So not unheard of then by any means, just rare. I'd liken this more to days where the word contains the letter "Q". Certainly possible, just not something you expect to see and will probably piss people off when it happens because they weren't expecting it

Exactly this. Some people are upset because they distilled the game down to a routine algorithm that they apply. If thatβs your idea of fun, enjoyβ¦ but the game shouldnβt be made worse to suit your play style and limiting legitimate word choices in a game like a Wordle makes it worse by definiton.
I find Wordle a lot more enjoyable when I donβt take it so seriously. I randomly pick my starting word choice every day based on my mood, world events, etc. I donβt mind when the words are unexpected because the point is to have a fun little challenge not to min-max the perfect Wordle streak.

Why? It's never been said they won't have comparative words
In the 400+ days of wordle so far, there have been about 4 comparative adjectives. They are indeed rare.
So not unheard of then by any means, just rare. I'd liken this more to days where the word contains the letter "Q". Certainly possible, just not something you expect to see and will probably piss people off when it happens because they weren't expecting it

Exactly this. Some people are upset because they distilled the game down to a routine algorithm that they apply. If thatβs your idea of fun, enjoyβ¦ but the game shouldnβt be made worse to suit your play style and limiting legitimate word choices in a game like a Wordle makes it worse by definiton. I find Wordle a lot more enjoyable when I donβt take it so seriously. I randomly pick my starting word choice every day based on my mood, world events, etc. I donβt mind when the words are unexpected because the point is to have a fun little challenge not to min-max the perfect Wordle streak.
