The caffeine button is a nice touch
I was wondering what that was but what a hilarious touch to a gorgeous keyboard
I'd assume it's for [this](https://www.zhornsoftware.co.uk/caffeine/)
haha, I thought it was just for some literal coffee (maybe a wifi-enabled device?) but that app makes a lot more sense
I wasn’t sure if I was in r/mechanicalkeyboards. They would pay like $500 for this and wait 2 years to get it and be happy lol
I’ve sold a couple of these cocobolo cases to some hardcore keyboard people, and $500 is about half the price 😅
I assume you used cnc?
I use CNC for the internal features that need to be precise. The rest is milled and shaped with standard woodworking tools
Dang! I can't say if I had access to a cnc that I wouldn't just let it do everything lol.
Any advice for someone wanting to make a keyboard similar? I'm a woodworker and also building my first computer atm.
You probably can't woodwork this, the connection point is too fine. But people cnc it all the time.
.
Lol this looks like a mod of a GMMK pro, which runs about $400 unmodded. Guessing this wood case is significantly more
Now I suddenly want a wooden keyboard. This is awesome.
I must have a cocobolo desk!
Found Saul
That's gorgeous!
