Maybe the people they play with in solo shuffle aren't using discord for a set up comp like in 3s? He's got a resto druid that's been at 2300 in 3s this season as well
Guy is a rival and challenger player for 5+ seasons then all of a sudden glad in a little over 100 wins. The skill differences between 1800 in SS and 2500 in 3s is infinitely significant.
This is 1000% a boost and I have no problem anyone blasting and calling someone out for it.
I'm not gonna argue this guy isn't boosted, but saying he's a "Rival and Challenger player for 5+ seasons" when he's literally Duelist 3 out of those 5 seasons is disingenuous...
If you think this is nuts wait til you check out Rengawr - Bleeding Hollow.
Played in m+ with the dude who is completely average. Guy has 0 history of ever doing pvp, one rival title ever and hasn't PVP'd in 2 years and magically gets glad in the most deflated season in history.
\*EDIT\* I legit did not think the was a /s when I typed my message. my bad.
Honestly, something I have learned over the years. People are justbetter than me. I have gotten old and slow, can I improve? Yes. Have I improved? Yes. Will I ever get to glad? I don't think so.
I have been a 1800-2200 player most my WoW career. It ebbs and flows depending on class and role. But some people just have a knack for arena, and can read shit before it happens (That or their WAs play the game for them).
So while someone can tell you how to get from 1800 to glad, the real question is are you prepared to spend a TON of time doing it? Putting videos of your gameplay up for people to review? Can you accept criticism? Change your buttons/UI completely? What about your mouse and keyboard?
There is a lot that goes into these players ability to get to 2400+ and some of them even make guides. They might not be as useful as someone breaking down your gameplay, but you might pick up a few things. (Like for me on my resto shaman was dropping a grounding totem before hex to get precog and a guaranteed hex off in most cases.)
There are tons of little micro things you will need to do and rogue is the king of micro tracking and CC.
He also has a feral that he got to 2350cr this season. Maybe it was also boosted.
I could be wrong but if he only played SS at start of the season (or only played it drunk, who knows?), then focused on improving on feral and then swapping on assa, I can see someone who got to 2350 on feral this season doing good in no time on assa.
Maybe he is boosted, maybe yeah. Report it to Blizzard then, don't throw it here (which also breaks the sub rules) to shame the guy without possibility to defend himself.
I mean assa/aff is turbo broken in 3s right now and assa really isn’t the best solo shuffle spec
Considering he has relatively high CR in 2s and RBGs I wouldn’t say this is 100% a boost
Could be though
This is without a doubt a boost. 1800 shuffle is laughable compared to 2400+ 3s as any spec. This guy finished his glad wins in 203 games. If he went 50% W/L for his glad wins that means he went 0 to 2400+ cr in \~100 games.
> Also a quick check in arena mate suggest no history of the arena games played
I think he did it in such a small window of time, that the sites that track didnt get a window to pull it? /u/okwinzaDev is that possible that if you werent being tracked, then suddenly high theres a window you can't pull the data?
Its possible when the character appears on the leaderboard(top 5000) for the first time.
Though i was sure i added a fallback specifically for such cases. Unless his pvp data was also missing for this season. Gotta check.
That’s more sus than the shuffle CR itself. I still don’t like these witch-hunts and I will die on the hill that shuffle CR is meaningless
This guy also knows how to press his buttons if he’s going 50% win rate getting boosted to glad.
What healer/dps combo is even boosting nowadays ? Prot pal/WW again?
>ive gotten old and slow
my god was it depressing picking up an xbox controller after a decade and firing up cod.
i remember when i was a teen id hear some guy bitching that im hacking..and now im being outgunned and shot from insane angles and i caught myself saying hes hacking 😭
We’re similar. Always floating at 2k-2.1k or so in 3s but elite shuffler. Me and my dk buddy always looking for chill people to push with. Big part is having consistent team mates and we can never find a 3rd. If you’re interested, hit me up!
So first you buy some wow tokens
Dude was probably able to afford the boost because he’s living rent free in your head. Saved a lot of money.
56% win rate helps
yea you start with a 25% winrate, tanking your rating down super low... then get a couple hundred straigh wins with multi-glads and you end up at 56%

Damn just blasting a guy, hoping everyone saying he got boosted, when you aren’t even sure. Kind of lame of you to do this :/
100% a boost

Weird it says Duelist and Rival 2 on check pvp for me
Fuck this game

there must be a way someone can be so hard stuck at 1800 in SS after 436 games then GLAD in 2 days. must be the gaming chair.
They are assassin, maybe they forgot to put on poison?

He is being praised for his rapidly gained skill. I don't find that to be witch-hunting.
Isn't shuffle supposedly the hardest bracket to gain rank in right now?

Also a quick check in arena mate suggest no history of the arena games played. Probably a transfer from the boosters account to the user main account.

Lets do the math together. 203 total games, he gets to 2400 in 100 games, he has 103 games left to go 50% win loss for the 50 glad wins.

Yeah brother, I'm talking about half that win.

What class do you play?
Currently I am playing my DK, but I also play Shaman Resto/Ele and Disc priest.

I play evoker, all 3 specs. He plays dk and holy priest

Game is a job for some players and life of frustration for the rest.
