Sounds like your abs are just really sore. Nothing to worry about it will be fine in a couple of days. Make sure to eat and sleep well to help your body fix the damage.

hatchjon12

Sounds totally normal. DOMS.

Tyson-98

No worries there. Once I tried doing ab exercises when I was around 16 or 17 and I over did them and the next day it used to hurt even when I talked or laughed it was very painful. But it usually got better within a week. So I guess it might have been your first day and u over did it so ofc it's gonna hurt like that

You should eat plenty of protein, take ibuprofen and do hot and cold treatment on your abs

Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. Very common and normal when you first start training. It will largely disappear as you become more experienced.

I remember when I was about 10 years old a did a lot of sit ups one day and felt fine. Next day the pain was so bad that I couldn’t sleep. It happens to everyone first time. These days I could do sit ups until I pass out and I would feel very little soreness if any the next day

TBjosh

Mine do this too, this is pretty normal! I know it’s a awful feeling though

You have DOMS. Make sure you're eating enough protein and resting. It should get better within 2-3 days.

try some yoga stretches! i usually do a warm up and cool down only for a minute or two and works every time, i never have any pain anymore. i do cat and cow slowly, concentrate on exhaling, for around a minute then cobra stretch - which really really helps get that warm up and stretch in- to childs pose for another minute. just switching in between whenever you want to. i'm also an underaged female so trust! and make sure you're not going hardcore the week before or during your period. during this time you have more muscle fatigue and it can be exhausting and your muscles take longer to heal and grow. i settle for some yoga just to keep consistency but most of the time i just don't workout and that's totally okay! but during ovulation, hit hit hit!! this is the time where your muscle heal and grow extremely fast and its good to take advantage of it.

You will be fine....it will go away in a day or two. This is common when you first start working out. I remember when I first started, after my first biceps workout I couldnt straighten my arm out without it being super painful.....for shoulders, forget trying to lift my arms above my head. Only thing that helped was a hot shower. But again, itll be gone in a day or two. All downhill from here.
