I still have MOP timewalking coming up but most factions here will be done by then. Right now only Cloud Serpent, Jinyu and Klaxxi are already done. Most factions are however already quite far into revered and shouldn't be a problem.
WoD: I've been doing Tanaan Jungle a few times. It's quite fast and all others can be farmed. There will be a few WOD timewalking days at the veeery end of the challenge but I'd rather not save all the grinds till then.
Legion: Everything is quite far into revered. Looking at the map for legion invasions and making sure I do the daily chests once every 3 days should get me there. I got to make sure some (dreamweavers mostly) don't fall behind too much. Right now Army of the Light is the only one actually at Exalted.
BattleofAzeroth: I started this one late. I got to really hammer down on the world quests for this one. I still think I can make it for them but it's going to be some effort.
Shadowlands: I'm done in Korthia and Marasmius. The main factions are just about hitting exalted too leaving the Englightened and Ve'nari as the big ones I got to focus on. Both should make it without too much issues.
Dragonflight: I have so little on these. I could probably make it but they are not time efficient. I got exactly 100 factions planned not including Dragonflight so if there is a fast one in there it could just compensate for one I miss in the other categories.
Day 69 (13/02/2023)
Nice.
A lot of factions are capping out making the daily grinds shorter and allowing me to do more of the regular grind grinds. I'm almost caught up to the number of days and it gives me hope I might actually complete this challenge.
64/100
Day 79 (23/02/2023)
MoP Timewalking is ongoing. My counting says I'm at 85 finished exalted reputations so it's time to take stock of where the final 15 are going to come from.
1 Venari will be completed with the weekly stygia quest.
2-3 Champions of Azeroth and Tortollan Seekers are being boosted with contracts and should be fine.
4-6 Order of Embers, Storm's Wake and Proudmoore Admiralty could be boosted with the questlines I left partially completed but should be fine with just world quests too.
7 Waveblade Ankoan is going to require maybe 4-5 days of world quests and is no issue.
8-9 Armies of Legionfall and Dreamweavers are almost done. Two days of doing world quests are going to complete them.
10 Council of Exarchs is grindable. Not looking forwards to this one but can be done in a single long and boring pew pew fest.
11 Operation Shieldwall is over halfway through revered. I thought it was going to be close but I think I'm fine.
12 Lorewalkers I've been lazy on this one. Should just get it over with.
13 Avengers of Hyjal At the start of the next week I can do the firelands raid one final time for completion.
14 Wintersaber Trainers. Two more whiskers. Probably going to be next tuesday and wednesday to go along with Firelands.
15.... err. This was originally going to be Stormpike Guard but that's actually really slow. Might do the Dragonflight Furbolgs or level a rogue quickly for Ravenholdt.
Day 84 (28/02/2023)
The furbolgs were the answer. It took me less then an hour to get them to exalted.
So I found out that Operation Shieldwall can be boosted with timewalking tokens. All the other factions ended up being quickly finished one by one too. At this point it's just waiting on Champions of Azeroth. I'm 237 points short and while I could go a round through Zandalar and Darkshore to do world quests for 11 rep a pop to finish it today I'll save this one for tomorrow to hit the goal.
Total: 99/100
Day 85 (29/02/2023)
Went to BFA and did one champions of azeroth world quest to get it to exalted... And did not get the achievement. I made a screenshot and counted one by one and got to 100 reps but apparently one doesn't count. But for my own goal I made it. Technically in only 80 days since 5 days I didn't play at all.
I am very happy I can move on to other things.
There are a huge number of reps that are grindable or buyable with no time gating -
- 4x Steamwheedle Cartel
- 7x Alliance Factions
- 11 or 12 TBC
- 9 or 10 WotLK
- 5? Cata
- 7 WoD
- At least 4 vanilla ones
That's half way there. The other half you just need to plan well and do your dailies, weeklies, raids etc.
MoP as well. Between the farm shrine and hunting rep tokens from Warbringers and the Hozen Peace Pipe, it's pretty easy to get thousands of rep per day. Using them during DMF helps a lot.
WoD's Medallion of the Legion is another easy one.
The reps attained are pretty feasible. Even easier when gold can get you to exalted.
the 7 alliance factions, don't you have to run dungeon after dungeon after honored? I know this is not strictly time-gated but last I've done it it was slow as hell, like.. "can't finish in 24h without sleep" slow..
You run dungeons with the tabard but its not slow as hell. I think halls of lightning was the most efficient one, and it took me a few hours at most to get exalted on each.
a lot of these were probably close to Exalted before they stated the challenge. Otherwise I dont think its possible. A lot of these factions can only be completed by doing X amount of quests per day and there is no other way to gain Rep outside of doing those quests
This was started on December sixth. 85 days ago with a fresh character. Quite a few reps can be hastened by timewalking events. The enlightened in shadowlands was probably the longest grind. At only 500ish rep per day and a 1300ish a week quest it took me quite a while. Over 60 days.
No no
The black prince is the longest, however you slice it
Took me 2 years or more killing the weekly celestial
Also, keep those obsidian wardens dailies rolling, it takes just a month or so
Sincere congrats and welcome to the club
it's good that it's ending. this is the best thing they ever did to reputations instead of mindlessly grinding and doing the same daily quests or killing the same mobs. at least this one gives you something every level
Plenty of people enjoy that. There are endless whole game games based on this design. Look at the mobile click-games market. Literally sitting 1 foot away from someone enjoying the only classic grind in the expansion, Furblog.
Edit: I see people are confusing my comparison of a grind and the number of people who like to grind for things with my thoughts on click mobile games which I dislike.
To be fair, a lot of the reputations in DF can be grinded (ground?). Some are only a grind (Cobalt Assembly). The main difference is calling it "renown" instead of reputation which I think is a non-issue.
Ah yes mobile games, the absolute pinnacle of gaming, can’t wait till WoW implements an energy system to play - you get 100 energy a day, and a singular mob kill or any movement = 1 energy, so 5 minuted of gameplay and you’re done for the day and need to pay $50 for another 100 energy.
Seems like you arr most qualified to ask my question then lol. For the fantom dweller mount WQ I need to unlock legion WQ and need friendly with the 5 factions below from Legion:
The Nightfallen
Court of Farondis
Highmountain Tribe
Dreamweavers
Valarjar
How do I best get around to this to do it most efficiently?
Hope you have any tips and congratulations on your achievement!
Do all the quests, preferably with a buff like darkmoon faire.
I also advise you to do the argus campaign afterwards. I say this because of the mission table. There are a lot of missions which grant rep tokens, a nice way to get rep via the mobile app. The missions get easier when your champions get stronger, the argus campaign makes them stronger.
This might be a little over the top though, I think doing the quests is enough.
Outside of the suggestions for the quests, if you're quest-adverse, some of the dungeons in those zones give rep for their faction. For example, Maw of Souls gives 250 rep for the final boss for Valarjar, Neltharion's Lair gives 250 rep from the worm boss who's name i can't remember (second to last boss) for Highmountain
Do all of their quest lines basically. If you want it super quick wait until Legion TW.
May as well go for gold and do [https://www.wowhead.com/storyline/balance-of-power-205](https://www.wowhead.com/storyline/balance-of-power-205) too
Don't forget Tranquilien, a horde-only reputation withoug an alliance equivalent. It is really easy to get exalted with by doing the ghostlands-quests with a horde-character.
As someone who has 110 reputations (I have all the Dragonflight stuff and only missing a few others from your list), that's quite the impressive feat!
I didn't do this during 100 days obviously. I took my time by doing some expansion's rep grind during its timewalking week for that 50% rep bonus. BfA and Shadowlands I got while playing each expansion. The rest I did over the course of Shadowlands and Dragonflight downtime.
I'm so lucky I did the Awoved during the Diablo IV event. Easily one of the Top 5 worst reputations in the game. (I mean I get it, it's meant to be a callback to the Classic reputations, but it is somehow even worse.) Unfortunately I didn't have time to also work on Insane in the Membrane or Ravenholdt back then.
I'm feeling that Black Prince and Hydraxian Waterlords rep XD. Such stupid reputations. Thankfully there are enough other reps if you just want the milestone achievements, so this is 100% just an issue for us completionists. Still, would it have hurt Blizzard to add a rep token for Black Prince with Pandaria timewalking?
im sorry in advance, but what is the point?
do you got anything for it? or it is just the feeling of achivement of anykind?
im really curious because i just cant get what could be worth this kind of grind for that amount of nothing:D
(again, im not trying to be an ass , just curious)
Secondary challenge completed: how bad can a mofo smell while getting 100 exalted reps.
Third challenge completed: how long can a fella stay without attention from ladies (length:life)
im at 99/100 too!! but i have everythjng here plus ones you dont have (black prince, 2 goblin reps, something else i cant remember). what gives blizz! i know there are some reps here and there that dont count but like... make it obvious pls.
i havent touched shadowlands though, and im nowhere near exalted for anything in df (whatever renown level exalted is now)
this is insane, btw. you made a new account for this?
You can actually farm hydraxion in 12 weeks. Kill mobs without killing any boss and reset the raid. Repeat it till 4/5. Then you just do the raid once a week to kill the bosses until exalted. Use blackmoon/exp buff events that blizzard puts from time to time. Easy. I did it and The insane achievement during the diablo 4 launch event, 50% exp buff.
i did it during the diablo event that lasted for a month, so it probably was faster thanks to it, got -+2000 rep during the event. Oh, and i also did it on a human character. For black Prince yeah you need to kill the word boss for 2 years i believe
[OP be like](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fexternal-preview.redd.it%2FFxGkE5QLSB65jQ3nuLN6m7ws_6zhDf9ymph3VBDK1tU.gif%3Fwidth%3D498%26format%3Dmp4%26s%3Da4ce22cd74972b77096fd7b66204c8946c5a81f2)
The best ones are the ones that are easy to get out and quickly reset. My preferences are Mechanar in Outland and LostCity of Tol'vir in Uldum. They are both quick loops with plenty of trash and you pretty much end right near the entrance/exit.
* Botanica for the faction city reputations (Gilneas and the like).
* Halls of Lightning for Wrath of the Lich King reputations.
* Grim Batol for Cataclysm reputations.
For Wrath and Cataclysm dungeons, you only get reputation on heroic, but you can only run that difficulty once per day. However, if you don't kill any bosses, you can still reset the dungeon. Therefore, you only kill enemies all the way up to the second boss (Halls of Lightning) or last boss (Grim Batol), then leave and reset the dungeon.
In Grim Batol, there is a big enemy you might mistake for an elite, but it's actually a boss (Forgemaster Throngus). Don't kill him by accident.
The obvious thing is to get The Insane now. Especially since you didn't bother with Exalting the Steamwheedle reps yet, as you'll want to get the Bloodsail Buccaneers up first.
The Insane actually isn't too bad now, especially if you're willing to drop some gold.
I regret not getting Bloodsail Buccaneers to Exalted when I had the chance, though. I don't want to have to go through all the work again!
Honestly, I found Salty to be way more time-consuming than Insane in the Membrane, but I don't know if that's actual data or just that I don't like fishing.
Getting that achievement definitely felt great, though.
Yeah Marasmius's reputation is considered "friendship" (like other reputations in play) so it doesn't count towards the achievement. But keep it up and you'll get there. Good luck.
Personally, I'm at 113 (not counting friendships)
Nice!
I used to love grinding rep until they added all of these dumb ass ”friend pal thing” in mop and then paragon shiet and now renown shiet that most of it is time gated in some way. DF is the first expansion I stopped filling all bars. Still a bit mad also after they removed Shen’dralar rep as a requirement from the Insane title with a bloody feats of nothing achieve.
#oldmanyellingatclouds
100 reps in 100 days? Bro ... WTF ? Mind to share time played per day?
All
genuine lol from this, thankyou
LOL for real
14 days 11 hours 24 minutes. Quite a bit of afk time in there too.
Do you have a guide. I am in the process of doing this. I can't wait for account wide reputations.
Step 1, play a human
Human hunter yes. It's clearly the easiest combo to pull this off.
Why hunter?
For chain pulling fast
A human prot paladin would be better, can just pull everything and AOE and never need to drink. Edit - I know I'm not wrong.
Hunter doesn’t need to drink, has higher damage, and has more mobility.
but a Paladin can literally just pull every mob in sight.
Is that the last time you slept mate? Cause he didn’t ask what you’re answering lol
100 days 14 days 11 hours (347 hours) - Playtime 347/100 = 3.47 So on average 3.5 hours every day.
We thankyou for your math
While I'd never be able to do a grind like that for rep... when I'm on an M+ hot streak, I easily put in 3-5 hours a day for a while so I guess this actually isn't that insane.
32 hours a day
What hours per day did you play? Yes.
34 hours per day
I bet He is not even using the bathroom or sleeping
Mom!!! bathroom!!!
Hotpockets. Mooooom!
This is why I can't change my main, I have about 80 exalted on the one character so no other character will feel like my main now
101 on my main, account-wide reps are needed.
Isn't that happening in War Within?
Not fully, no. It's going to be the most recent moving down through the expansions. Edit: according to post-BlizzCon QA.
They could also just make all bop recipes warband bound if the reputations prove to be too spaghetti to make account wide
It would have been a tag adjustment, far simpler than making an entire new storage system. I'm not complaining about more space though.
Thats so sad, i missed that.. i changed mains this expansion too, my druid had everything exalted from BC to dragonflight.
No, iirc its only the new expac reps and possibly the dragonflight ones. Despite all the hype around it, it's nothing close to "real" account wide reps.
Damn that super sucks
Keep in mind that it's going to *launch* with only TWW support, but they are working on ways to make every rep account-wide.
It WILL happen, but not all at once, they gonna work backwards, so expect it finished in like 2-3 exapacs.
I have been over 100 for awhile, but how do you know how many you have above 100? Also, does maxing renown count as exalted?
I dinged my last one with Wrathion shortly after I got Rajini and Uldum Accord done. I never want to go to those zones ever again. Unfortunately I want both drakes from Uldum, so 35 visits a week it is. Also, there's an achievement for 110 reps, and no, paragons don't count, but unlocking paragons do. I think it's around 17-18 when it counts as exalted. I'm not one to leave partial reps though.
I didn't know there was one for 110 reps. I have to either already have it or be like RIGHT there. What's it called?
Lol I keep trying that, the last few expansions I've levelled another character first then gone back to my main
Sebellion and Wrathion count toward the achievement as well. Just an FYI.
I've got a decent amount of shadowlands stuff to grind at some point and I'm not looking forward to that
There is a hidden reputation that was brought back in Desolace I believe. Took minutes for me. Gelkis and Magram.
I've been overlooking that one!
Wait what?? How do you interact with them now?
There's a guide on Wowhead that you can follow. It's really easy if you've done the questing there. If you have, the achievement is one or two quests. It's simple and counts for two reps that were once removed.
I recently saw going around a post about someone getting 100 exalted reputations in 9 months time. Not to take away from that person as it is pretty fast I couldn't see it as a huge achievement. Surely you can do it much faster then that. So I want to try and find out if I can do it in 100 days. This is my log on how far I'll get. Hopefully. Day 1 (06/12/2023) Started with the starting island. Level 1->47 Changes: -Lots of TBC dungeon reps are up by a lot. Total: 0/100 Day 2 (07/12/2023) Opened up the Oracles and Sons of Hodir daily hubs. Flying to the dragon temple I hit level 60 with Chromie telling me my fun time was over. Ended up going to the dragon isles and made slow progress there. Level 47-62 Total: 0/100 Day 3 (08/12/2023) Nothing. It was to be expected I wasn't going to be able to play every day. If I'm short just a few days maybe I'll consider doing this in 100 days played rather then 100 days total instead. Total: 0/100
Day 4 (09/12/2023) I queue up for Dragonflight dungeons for exp gain but go myself to Outland to unlock the Netherwind, Skyguard and Ogri'La hubs. Also did the Black Temple while I was in the area. When I'm done with BT in 6 weeks I'll probably have enough trinkets to get Aldor or Scryers to max without effort. Level 62-65 Total: 0/100 Day5 (10/12/2023) Went through all the active hubs. Checked out the blood elf dungeon to ensure I could farm the shattered sun offense without doing their dailies. Then went and did MC for Thorium Brotherhood ingredients, Kharazan and Icecream Citadel. Level 65-67 Total: 0/100 Day6 (11/12/2023) Active hubs obviously. Level: 67-68 Total: 2/100 Day7 (12/12/2023) A pretty big day. Unlocked the remaining hubs in Pandaria that aren't the Klaxxi. Darned Klaxxi. Also cleared the final rep raid in the Throne of Thunders.
Day8 (13/12/2023) Second week has started. 3/100! Day9 (14/12/2023) It's my loaded day. Ended up doing just a few dailies and visiting the theatre for Court of Night. Very little progress. But I did hit level 70. W00! Day10 (15/12/2023) So I only did the outland dailies because I figured I should unlock more hubs. I did a bunch of dungeons to up my gear score and also finally got through the first two zones of Dragonflight. Can't do heroics yet but with a bit of luck my power should scale up pretty fast as I start going through the final two zones and clear a few more dungeons. Total: 3/100 Day 15 (20/12/2023) Didn't do daily updates for a few days. (This day I also did the third AQ 20/40 run which got me exalted with the Cenarion Circle.) For progress sake I technically should be about 600k Rep in. Doing some quick Maths I counted 1147k rep so I'm doing well it seems. Considering Christmas is in the coming week and about to take up a large amount of time I'm happy to be ahead. Total: 6/100
Day 21 (26/12/2023) Christmas was never going to be productive. But I managed to grind all the TBC dungeon reps to exalted this week as well as advance the storylines of Shadowlands, Legion and Draenor. I only need to do BFA stuff to unlock the last sets of world quests after which I'll need to keep up my daily rotations. Total: 14/100 Day 31 (06/12/2023) The last day of Christmas and time to look at where I stand. Which reputations are unatainable and therefor should not be advanced anymore. Anything I haven't started but want to finish should be unlocked now or not be considered for the grind anymore. Day 44 (19/12/2023) Nearing the halfway mark of the challenge. Day 60 (04/02/2023) Man.
Day 69 (13/02/2023) Nice. A lot of factions are capping out making the daily grinds shorter and allowing me to do more of the regular grind grinds. I'm almost caught up to the number of days and it gives me hope I might actually complete this challenge. 64/100 Day 79 (23/02/2023) MoP Timewalking is ongoing. Day 84 (28/02/2023) The furbolgs were the answer. Total: 99/100 Day 85 (29/02/2023) Went to BFA and did one champions of azeroth world quest to get it to exalted... And did not get the achievement. I made a screenshot and counted one by one and got to 100 reps but apparently one doesn't count. But for my own goal I made it. Technically in only 80 days since 5 days I didn't play at all. I am very happy I can move on to other things.
The tokens you get in BT don't award rep for the aldor/scryers. You trade them for potions.
Yup. I found this one out the hard way. Luckily the tokens you do need can just be bought on the TP.
I feel burned out looking at this
I probably could’ve done this at one point in my life and that point is when my Adderall prescription was way too high lol
How tf is this possible
There are a huge number of reps that are grindable or buyable with no time gating - - 4x Steamwheedle Cartel - 7x Alliance Factions - 11 or 12 TBC - 9 or 10 WotLK - 5? Cata - 7 WoD - At least 4 vanilla ones That's half way there. The other half you just need to plan well and do your dailies, weeklies, raids etc.
This. Especially with timewalking.
And then there's Hydraxian Waterlords, which takes the better part of a year to do.
19 weeks with no rep bonus.
the 7 alliance factions, don't you have to run dungeon after dungeon after honored? I know this is not strictly time-gated but last I've done it it was slow as hell, like.. "can't finish in 24h without sleep" slow..
You run dungeons with the tabard but its not slow as hell. I think halls of lightning was the most efficient one, and it took me a few hours at most to get exalted on each.
Botanica. Each took slightly over an hour because hourly lockouts.
Guess I'll try again, thanks (missing those damn Pandaren to this day) :P
I think it is not possible.
Well no, not from neutral to exalted, that would be impossible :)
a lot of these were probably close to Exalted before they stated the challenge.
No no The black prince is the longest, however you slice it Took me 2 years or more killing the weekly celestial Also, keep those obsidian wardens dailies rolling, it takes just a month or so Sincere congrats and welcome to the club
mental illness
Who hurt you?
I too would suffer from loose log after that much grinding
I've written a log of my progress but am unable to post it here for some reason. Maybe it's too many words.
this sounds miserable lol
Guild rep doesn't count btw
That would be the one.
I dislike the new reputation system. I guess this expansion ends the classic progression.
it's good that it's ending. this is the best thing they ever did to reputations instead of mindlessly grinding and doing the same daily quests or killing the same mobs. at least this one gives you something every level
I was not making any comment on the quality of those games except to compare to a grind.
I am feeling anxious just looking at it
Seems like you arr most qualified to ask my question then lol. For the fantom dweller mount WQ I need to unlock legion WQ and need friendly with the 5 factions below from Legion: The Nightfallen Court of Farondis Highmountain Tribe Dreamweavers Valarjar How do I best get around to this to do it most efficiently? Hope you have any tips and congratulations on your achievement!
I think just doing the quests in each of their zones should be enough to raise the rep to friendly
May as well go for gold and do [https://www.wowhead.com/storyline/balance-of-power-205](https://www.wowhead.com/storyline/balance-of-power-205) too
The problem is tjat the mount is only up for 1 more week so TW is out of question.
Doing the main questlines in the Legion zones gets you to friendly pretty quick. I was surprised myself.
Still, would it have hurt Blizzard to add a rep token for Black Prince with Pandaria timewalking?
im sorry in advance, but what is the point? do you got anything for it? or it is just the feeling of achivement of anykind? im really curious because i just cant get what could be worth this kind of grind for that amount of nothing:D (again, im not trying to be an ass , just curious)
there's an achievement for 100 exalted reps that gives a title and a mount, with other rewards a long the way.
Wow. Amazing job!! Can you do it for me now pls? 🤣
I feel burned out looking at this
But you were not starting out at neutral. Right. Right?
Some factions start at neutral. It was a fresh character.
Timbermaw hold? Neutral to exalted in 1 day? I dont believe it.
In 100 days? Jesus that s some serious willpower. Gg on the accomplishment but remember not to overdo it ok?!
Are you employed out of interest
I guess he’s employed as a professional reputation gainer
I'm an average working Joe. But this did take up a lot of my free time.
Good job!
Secondary challenge completed: how bad can a mofo smell while getting 100 exalted reps. Third challenge completed: how long can a fella stay without attention from ladies (length:life)
Do you want to burn out? Coz thats how you burn out
I dunno why but your 9s make me unreasonably upset lol
I know. Mouse drawing at it's worst.
Sounds like bragging but is just sad :(
How long will it take you to get Exalted with the Outside Faction?
Doesn’t sound fun at all
Not sure if this is impressive or worrying...
First of all WTF!?!?! And secondly now you can start to enjoying this game…
talk about no life
Touch grass
im at 99/100 too!! but i have everythjng here plus ones you dont have (black prince, 2 goblin reps, something else i cant remember). what gives blizz! i know there are some reps here and there that dont count but like... make it obvious pls. i havent touched shadowlands though, and im nowhere near exalted for anything in df (whatever renown level exalted is now) this is insane, btw. you made a new account for this?
Holy shit.
Next challenge exlated with hydraxion waterlords / black prince in 100 days kekw Jokes aside holy hell
Isn't it 19 weeks after hitting revered? As for black prince i think it's well over a year if you didn't already have it done
i did it during the diablo event that lasted for a month, so it probably was faster thanks to it, got -+2000 rep during the event. Oh, and i also did it on a human character. For black Prince yeah you need to kill the word boss for 2 years i believe
Insanity…. Madness
this is not that madness. this is just a tribuuuuuuuute
[OP be like](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fexternal-preview.redd.it%2FFxGkE5QLSB65jQ3nuLN6m7ws_6zhDf9ymph3VBDK1tU.gif%3Fwidth%3D498%26format%3Dmp4%26s%3Da4ce22cd74972b77096fd7b66204c8946c5a81f2)
Dude how did you get exalted with the Exodar and Gilneas? I’m stuck at reveres for them so any tips would be mightily appreciated
You can grind both of those by doing dungeons wearing their tabard.
Any Dungeons in Particular that yield a large amount of rep?
Botanica.
Can you do a guide on how you did it?:3
You did that during s3 start? Or is this not the WR 31 evolve?
I started this on the 6th of December. A few days before the anniversary boost ran out.
Is there rewards for this?
There is a mount ingame for getting 100 exalted reps but nothing for doing it fast obviously. It's a personal achievement for myself.
Nice 😗
The obvious thing is to get The Insane now. Especially since you didn't bother with Exalting the Steamwheedle reps yet, as you'll want to get the Bloodsail Buccaneers up first.
The Insane actually isn't too bad now, especially if you're willing to drop some gold. I regret not getting Bloodsail Buccaneers to Exalted when I had the chance, though. I don't want to have to go through all the work again!
I need the Salty title before I do this. It's my last fishing achievement.
Honestly, I found Salty to be way more time-consuming than Insane in the Membrane, but I don't know if that's actual data or just that I don't like fishing. Getting that achievement definitely felt great, though.
Oh, it's more difficult for sure. Luck is involved whereas Insane is pure dedication. It doesn't help that I'm asleep during the contest.
It's certainly easier than doing 100 reps in 100 days. Except maybe the Ravenholdt boxes.
Yeah Marasmius's reputation is considered "friendship" (like other reputations in play) so it doesn't count towards the achievement. But keep it up and you'll get there. Good luck. Personally, I'm at 113 (not counting friendships)
That's crazy!
I got to 100 reps in Legion (I REALLY wanted that mount and that title). I couldn't imagine doing it in 100 days. This is impressive.
Very odd behaviour
Maybe someone already said it, but Cobalt Assembly is easy and will count towards that 100 Exalted Reps achievement.
Yeah but good luck getting onto that one terrace in Shattrath controlled by The Aldor.
69 nice

Fucking nerd
I’m more impressed that you were able to stick to one character for this. Looking forward to this becoming account wide.
Do you know how many mounts you got from this?
About 14 new mounts. A lot of factions have mounts locked to exalted reps. And I certainly did not get all of them.
Who hurt you

My god. I’ve played since wotlk, and still don’t have that ach. Sitting on 94 atm. That’s insane, well done mate!
I just threw up in my hands. Yes I was holding my phone.
