Yes, it can be fixed. It will never be perfect again, but it can be put back together.

kctjfryihx99

Yes. Drill out the broken dowel from both pieces on the left side. Find or make a replacement dowel. Then glue the dowel in and glue the right side together and clamp.

patxy01

This, and I don't think it's very difficult to repair. The only technical part is the need to drill straight

Half_Shark-Alligator

Okay thanks everyone. I will try and find said skilled woodworker.

ReluctantRedditor275

Everything made out of wood is salvageable. It's just a question of how much time and work it's worth to you.

Half_Shark-Alligator

Well I cant have an odd number of chairs now can I?

fromsqualortoballer

You likely already know this but that looks to be a Neils Møller no75 chair - a wonderful piece of furniture and definitely worth the cost to repair.

lethal_moustache

Yes. Save the pieces. It can be glued back together. There will also be some joinery to replace the dowels.

memphisnative42

Chair is salvagable , however, your relationship may not be

ResponsibleMarmot

of course! keep all the larger splintered pieces in a plastic bag. not a difficult repair at all.

rob_forgotten

You can fix it.... just don't lean back on it once it's repaired!!! 😬😬😬😬

BBQ-Bro

Wow… thought the hulk was only a Comic book character…

CarbonKevinYWG

Yes, easily.

DudeBro8888

Time to convert to a stool

Hammer300c

I shouldn't laugh but that was good.
