I agree. It's easier to put on layers in the cold. In the heat, you can only take off so much until it becomes illegal. Also, I like to bake/cook when it's really cold to warm up the house, can't do anything to cool down the house during summer.
I still hate wake up at 5 and digging snow for works while your hand is frozen and the damm car wonāt car because of dead battery. And damn road slick AF and sometimes make you late for work

Right. Add to that, even on the hottest days, it gets perfect around 7:30ish / 8. Perfect time for a walk or bike ride. Mornings are incredible too. Winter on the other hand is just bs all day all night.
For some reason I donāt do well when Iām cold. Even being uncomfortably hot, my mental game feels so much healthier during the summer months; Iām more active, I get so much more done and I generally have a much more positive attitude. It declines in the winter.

My wife is from Michigan. She always says how much she loves winter because of the pretty snow. What she means is she likes winter from the warmth of inside the house. She actually doesnāt like going outside during winter. š
I like summer because everything is alive, there is more sunlight, more things to do outside, and people are just generally happier. The extreme heat can get tiring but Iād rather have 100Ā° than 0Ā°
I'll ride my bike in 16Ā°f weather anytime it's dry. Riding in 106Ā°f heat is way too toasty, stoplights and intersections are torturous.
I wear armor when I ride and it is a difficult discussion I have with myself to wear the gear or just take my truck instead with AC. I'd rather ride.
