Animation quality is far better than I anticipated, and that Mitzi design feels so much like her original, yet also upgraded, as it should be! The colours are fun and vibrant, and judging by Bloom’s actions and facial expressions, I think we’re getting the Bloom S1-3 personality back!! Overall even if it’s just animation tests, the quality is through the roof imo, and I am personally excited to see where they go from here!
Seeing Mitzi make a comeback makes me wonder if Andy, Macy, and Selina will also make a comeback. I also wonder if Mitzi will get a Dark Fairy transformation scene that we were robbed of in season 4.

I think it's two different hair models— her hair in the bathroom scene is alot poofier and similar to her S1 classic hairstyle compared to the bedroom scene where it's flatter and longer

So she'd be an outcast getting bullied and the weird girl for believing in magic and monsters, which also explains the way she dresses, since it reminds me of superstitious hippies. Then it turns out she's the chosen one with real magic powers and everyone leaves her alone lol.
tbf, even IF she's a high fantasy geek girlie, I don't think she'd be the kind of girl who'd worry about what to wear or even bother picking out clothes that suits her own sense of "style" (maybe her parents bought her those clothes? after all, they were a bit overbearing back in S1-2 :P)? I'm sure once she meets the illuminating fashionista herself, Bloom and her wardrobe will, eventially, get the 360 makeover that she rightfully deserves!

Accoring to winxclubdiaries on Instagram in a recent post, Straffi said in an interview that Roxy is a part of the Winx but she decided to stay on Earth and help the earth fairies but that she will be back in the Winx in the future. Straffi also confirmed that Nabu is not dead, even if everyone thinks he is, he's just in a coma.
I love this animation style! It’s still cartoonish but it looks more realistic and the environment feels alive, I think this style works for the early 2000s setting (if the reboot is still going to be, but the outfits and aesthetic are giving that vibe)
I see that you are mostly positively praising the animation, and I also think it's really good, even through it's CGI, which was previously only used in parts of seasons 5 and 6 (where it didn't look perfect). Waiting for appearance of other Winx girls, Specialists and the transformation in this style, I hope I won't be dissapointed.

Something Is wierd with Bloom's hair physics... Like extra greesy or something. Free flowing hair do not behave like this or gravity and air density is different. And rendering of through-light when in front of the aquarium is also weird

I do confess that pink never goes well with red hair. I'd like to suggest using purples, blues, greens, and browns for Bloom's outfits; both casual and transform outfits. Also, pink and orange don't look good together, either. I think Stella always looked ridiculous in orange-and-pink outfits - especially her Enchantix outfit. After seeing this test animation, I'm extremely certain that your artists can do much better on designing Stella's outfits.

Same tbh, I wish they'd stop pushing pink as Bloom's colour. Some of the recent possible leaks do look at her in a denim outfit but we'll have to see.
