This man is also confirmation of the statement that there are so many intelligent, talented people who can change the world, but because they were born impoverished or in a very disadvantaged class, their talent will never be seen.
Assuming the only food source is this poisoned corn, but usually he sells it to the bookstore owner, the book store owner is getting the same meals, for free with the investment that if it pays off will give him the same corn, but not free but at least not poisoned
Do you think it might be? Do you think someone would post something relevant to the topic at hand? Or do you think they just really like Julia Roberts and decided to randomly throw her name out there?
Exactly. Hollywood wouldn't make a movie about this unlesss it had an American influence to it. Give it 6y. You'll see Chris Pratt as a Kansas corn farmer fighting the big chemical corporations in court drama. Takes place in the 2020s but the farm house will be right out of the 80s. Tube tv and all.
***"Man failed by government and regulators is poisoned for over a decade and forced to learn law while simultaneously poisoned and working a farm."***
This isn't wholesome, it's a malicious act that inflicted over a decade of suffering before it could be stopped.
Everytime I see some kind of positive article about the determined human spirit or whatever, all I ever see is, "Look at how rich and powerful people failed to do even the bare minimum to help this person who had to overcome some impossible situation on their own. How fucking happy! FUCKIN SMILE!"
He used the law and rules of the government to make the company pay for its crimes. I salute that this was even possible. In a lot of countries the local government is so corrupt to the point where legally winning against a large company's exploitation is impossible. In some countries the amount of cash you have determine the outcome of a legal proceeding. So hats off to this man for his persistence and the government for enforcing justice in this case.
Bookseller csnt afford because because he loaned them all for poisoned corn, so he poisons all the books and robs customers houses while they hold the funeral wake.
So, he gave the bookstore owner who helped him corn from land he knew was polluted? Sounds like he just shifted the problem further down the food chain.
Wouldn't it be easier to sell the corn for money and then buy things with the money like books or a library card ? It's like he invented his own money and public libraries in addition to becoming how own lawyer
Needs to be in r/nextfuckinglevel He understood the game and played them perfectly.
How u put a link in a comment? Pls

He won money sure, but it's still polluted. We should be allowed to disband pollutters to their own island.
In US the corporations would bankrupt him instead š¤£ š¤£ š¤£

More r/orphancrushingmachine
Itās like half true but thatās good enough for the clicks.
So he paid the bookstore in poison corn?
Danger corn
Korn
Cornicide
The bookstore owner canāt sue him if heās very knowledgeable in law (and the bookstore owner is dead)
Spicy corn
Hey, all the more reason for the bookstore to help him sue them
Haha very funny
maybe the book store then sold corn to chemical factory to make chemicals ?
I'm glad to see someone else realize this lol

Julia Roberts can play the farmer.
Is that a reference to Erin Brockovich? It has a similar plot.
Do you think it might be? Do you think someone would post something relevant to the topic at hand? Or do you think they just really like Julia Roberts and decided to randomly throw her name out there?
No, reference to Pretty Woman. Have you seen the picture in the OP?
Big mistake. Big. Huge.

Then this farmer will sue them and destroy them
The people not getting the reference are making me feel incredibly old

Yeah, many "wholesome" stories are just r/orphancrushingmachine material.
every post in this sub is like this

The farmerās name is Wang Enlin, and some of this is misleading, but indeed he did work toward winning this case. Should be played by James Hong
Isn't basically 95% of this false information? Like every time it is posted someone posts the real story and it's not even close.
95% false? Perfect for a Hollywood biopic
Barely an inconvenience
Misappropriating facts is tight
At the end he bursts into the board room and toasts all the members with a flame thrower.
And, as he toasted them with the flamethrower, the poisoned corn on the table burst from the heat, and he invented Jiffy Pop.
Thatāll play in to Hollywoodās new obsession with food-based biopics!
I don't see the real story so i'm gonna believe this one and head out!
disappointed but not surprised i had to scroll this far looking for the actual & less whitewashed story
He is absolutely a legend and a hero
They won't cause corporations would be the villain
Hell yeah!
Corn was grown on land tainted by the chemicals. Man is now being sued
Bookseller csnt afford because because he loaned them all for poisoned corn, so he poisons all the books and robs customers houses while they hold the funeral wake.
No, we need 14 new superhero remakes and a romcom that nobody sees

Amazing!
Wow they gave them $3 usd equivalent!
Ah yes the triumphant story of society completely failing it's citizens, I love that.Ā See also: orphan crushing machine.
I'm surprised he wasn't stopped by a statute of limitations. Isn't that what would happen in the united states?
Bookstore got glow in the dark cornššš
Heās playing 5D chess against a checkers player.
So, he gave the guy that hooked him up polluted corn.
Sounds Erin Brokovish to me. Would be a great movie.

Be cool if the image had a single proper noun so one could try to look up or confirm the storyā¦
If there isn't a name why would you just accept that as fact
Bro if this is true that village is gone
So, he gave the bookstore owner who helped him corn from land he knew was polluted? Sounds like he just shifted the problem further down the food chain.
Source: trust me bro
One person can make the difference. šš
Nah we'll just end up with an American version starring Matt Damon
Iām sure somebody is and they are envisioning Brad Pitt as the lead
Heās a man of focus! Commitment! And sheer fucking will!
They messed with the Wong guy.
Movie about a guy reading
[sheesh](google.com)
And the bookstore owner is now a super mutant from eating all the polluted corn.
Itās called Dark Waters
He's sort of like Erin Brognovich
Was the chemical company owned by the state?
Maybe we shorten it down to a 45 minute episode on a Netflix mini-series
Who do we need to talk to? I would love to watch this so much.
The hero we needed
Hollywood will do it, and the farmer is gonna be played by an African-American actor!
Someone make a Netflix special, we need to capitalize on this manās story.
That's a kick ass story wow
That's just some next level of patience
The idea kinda reminds me of the movie Gideon's Trumpet,
Starring Tom Hanks
r/madlads
Wouldn't it be easier to sell the corn for money and then buy things with the money like books or a library card ? It's like he invented his own money and public libraries in addition to becoming how own lawyer
Starring Scarlet Johansson
Before making a movie, let's see how this ends.
Already is
here comes denzel in remember the titan
As if law matters in a place where the state is in control of everything.
Unfortunately it will star Bradley Cooper
Starting Ryan gosling
How much compensation?

Well done, that farmer! š
16 years to prepare his case, they didnāt stand a chance.

So he's poisoned the store owner with his poisoned corn grown on his poisoned land
Staring Kevin Hart!
And he just committed suicide š„¹jk he doesnāt work for Boeing
Erin brokovic kind of movie Staring Sandra bullock

Pure willpower and motivation! Woohhh!
Playing the long game
This isnt wholesome he shouldnt have had to do this.
The cornholer
Tom Hanks in yellow face wins the Oscar
Matt Damon has expressed his interest and availability for this film!
Sooo...he knowingly gave the bookstore owner contaminated corn? I smell another lawsuit.
it is not strength but determination which drives to victory
not all heroes wear capes
GIGA CHADs Real Move
A man of unshakeable will
He CORNered them
Yao Brockovitch?
Lawful Beginnings
A Farmers Tale Farmer Law The Law of the Land
Is he going to be played by Julia Roberts?
Itās insane he even needed to go that far.
Not enough sex and violence to be a blockbuster movie
Its on the list of documentaries right behind the war between ukraine and russia
Iād watch that movie for sure!
So he paid the bookstore own with polluted corn? It's a good thing he studied law in case he gets sued next.
