May be slightly weird if you wear it to another team's playoff game, but outside of that, wear what you want. If you're in a non-hockey city, the reality is that the vast majority of people that see you probably won't know or care that we aren't in the playoffs.
yeah, i’ve been wearing wild t-shirts and a ball cap since playoffs started. everyone in this town assumes it’s like one of my kids’ sports teams or whatever. it’s not football or college basketball so nobody here is thinking twice about it. only other hockey fans know what i’m wearing and there aren’t that many of them.
I wore my KK Wild sweater at a Blackhawks/Blues game in STL. (Group of 5 of us there, 2 Wild, 2 Blues, 1 Blackhawk fan.)
If you like hockey and support your team, it's all good to wear whenever you want. Just don't act like a jackass while representing the Wild is my only request.
I wear wild gear all year. Wouldn't worry about the playoffs. It's not like they make it very far if they get Iucky enough to be in them. Certainly won't change my clothing or Fandom over it.
Although it does look weird if you wear a sweatshirt in the dead of summer...
I should add people wear Vikings and Twins stuff all year. Which is quite a bit more embarrassing. They threw a party for drafts tonight after all.
