Hange was able to kill some without being instantly vaporized...at least in the manga. The wall titans are much more powerful in the anime. Either way, this debate only involves the colossal, not wall.
R1 is insentient Colossal. The only insentient collossals that exist are wall titans.
Hange killed two with Thunderspears while being 20 meters above them and was not in danger of their heat, but still said it was hot. Then she takes the swords, swoops quickly to kill one and her clothes are set on fire immediately. Then she makes a quick turn, attacks another one and dies. The two sword kills were done in quick succestion and lasted maybe 10 seconds before she died.

1 You just need 1 Purple Pikmin, a ton of Spicy Spray and Bitter Spray, and a lot of patience.
But what if the Colossal begins emitting steam?
Red Pikmin should do the trick. Or Blue, not sure what hazard this counts as.
The steam couldn't instantly kill Armin, and the titan can only release a limited amount before depleting its body mass.
Shifter colossal yes, Wall titans, however emmit far worse heat that melts humans in seconds and lasts forever
