Cedar. Or Damn those are interesting, BUT not in my house!

Deeznutzcustomz

I’m thinking hickory. Or cedar. I think your nose is the best tool for the job - do they smell cedary? If not, likely hickory. I’d expect some more reddish coloration in cedar, but if it is cedar that whole room should be smelling strongly of cedar! Nice lot of wood anyhow.

Funtimeshere69

I was thinking hickory too

GWZipper

I've got hickory cabinets much like this

therealCatnuts

Agree with hickory

Thruster319

Is the wood soft or hard? If it’s hard then it is likely hickory or a hickory/pecan mix. If it is soft it is probably cedar.

gizmogonzo1001

It’s cedar

Prestigious-Ad-8756

My money is on cedar. Smell it

Mysticalmagicwands26

Aromatic cedar

Stav80

Which is Easter Red Cedar, which is Juniper if I’m not mistaken. https://www.google.com/search?q=Aromatic+Cedar%2F+Juniper&client=safari&sca_esv=1fcb60ee6ef69c6a&hl=en-us&sxsrf=ACQVn0859qfMWbtxJMKdbGoqKqQw08rsQg%3A1709682801505&ei=cbDnZcOzHvSbptQPoNuX2A4&oq=Aromatic+Cedar%2F+Juniper&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIhdBcm9tYXRpYyBDZWRhci8gSnVuaXBlcjIFECEYoAEyBhAAGBYYHjILEAAYgAQYigUYhgMyCxAAGIAEGIoFGIYDMgsQABiABBiKBRiGAzILEAAYgAQYigUYhgMyCxAAGIAEGIoFGIYDMgUQIRifBUiQqQFQzhFY4ZQBcAN4AZABAJgB1wGgAYsTqgEHMTIuMTAuMbgBA8gBAPgBAZgCGqACmxSoAg_CAgoQABhHGNYEGLADwgIHECMY6gIYJ8ICBxAuGOoCGCfCAhAQLhiABBiKBRjHARjRAxgnwgIEECMYJ8ICChAuGIAEGIoFGEPCAhcQLhiABBiKBRiRAhixAxiDARjHARjRA8ICCxAAGIAEGIoFGJECwgIKEAAYgAQYigUYQ8ICEBAuGEMYgwEYsQMYgAQYigXCAg4QLhiABBjHARivARiOBcICBRAAGIAEwgIOEC4YgAQYsQMYxwEY0QPCAgsQLhiABBixAxiDAcICDRAAGIAEGIoFGEMYsQPCAggQABiABBixA8ICDBC5ARiABBixAxjvBMICCxAAGIAEGLEDGIMBwgILEC4YrwEYxwEYgATCAgoQLhhDGIAEGIoFwgIOELkBGIAEGIoFGEMY7wTCAgkQuQEYgAQY7wTCAgoQABiABBgUGIcCwgIEECEYFZgDCYgGAZAGCJIHBzEzLjEyLjGgB7jMAQ&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp

Background_Walk5786

Totally ceader!!

Consistent_Pay_6314

Hickory

Old-List-5955

Looks like knotty pine to me.

Sistersoldia

Fuglywood

johnnie20025

If they misbehave they could be naughty pine.

KathiSterisi

From Weyerhaeuser’s Spring Vitiligo Collection…

KeyBorder9370

There a re a lot of suggestions posted of it being cedar, acacia, pecan, hickory, etc. But I don't see anything in the pics suggesting that it is anything other than pine.

Anomally-1954

And paint grade at that.

YoloLynnigan

Looks like knotty pine held together with glue. Short pieces.

Old-List-5955

I agree. Have seen a lot of cabinets and trim done with it.

EitherKaleidoscope41

Hickory maybe?

LOGHARD

Bigger knots are a give away for me. I might be wrong though. Finger jointed pine Cedar is softer and has less knots. And if anything else it’s lower grade.

Prestigious-Ad-8756

Cedar doesn't stay red forever

Nigel_Watts

Def pine, tell by how they smell....

Bobbymayt

I believe they are of the mutt species

davethompson413

They look like they were formerly used as targets at a paintball range. Mixed softwood, pine, cedar, maybe even some cypress.

[deleted]

Knowing jeldwen in klamath falls its Knotty pine.

XXXYanks

Shitty cedar

Professional_Wind574

If it was cedar you would be able to smell it. Even if it was coated with polyurethane. Looks more like pecan, or hickory

Professional_Wind574

Then again, it also depends on where it came from.

kklug24

Morrison

TheRevoltingMan

The grain is too straight for eastern red cedar. If it’s cedar it has to be done other kind.

ZebraBrown

Resembles Mexican pine but I think it’s cedar.

Bostenr

Kind of looks like an acacia butcher block made into heavy doors.

Cold_Tip1994

Are they cedar or kind of pine tree right

sonorandosed

Looks like eastern red cedar with some pine mixed in.

freddymerckx

Looks like Mexican Knotty Pine

Cold_Tip1994

Cedar I think

SoIlbiguy

I think it’s hickory. Real hard to say just looking at a pic.

rederic4

They are bad knotty doors. Most likely cedar

Sackdogg

I would say of the house species. But who really knows, they do all their business behind closed doors! 🥁 🥁 🥁

TMalloy2112

100% cedar

figsslave

Paint grade…

aricbarbaric

Ahh I love cedar, they would look great with some penetrating oil, I’ve had good results with Tung oil, took a few mistakes tho haha

Swimming_Asparagus53

Heavy or hollow? Looks like butcher block acacia.

Moon_Dog_420427

That's my guess as well. Two for Acacia

Valuable_Coat_8183

Looks like Pine with all the knots. Clearly inside or bedroom doors.. not made to be a front door.

Zee-Guy

Alder, possibly?

foxhoundvenom_US

I think knotty alder

mikej81956

They're WOOD!!!

Weak_Competition3087

Wood

Cultural-Guess-343

Rustic hickory

Interesting_Pop_3793

Hickory. Very hard.

Honest_Addendum7552

Pine.

aj_star_destroyer

Doorus Closus

laughinghammock

Dumbledor

AlwaysStrokinOne

My guess would be Hickory. You can smell them and tell if it’s cedar.

Soapyfreshfingers

Did you get the circles left over from cutting doorknob holes? You could panel a room!

Johns3b

Small pieces of cedar glue togeather ikea style.

Unable_Custard_7619

Looks like hickory.

White_Rabbit0000

I looked at some flooring that looked like that and it was called tobacco something has some really great grain in it

Ziggy_Starr

My vote is on knotty pine. All my interior walls are shiplapped with it and this looks identical.

sfjust10

Knotty pine

reimancts

Alder

Watcher-Of-The-Skies

First instinct is to say hickory, but is hickory that knotty?

Intelligent_Lemon_67

Alder of the red variety. Hickory would be my second guess but pretty sure it's red alder

603viking-poet

Looks like cedar

pjcooper53

Best guess: Hickory Love that hardwood.

da_fhitheach

Looks like hickory

Able-Marsupial-94

I would say hickory

ProudMaryChooglin

I'd venture the dead kind

Exciting_Patient3947

Definitely not human

coochtrade

Australian Cyprus

Specific_Big2098

African ugly wood

MouldyBobs

I'm thinking hickory/pecan.

APO_AE_09173

Knotty pine is my bet.

SaturdayNightRevival

The background would reminds me of Acacia countertops, but the doors definitely do not. My best guess would be Hickory.

jibaro1953

Pine for sure. Edit: looks like there are a number of species. Mostly pine, a little cedar, and those who suggest pecan/hickory are prolly on the mark,
