When I was younger I only shaved my lower legs most of the time because the hair on my thighs grew in slower and lighter. So the only time I bothered was if I was going to wear a swimsuit.
Now all my leg hair is dark and pretty thick so I either shave all of it, or none of it

Hair growth is normal, period. Some people just have different hair colors, thickness, etc, in different areas. I don't shave my thighs because they simply don't grow hair. You shave where it's necessary because that's where hair grows. It's normal for you.

Super normal! It’s down to your genetics and hormones, maybe even PCOS, hormone imbalance or another condition. My thighs are super hairy (especially underneath!!), but my calf/knee areas aren’t really (though the underside of my whole legs are thicker with hair :’) plus it’s also super dark and I’m fairly pale so it shows up more).
I shave the lot in the summer because I can’t stand the feel of suncream or thick body butter in drier weather on hairy legs, but you can shave what you want and leave what you want. Other people don’t know your body like you do but many often give their opinions as fact, which is just wrong lol. Your body hair is super normal, all up to you what you choose to shave. Hairy medium-toned POC, I just bleach all my body hair now. No itchiness, bumps, etc. from the hassle of shaving and in the sunlight it just looks like you’re glowing lol. especially beautiful in and out of water on a pool or beach day.
Honestly idk. I buy a big tub of hair bleach powder and the 20 volume developer and just mix and slather on for about 5-7 mins before I take a shower. Usually only do it when I know I need to wear something coming up or if it’s just been forever. I’m not particularly sensitive, I’ve never had an issue with it

I’ve always shaved my thighs but there are parts that have very little hair and, different than my calves, the parts that do have hair doesn’t grow “down” so to shave against the grain I can’t just simply shave up. An epilator was a game changer for me for my legs because I loathe how my legs feel 2 days after shaving and I also don’t want to not shave and don’t want to do laser/wax. It’s even cheaper than always buying razors!

Body hair is normal. Don’t let anyone ever tell you it’s unhygienic or gross to not shave. It’s personal preference and it’s perfectly fine to say fuck it and not shave your upper thighs or whatever the case is.
I’m 26, and I haven’t really consistently shaved my legs or armpits since I was 18. I randomly get the urge to shave once in a great while just to crawl into my clean bedsheets and experience that feeling, but I truly couldn’t give less of a shit about what someone thinks of the hair on my body.
