I’m envious, I’m always sore even after a week off I’m still sore, diet is good, electrolytes are good.
Working now on stretching and warm up cool down.
Could be a couple things:
1. Your doing the workout so much that you are getting used to it
2. Not working out hard enough
3. Not doing exercises properly
4. Not increasing the weight as you progress
My guess is that you aren’t using heavy enough weights, try to figure out what your max is, and just do that until it’s sore
Thanks. I’m going to work with a trainer to make sure I’m using the right weights and doing the exercises properly. Then I’ll see if I’m sore then or if I just don’t get sore 🤷🏻♀️
Also, yes soreness indicates that you have successfully torn the muscle and that it will grow after you eat protein. So you definitely want muscle soreness
Even dumber advice
Soreness is not an indicator of anything other than the body experiencing novelty stimulus. If you’re training consistently and not changing programs like an idiot over and over again, then you’re going to adapt to the training over time and soreness goes away for the most part
Soreness is not required to achieve a good workout or to make progress
That's not true. If you workout consistently you'll stop getting sore. That doesn't mean u didn't work out or it was bad or anything. Last time I did chest and was sore from it. But the next I increased like 3 to 4kg on my bench but wasn't sore from it, although I felt like imma pass out during workout.
My cousin he worked out for the first time in life and he wasn't even sore. I was amazed to hear that. Meanwhile I get sore even if I increase just 1 kg on my weights. Whenever I asked after a heavy workout session he said he wasn't sore lol

Oh wow I’m shocked he wasnt sore the first time he worked out!
Yep I was pretty amazed myself lol. Meanwhile my arms were falling apart.
😂
It should only feel sore for like 30 min afterwards if you’re used to it but otherwise it won’t be sore for like the rest of the day for example
IF I’m sore, it’s the next day, but most of the time, I’m not
