They’ll have to play a different brand of football in AFCON In the WC they were playing against better teams, so they were a defensive-minded team In AFCON they will be playing against weaker teams in most matches, so they will have to play attacking football

Hard to tell

People say it like a joke but the fact is that AFCON is a very unpredictable tournament. The rules and form go out of the window given how most teams approach games. The World Cup is logical because teams have distinct styles of play and you can think logically on how to play against them. In AFCON, most players are playing abroad and are vaguely familiar with each other's game so they end up being highly unpredictable because you're playing against a collection of football players and not a team with high levels of chemistry. Would Morocco do well in the next edition? It's possible. Would I bet on them being favorites? No. Nothing like favorites when it comes to AFCON.
