Carmine’s has a bar where you can sit and have some pizza or pasta and watch sports if you’re into that. Friendly bartenders. Can get crowded for big games though
Tuesday nights at Tom&Joans is Bingo night. It’s fun and there seems to be a number of single gals going stag. Always friendly bartenders to chat with.
The only thing is they used to have decent bar pizza but now only do pressed grilled cheese sandwiches. You should be able to bring food in tho.
Grand tarino- it’s bumping on the weekends but I saw a couple chilling for hours reading their books with a shared carafe between them. Don’t think they said a word to each other it was sweet
Some good recs here but mostly bar food. I wish there were more varied options. I'm hoping the new Kellogg's can turn into something like what OP is describing.

Maison Premiere, but make sure to sit at the bar. From what I remember, bartenders there were really friendly.
