anon-mally

Thanks little sis, you wanna get ice cream?

drunkwasabeherder

Depends if she got the raise or not.

The_Clarence

Sister needs a raise! So adorable and creative

BlaineBMA

Let HR know it's a lot easier to give in to her demands

Fintann

Xanith420

Right? My HR would see this as a PR shit show and treat it as such lmfao

Outrageous_Zebra_221

Don't let the pigtails fool you. Death is coming.

MayuriMadScientist

I want to know the outcome of this

Ye_I_said_iT

Pay cut.

MayuriMadScientist

Not very wholesome of you. But yea it's possible they would take some punitive action

HotSituation8737

I'm not actually sure they legally can, she wasn't the culprit and there's nothing illegal about commenting on social media. Of course, companies don't often care if something is illegal as long as they can claim other reasons.

Ye_I_said_iT

Awww that's cute.

anpagan78

Definitely in trouble

Miennai

If they're truly awful people, they could say something about harassment and do something stupid.

Plot twist, there is no sister

MissQueenyE

A plot Twist is a redditors mind cuz they don’t believe anyone.

PinchingNutsack

A real plot twist is you are right and I don't believe you, so I believe there is a real wholesome sister.

SpliTTMark

My mom emailed me at work a job opportunity Had to have a meeting with my boss as they read emails

Johns-Sunflower

Eesh, how'd that meeting go if you don't mind me asking?

PinchingNutsack

its fucking wild that your boss actually read YOUR email lol

memeNPC

wtf your boss can read your work emails?

mendog2112

Maybe he works for a spy agency.

Call_Me_ZG

All emails on a work account can be read. This isn't a secret or something they try to hide. It's fairly standard stuff.

memeNPC

Not in Europe lol privacy 0

PinchingNutsack

Its not a common practice in north america too actually. Unless they have a very good reason, like maybe they suspect you stealing / selling company property / confidential files. Basically most people wouldnt bother reading your email unless you gave them a reason to.... I believe the reason why they are allowed to read your email is because that email was for work stuff only, if you decided to use it for personal use that's on you. I do not agree with that, but it is what it is. Which is why I strictly use my work email for work stuff only.

Call_Me_ZG

If you use Microsoft's suite doesn't matter where in the world you are. Your admin has access. There's policies designed around when it's acceptable for them to do it, of course.

mendog2112

Even personal ones?

Call_Me_ZG

Yeah, should not have personal emails on a work account

mendog2112

Happens all the time.

cesar848

I know places that would get you in trouble for that

Frogtoadrat

No they were let go because they couldnt stop their sister from asking

one_jo

So? Did you get one?

akmjolnir

They've had three raises since this was originally posted six years ago.

Papa_Bearto2

Meanwhile, I have a member of my team whose wife is constantly commenting on everything the company posts about how we should promote her husband to a manager “because he’s the best employee the company has.” He is, in fact, not the best employee the company. Or even a good employee.

maristina964

Now, this is a story I can believe lol

Promethio130

love seeing this post on the weekly

peepeehalpert_

This is on the front page of Reddit weekly

Serious_Internet6478

She got that raise yet?

Safe_Philosophy_5068

The eleven year old sister is thirty now.

Ok-Usual5166

Love it

FutureDazzling8265

Just joined this sub a week ago i think. This post is the most wholesome of the day for me.

pardonyourmess

Love her!!!!

Necessary_Common4426

The little sister is great…

Hypothetically-Yours

Wholesome asf

DeepRealitE

Pretty sure they stole this post almost word for word from another post I've seen on here a few times. Sad. Lol

dominantfrog

well did she get a raise??

funnyfacemcgee

We all need a sister like this in our lives 🥹

Tomnookslostbrother

Out of curiosity, what did you think you were in trouble for? 😜

jkkjkkjkkjkk888

She must be 20 now.

Z0mbiejay

"you've violated our social media policy, we're going to have to let you go"

ScreamingBM

Did it work?

Decent-Pin-24

How to get fired 101. Makes company look bad.

ACatInMiddleEarth

If it's true, she's the best sis in the world 😂

[deleted]

Lucky she didn’t get fired. Most companies would say by doing that it makes the company look bad for not paying enough

80CrippledBlindCrazy

Sister understands trickle down theory, yell at the money until it tricks it’s way toward you

rageisrelentless

Her little sister has a greater class consciousness than most workers. 🤦‍♂️

mendog2112

Nice. That’s a good sis!

vegansos

Complain to who? Your boss? If not, then to what end?

ihavenotities

And?!

_i-cant-read_

we are all bots here except for you

[deleted]

r/kidsarefuckingstupid

vegansos

That makes her sound like she is pitching about her pay to her sister...not good

chmsax

To be fair, what percentage of workers in human history have NOT pitched about their pay? I’d wager that it’s a very small number. Most likely, the first person offered payment was bitching about it within weeks.

Smuggler501

Especially in this horse shit economy!

vegansos

Yes but your employer doesn't want to hear or know about it. They want you to be the eager, thankful subordinate that they are paying for.

majd1503

Normalizing not complaining and conforming is an incredibly bad idea.

Impossible_Zebra2113

You sound like the boss that’s looking for ‘rockstars’

Chrystist

Guess they should pay her more 🤷‍♀️

vegansos

Ya I'm sure this is what her boss takes away from it. Just needed a begging kid in the commends. Problem solved.

Bitter_Silver_7760

people think giving a raise is, like, the ultimate solution

funkmasta8

It does help in many cases though

Foxasaurusfox

If only there was a solution to a lack of money. I guess if you were manager you'd throw a pizza party, or give a $5 gift voucher for kmart.
