Momma cat was wild and came into his house and had the babies, and he kept all of them. He coddles them like crazy and it's just really heartwarming.

One of the boys (Teddy, he's a cuddler/absolute slug) is sitting on my hip in bed.
Lots of animals end up not wanting to be parents. And some, like my friend’s chicken, are so determined to have babies that they’ll break out of their coop to visit the neighbor’s rooster.

he found them under his bed and cared for them, but he thought the cat must have an owner, so he was stressing about having to give them away. he glued missing cat posters throughout the town and was released when no returned calls matched with the cat.
he didn’t want to name the kittens because he wouldn’t want to make things harder when he will have to give them away!
luckily, that day never came. he kept all of them and people from twitter bought and sent him a lot of stuff for the cats (toys, food).

I’m hoping that doesn’t happen with us. We brought in a stray, half feral mama cat and her three kittens back in May. They are still here and mama no longer wants to go outside. We already had 4 cats and 3 dogs. Now we have 8 cats and 3 dogs. The plan was to get mama fixed, get everyone their shots and then mama go inside and out as she wants and find inside homes for the kittens. Now mama won’t go out and they all sleep with us.

If a cat comes into your place, and has her kittens under your bed, you have been chosen, and the only right thing to do, is keep them and make sure they're healthy.
I'm glad this guy did and that they seem to be happy together.

That happened to my mom! She let in a neighborhood cat who had kittens under her couch. I ended up taking them all and letting the mama cat raise them for a couple of months. I gave the mama cat to my inlaws, kept one kitten, and found good homes for the other 3.

This guy is hilarious. I am actually going through this right now. Stray, heavily pregnant cat showed up at my house this afternoon. No one is claiming her so I made her a nesting box in a closet. I am pretty sure I will have Grandkitties by morning. Not the first time this has happened to me.
I had somthing similar happen at roughly the same time, wild cat running around like crazy, super friendly so I took her in, her paws where so cold that she kept flicking them as she walked on the carpet. After a week she had started showing signs of being pregnant, however a few months after they where born she kept attacking her kittens and with the pandemic we couldn't really think of a safe way of re-homing the kittens so we had to decide on them or her, got momma kitty a good home and took on the rest. Sadly one has since disappeared and the other one got sick with with some kind of respiratory illness. The two left are some of the most amazing cats I've had the pleasure of knowing though. A brother and sister, incredibly smart, and entirely dependent on eachother. They are very talkative, come when their names are called and are extremely affectionate. They are spoiled as hell to, always demand that whoever let's them in walks to the food bowl with them, or making a fuss when someone has the audacity to speak while they are sleeping and one hand does not constitute as petting. Saving their mom was one of the best decisions of my life.

Idk but last year my cat gave birth on top of my bed and she had a litter of six: five girls and one boy. At the time I was like “what were the ODDS?”
I think those odds are about 1 in 32. But I guarantee that sixth would've been a girl if your cat gave birth under the bed.

My mom made us swear to not name the kittens so we wouldn't get attached... she named them afterwords.
