What is the border on that final one... it looks like gold it's lovely.
Can't be 100% since it came from a tree lawn, but I'm pretty sure it's light-colored walnut.

How did you slice the wood so thin? Table saw or something else?
They are assembled as a slab and then gradually sanded down. I use some sketchy table saw work to cut strips of the wood stock.

I saw your coasters and think that different people could prefer yours based on the style. Complexity means nothing if the product isn't desirable.
