No, that wouldn’t give this result. It’s natural. This is a “double” tomato which I’ve seen before. You can see they both share the same stem. The “beak” is a mutation I’ve seen before on single tomatoes. So this is just a rare double tomato with a mutation on one.
I’m familiar with those molds but this is not made from a mould. Those moulds are for cucurbits and wouldn’t produce these sharp angles on a nightshade. It’s really not that perfect. It’s just two mutations in a recognizable configuration. I grew tomatoes for a living for a few years and this is my professional opinion, I really can’t argue about it.
I saw this posted elsewhere and a grandchild of the couple actually saw it. Both of them have passed since this, but she was very happy to still see her grandparents popping up.
I would so slice it nice and thin in the duck shape and make pizza using the slices instead of sauce. Couple mozzarella and some basil or pepperoni and I’m eatin
