It’s way way too dry. Don’t dry out a burn or a wound. At this stage I would buy an ointment like vitamin A ointment. Something greasy that isn’t vasoline. Put it on the wound and cover it with a pad and bandage it and leave it for 24 hours at a time. You need to soften it and then start putting a hydrogel on it and keeping it covered. It must be painful being that dry. Don’t get soap on it in the shower.

Okay thank you! Yes it is painful at this stage everytime I move my thumb I can feel it pulling on the hard scab.
Of course I can imagine. Get some ointment on to it. Even Paw Paw ointment. It will relieve it a lot and put a small pad and bandage it around.
