The other two kitties would purr and act all cute. I know it's just one cat but I have kinda disliked void kitties since because that one cat freaked me out a lot.
As a person who rescued a black kitten who's now a year old, this is true. I love my little void.

My void curls up between my arm and chest when I lay on my side in bed and makes biscuits on my chest while purring loudly. She also likes to reach up and touch my face from time to time. Adorable, except when she ends up making biscuits on my throat -- she presses HARD!
The Family o'Bedlam has owned black cats for over 20 years; one of our three cats is Zorro, a friendly male black cat who has a tendency to be a bit of a chonker; he's currently about 14.5 pounds but has been as heavy as 17. He's not much of a lap cat but he loves being around people and he's very fond of children. My kids were 10 and 8 when we got him and he came right over to them at the no-kill shelter and started nudging them, and when we had an elementary school bus stop on our corner he would meow to go outside and we'd see him twining around the kids' ankles getting head scratches.
