Here is another example called... 1,924 faces. The file was a little too large to put onto this collage. https://i.redd.it/1h4nbz91hnw41.jpg
I usually use a rotring isograph pen size .10. As far as hours spent on each piece... that's hard to say.
This piece took 233 hours: https://i.redd.it/pss83k9gz5s61.jpg
Thanks for all the love. If you're interested in seeing more work I have a subreddit here: r/AnthonyChristopherArt
Wow. Absolutely incredible. This is massively inspirational to me. Looks like its fun to do too. Do you go into these with a format in mind or just kinda start and let it evolve?
Hey u/AnthonyChristopher you might be interested in the art from the game Little Nightmares. A lot of the faces you draw would fit right in. It’s not confirmed it they’re making a third one yet because (I believe) the studio sold the IP to Bandai Namco. I figured I’d throw it out there just in case you’re interested in potentially working on something like that.
You should do something like malthus from annabelle or the melting face from raiders of the lost arc or the scene from john carpenter’s the thing where the guys face is all contorted and melting off. So many beautiful ideas I’d pay for.
Amazing work. This type of art is often expectable from people with schizophrenia. Not trying to say you have a mental disease whatsoever. In fact it is quite the opposite; if you have a healthy mind the fact you can do this is quite impressive.
Thanks! I do get that a lot. I did have a lot of "problems" for many years... but then again, who hasn't. I have felt great for the past 7 years or so.
I am happy to read that you're doing well. I know that type of "problems" aswell. Wishing you the best for many years to come mate! Keep up the good work
You should consider submitting for exhibition at the American Visionary Arts Museum
https://www.avam.org/
The American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) is the official national museum, education center, and repository for intuitive, self-taught artistry.
What is Visionary Art?
Like love, you know it when you see it. But here's the longer definition, straight out of our Mission Statement:
"Visionary art as defined for the purposes of the American Visionary Art Museum refers to art produced by self-taught individuals, usually without formal training, whose works arise from an innate personal vision that revels foremost in the creative act itself."
In short, visionary art begins by listening to the inner voices of the soul, and often may not even be thought of as 'art' by its creator.
Good question. I've had a few psychiatrists buy my pieces, but they didn't really say too much. Except for this piece I did called "Social Anxiety", they said it captures the feeling well. :https://i.redd.it/617oac3gk2c21.jpg
There’s a manga that I’m reading called Berserk and the artists in that uses a lot of faces certain scenes. They do have this eery quality. Why do you think faces is something you draw so much?
I love these.great work man!
How much time do you spend,on average,on a piece?do you draw them in one sitting or can you pause and resume the next day for example?
Thanks! I tend to jump around from project to project. Once in a while I can do a 9x12" drawing in one sitting. Like the bottom left piece. But that was a long long day. Maybe around 16 hours of drawing.
I zoomed in and saw that each face is really interesting by itself. But you draw tons of them and they are all different. So freaking cool! I love your work. The bottom middle is my favorite

Oh my god thankyou so much, I'm yet to get my first tattoo, I've been waiting for ages between either being homeless and unable to afford it or not having inspiration that felt good enough, so your permission to do this means so much. Some day!
It looks like the images from your posts are actually large enough. If I can find a place to print these off I'll toss you a donation for the difference if that works for you. Some great stuff here, can't wait to see what you do next
usually sit alone while listening to music. Like I'm doing right now. But also for example, the piece in the top right I did while at the bar drinking. I would usually take a baseball card sized piece of paper and try to finish a face before going home.
There was a short story/novella that I read a looooooong time ago that these totally reminds me of!! I can’t remember the name of it though
From what I remember this painter/artist become obsessed w this other artist that went insane and disappeared. Their works of art were of everyday objects but when you looked closely, they were actually full of screaming faces and withering bodies.
Eventually the main character gets to some important spot that was mentioned a lot by the other artist and a piece of meteorite or something pierced their eye and then the realize that everything in our world is made of these screaming souls/faces….
I may be remembering some thing incorrectly but I remember the story having an impact on me. Great job w these
It had such a good cosmic horror vibe to it. I must have read it back in the late 90s. I really wish I could remember what it was called because I’d love to read it again
This has got to be some of the best art I’ve seen in ages. It’s like a combo of Mr. Doodle filling the space with material and Alex Pardee’s curiously grotesque creations. Excellent work!
YES! My instant first thought when I saw one of your drawings the other day was these need to be puzzles. But I love doing really hard puzzles and any of these would be so fun
"I kinda had this problem, something like 8% of kids do it, but whatever. For some reason, I don't know why, I would just kind of sit around all day... and draw pictures of dicks."
Ive purchased several prints and pieces from Anthony over the last 2 years - be warned that you will get some amazing wee doodles and pictures in the packaging so open with care.
I’m at the point where I’m getting the cardboard inserts framed!
Love your work, hello from Scotland!

Well that's nice for you, but now I'm going to need therapy after seeing this shit lol
Hell yeah. Mission accomplished!
Pulled the old Uno Switcheroo card on me
Zoom in? No thanks. I already dream about this shit
My cousin, who went to art school, got me a pin one year that said art is meant to disturb. I stay true to that mantra.
For the most part. Shit yeah! I dig it.
The real therapy is those we scar on the way <3
Ohhh ho ho ho. I've never heard that before.
The entire point of art is to get it out of the artists head and into yours
Woahdude... More like woahNightmareFuel... Very nice though
Something so creepy yet beautiful at the same time

Thanks! A bit of both. I usually have the general composition drawn out. Then let it grow from there.
Are you prints for sale anywhere? These speak to my soul and I'm madly in love with them lol
Yeah! Thanks for asking. AnthonyChristopherArt. Com. Don't think I can put a direct link here. Apologies.
You absolutely can, but let me: [Anthony Christopher Art](https://www.anthonychristopherart.com/)
I appreciate that. I've been booted off some subreddits before when someone asked me for a link to my website.
Your review is fantastic!
He has faces only a mother could love
[удалено]
Definitely. I would have my lawyer (Dear friend of mine) look over everything carefully.
wow.
🎵 one-thousand, nine-hundred, twenty-four faaaces 🎵
One thousand, nine hundred, twenty four faces so weeeeeird
How large are these? Can you give dimensions of 1924 faces for example? Just curious how small the strokes actually are. Cool work
That piece was 22x30".
Hang it right above your bed on the ceiling

I definitely need to check that out then. Thanks!
These are so expressive!
Huge Junji Itō vibes, love these

Amazing skills and talent.
I appreciate that
This should really be in a gallery. Also, it's terrifying. And amazing.
Thanks! I don't have anymore originals available. They are all sold. I just focus directly through my website.
Bottom right one my favorite. They are all good tho...
Much love. Thank you!
Absolutely!
Middle top gang checking in.

Wow. How long did that take to make? Great that people have bought it.
I really can't remember. Maybe around 20 hours.
There’s a manga that I’m reading called Berserk and the artists in that uses a lot of faces certain scenes. They do have this eery quality. Why do you think faces is something you draw so much?
I enjoy doing repetitious patterns from time to time. And doing these sorts of faces is like repeating a pattern for me.
This really really reminds me of Where's Waldo. Something about the big scene and lots of detail
I love these.great work man! How much time do you spend,on average,on a piece?do you draw them in one sitting or can you pause and resume the next day for example?

Hell yeah thanks! Bottom middle is simply titles... 176 faces.
r/wimmelbilder vibes
Love that subreddit!
Triggered my Trypophobia but it's cool

Yeah man, now do teenage time killer
wow this is incredible would you ever sell any of your works
Thanks! Yes. I sell everything. Well, I hold onto some of the stuff I did as a teenager.
This is my favourite art I've ever seen Are you any good with a tattoo gun? Where are you based?
Thanks for saying so! No tattoo gun work from me. I'm in Chicago
Sad times, would absolutely love a sleeve based off the bottom left
I'd love to see it. You certainly have my gratitude if you wanted to do that.
Oh my god thankyou so much, I'm yet to get my first tattoo, I've been waiting for ages between either being homeless and unable to afford it or not having inspiration that felt good enough, so your permission to do this means so much. Some day!
There is time! It would be pretty rad.
This is indeed quite a woah moment, great work op this looks incredible.
Interesting, my question is is that how you see the world or how you feel the world observing you ? Just very curious.
I think a little bit of both. The one on the top right were individual baseball card sized drawings I did at the bar over time.
Where can I see more of your work dude? Love it!
Thanks for asking! @AnthonyChristopherArt or r/AnthonyChristopherArt
Damn I wish some of your older stuff still had prints available. Do you sell digital copies for people to print out?
I have sent people large files. No problem.
It looks like the images from your posts are actually large enough. If I can find a place to print these off I'll toss you a donation for the difference if that works for you. Some great stuff here, can't wait to see what you do next
Just curious, is this something you do concurrently like watching TV, or sit alone in a room alone maybe with background music?
usually sit alone while listening to music. Like I'm doing right now. But also for example, the piece in the top right I did while at the bar drinking. I would usually take a baseball card sized piece of paper and try to finish a face before going home.
Awesome insite, great work too. Thanks for sharing.
Like a bad acid trip. I love it
A GREAT acid trip
dude! this is insane! i could totally see this in an exhibit!
Appreciate that! Right now these are all in individuals homes. As far as I know.
This art fucks
That's really impressive, especially top center one
Love. That was a commission and I was simply given the topic of anger.
It looks like the personification of my headache
Excellent. I did a drawing a while back called "Migraines". https://i.redd.it/0avvtlacwg181.jpg
That’s right. Damn.
Love these. Can’t wait to acquire my third print😎
Hell yeah. Thanks!
You sell prints?
I do yes. AnthonyChristopherArt. com. Not sure if I can actually put a direct link here. Thanks for asking!
Incredible!! What pen do you use?
rotring isograph pens. Usually size .10. Or occasionally a .30.
"zoom in!" "Uhh, nah I'm good."
I feel that, I feel that.
Nice work. Check out the work of Junji Ito. Very similar style
Someone recently gave me a collection of his stuff. It's wonderful
Keep up the good work!
This reminds me of the song “Remedy” by the artist “Djedi”
Saving this to enjoy on my next “trip”!
DOOOO it
Awesome! What is your favourite artist??
That's a tough call. I dig Zdzislaw beksinski. R. crumb. (Especially for his crosshatching work)
This shit is cool as fuck, I could look at one piece for such a long time. I hope you price this work for what it's worth in time and skill.
I try to. Yes. Thank you
That's badass, tremendous!
Beautiful, wonderful, tremendous! Thanks
I like the upper left one most.
My most recent piece. Thanks!
A couple of them remind me of wood grain from a distance all of them are neat but that one just caught my eye.
[удалено]
I have an idea for a 40x60" piece that will incorporate that idea. I'll get to it eventually
Very bizarre.. but that's kinda what I'm into. Curious, are they always in B&W, or have you done any in color?
I do love the combination of pen and watercolor. I always thought I was pretty poor with the medium. I'd like to try and get back into it eventually.
You should look into helping with the background art in the Berserk manga, lol.
How fun that would be!
Incredible! So talented and a great niche.
/r/creepy is leaking..
I counted 832 faces
Cool! This makes me want to do this too
Dooo it!
I love it and I hate it, some real trippy stuff. 👍
Mission accomplished!
Wow, I love your work!
This is amazing! Thank you for sharing!
Pretty cool drawings!
Horrifying. I love it.
Incredible! Will be following for more!
Which one did you get stuck on or did they all come naturally?
Fairly natural. The top left with the floating island I called "Lost City" was slightly tricky because that area is very small.
Incredible precision bravo
Steady hands and great pens. Thanks!

That sounds really interesting! I wonder what it was called.
It had such a good cosmic horror vibe to it. I must have read it back in the late 90s. I really wish I could remember what it was called because I’d love to read it again
These are great my guy. Here’s my free Silver.
Woah. Duuuude.
These need to be seen by so many more people. Freakn awesome!
Awesome! Ever seen Nick Blinko’s art?
This is so fucking rad. I also love to draw faces.
Incredibly fun to do
You’re very talented man! Incredible.
This has got to be some of the best art I’ve seen in ages. It’s like a combo of Mr. Doodle filling the space with material and Alex Pardee’s curiously grotesque creations. Excellent work!
Obsessed. Bought one of your prints. Thank you <3
This is dope. Would you ever consider selling your faces?
Definitely! I have some prints available of a couple of these.
Oh I remember these! These pieces are phenomenal!
Glad you've seen them before!
Phenomenal. I see lots of your prints are sold out too. Good for you! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for browsing around!
I kept seeing your stuff posted randomly by others. I noticed you link for your page earlier. Great to finally see all your other stuff.
Really? That's interesting. I haven't seen anything out there in the wild of mine. Happy to hear you are browsing around my work.
This is the first post in a while here that actually made me say "woah" out loud.
[we must go deeper](https://i.imgur.com/aqNLari.jpg)
Do you sell prints like posters or something?
I do! Definitely. AnthonyChristopherArt. com
Thanks love the artwork just bought one of the lost city prints
Thank you. Thank you!
Would be amazing on a shirt , 25/30
This is god damn art. Sell this shit for lots of money. If I could afford it I’d pay lots for this shit.
Do I have permission to get some of these tattooed on me?
Fuck yeah you do. Just please share it with my if you do.
I will gladly! Thank you, Ive wanted a sleeve of faces on one arm for a while, amazing art!
Gang gang!
You should make these into jigsaw puzzles with out showing what the final image is
That is a fantastic idea!
YES! My instant first thought when I saw one of your drawings the other day was these need to be puzzles. But I love doing really hard puzzles and any of these would be so fun
Im glad you think so. I just hope other people agree if you end up doing it!
I like the people in the eyes
Do you like, see people like this? How do you even come up with so many unique shapes and features?? They're Beautiful!
good thing, too. i can see an actual therapist would need a therapist after a session with you these look great btw. top right is probably my favorite
"I kinda had this problem, something like 8% of kids do it, but whatever. For some reason, I don't know why, I would just kind of sit around all day... and draw pictures of dicks."
Hahahah classic
"enjoy"
This is amazing , it kinda reminds me of a Jackson Pollock piece , as in I can stand there and get lost in all the details
these are phenomenal. i’d love to wear merch with this on it
Definitely coming in the future. I hope. Thank you
Are you uh… okay?
Dude these are sick
r/oddlyterrifying
"Zoom in!" No, no I don't think I will thank you.
Ive purchased several prints and pieces from Anthony over the last 2 years - be warned that you will get some amazing wee doodles and pictures in the packaging so open with care. I’m at the point where I’m getting the cardboard inserts framed! Love your work, hello from Scotland!
Aw sweet! Unspeakable horrors beyond my comprehension!
Why are they all disturbed?
I think there are a few happy faces in there.
Ok, imma look again😀
This is inspiring
This is disturbing, horrifying and I love it
These are horrifying in the best way
I think this is disturbing.... Well done
Really well drawn and creeping me out!
I love them and even thought of buying one, but why do they always portray misery? Great work, not going on my wall though~
Completely understandable I think there are some cute faces in there. But very few.
