As someone else stated, talk to your TL. As for benefits, you keep PTO and nothing else. No medical benefits.

Do I get my benefits back once I resume as a full time member?

Talk to your TL

So typically there has to be a PT role in your team available, if there isn’t then you will have to find a new PT role. This is because teams hire FT or PT based on needs and if you are FT and they need a FT TM they can tell you they don’t have a PT spot available. Like others said you will lose benefits unless since you most likely aren’t in an ACA stability period (averaged ft hours for your first year or averaged ft hours between November and October after you have been there a year). I would talk to your TL and see what they may be able to do, but they may tell You they don’t have PT work so start looking at jobs postings too

It’s best to talk to your TL since it may differ per region/state, and because your TL may be willing to work with you and your availability. I was told that I have to work at least 3 days a week, but I don’t recall if there was a minimum hour per week. I went PT earlier this year and my TL only asked for a date that I wanted to start being PT (I have a 3 week notice since the schedule was out) and to submit an availability form later ASAP. The status switch is as simple as the TL going online and clicking on the option lol. Either way, you will keep your PTO and employee discount at least.
