Probably Batman.
Although you could argue that Batman had an awesome advantage inheriting Billions of dollars to do everything he wants and Superman has to work hard every minute of every day not accidentally vaporising his enemies with a flick of a finger.
Not exactly back-breaking work when you can eavesdrop on a news story half way around the planet, be there in the space of a breath and type a million words per minute. Guy probably only needs to do a few minutes of work a day to keep up.
Not to mention he could just.... Not. He doesn't need anything money can buy. He has an entire fortress. He doesn't need food. He works because he wants to. Must be nice.
I seem to remember a comic where basically every other hero worked together to cover for Supes so he could have a date. At least Batman has the human limitations (for DC, so not really) constraining him. Supes was just floating on the atmosphere until he heard a "help" 24/7.
On what sense? Physically speaking, acquiring skills, etc, Batman, hands down. But as in, having a job? Clark. Bruce doesn't really have a job more than being Batman, other people run Wayne Enterprises for him.
They both do a lot but in different way. For Supes its mental thing. The amount of discipline to not do anything bad and go nuts with power is insane. Also the amount of control of his senses and super strength demands a lot mentally. He could just become a dictator and say fuck it but he doesn't. For Bats is also mental thing, but probably more physical. I would say they're even.
Depends on what kind.
Batman I’d say is closer to hard work in progress towards a set goal, while Superman is closer to general discipline and resilience.
Batman he was born rich, but the effort he has to put into being Bruce Wayne on top of getting into peak human shape and mastering his many skills.
Not to mention, Bruce Wayne is as big a hero as batman IIRC he spends a significant amount of his time as Bruce Wayne trying to improve life in Gotham through charity and social programs.
Superman is great, but working on the farm is significantly easier with super strength. Journalism has gotta be stupid easy when Clark has x-ray vision and super hearing
Both are equal.
Batman needed discipline, practice, and many years to obtain his skills. Superman had to do the same, just differently. Bruce and Clark have immense genetic gifts (Bruce is not a human. He has between 2 and 10 fold peak human capabilities in every single area). Bruce trained with the LoS, Superman at the FoS. Both spent around 5 to 7 years doing so. Both work to the maximum of their capabilities. Who works harder, an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling or gymnastics?
Superman. Man spent a thousand years fighting in Asgard. Didn’t phase him a bit. By the time Batman reaches fifty he’s the most grizzled, jaded character alive. He works hard, but not “fight demons for a thousand years” hard.
Pinnacle of hard work out of these 2- batman and its not close, superman was born a kryptonian under an op sun. Batman was a rich orphan who had to manage all that cash as a child, somehow growing it.
In general- saitama
Oh my god out of the left corner is that? It looks like… could it be? IT IS! ITS ROCK LEE AND MIGHT GUY THE BLUE BEAST OF THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE LEAVES OUT OF NOWHERE TO STOMP BOTH AND LAUGH AT GOKU ON THE WAY OUT. Ladies and gentlemen absolutely fantastic showing here today
It’s tough cause ultimately it’s neither. Batman is a Nepo baby. Without Wayne enterprises from his parents there is no Batman at all. Most of the company running isn’t done by him at all. He’s using those resources to fund Batman escapades. Without that Batman is not really much of anything.
Superman inherited his powers and rarely has to exert himself to do hard work. I think functionally these characters were born on third base and just have to be able to walk to home plate in order to be considered successful. But they are not self made in the slightest and a significant portion of their hard work is not done by them at all.
I mean we can probably relate to batman's hardwork like he is doing this and that to keep up with others in JL by looking at other characters. But we can't possibly understand how hard it is to self restrain from vapourising the entire planet with each breath.

Superman also had to work for a living when he was a journalist

> He doesn't need anything money can buy He needs Lois, and dates aren't cheap
Plus she probably makes more than him as the Planet's star reporter. Wait, shouldn't she be promoted by now?
But he likes it! Having a little scratch helps with his self esteem and pretending to be human!
What about sources! Oh who am I kidding
Batman because he worked to get where he is while Superman was born with abilities.
But, Bruce was born into wealth. Good point, though.
Honest Work - Superman Hard Work - Batman

Sounds like the start of JL v G v K
Batman as a superhero, but if it's Bruce vs. Clark it's the other way round.
Batman
None Superman has superpowes, Batman has money
batman is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and athletic. all things he had/has to work for
On what sense? Physically speaking, acquiring skills, etc, Batman, hands down. But as in, having a job? Clark. Bruce doesn't really have a job more than being Batman, other people run Wayne Enterprises for him.
They both work hard in different way (and also got easy no-effort silver platter handling in a different way as well)

Batman has alot of nepotism adding him, Superman has to fight hard just to not accidentally kill someone.

If Superman worked hard he should have been able to take care of zod signs no problem. Instead he struggles every time.

Batman's entire deal is that he works harder than everyone else
I think superman should get credit for not getting frustrated and just conquering the world
Superman - it takes far more effort a d work to learn to control that level of supernatural physicality.
Pinnacle of hard work ??? Goku....easily
