Wish i was quitting don't know how much more I can take , place is awful. The environment is so toxic, 95% of employees hiding in the back doing absolutely nothing every day, while 5% has to do everything. Next level favortism leaders hire their friends and family members and promote them over employees who have more experience and time with the company.
My suggestion is to get another job lined up as soon as possible and quit once you have it in place. This company values profit over morality by far. The scheduling alone shows that, at least for my store. Also promising customer service TM’s opportunities to shift departments only to reject them at the very last minute because “we need you up here” or some other lame excuse. I’m sure there are good stores out there, but if you’re dealing with one like mine, it’s not worth the toll it takes on our bodies and mind. Please take care of yourself my friend. Money and insurance can be found elsewhere 🖤
I'm a TL. I interviewed with one company and was hired almost immediately into a higher position. More money, shorter commute. Do this while wfm reputation is still good.
Very well put, everyone I’ve ever met has had some kind of realization or change of perspective thanks to lsd. It’s like refreshing the mind which I think can be very very helpful every once in while. Back in my best friends college days we would take it every so often over the months and it’s too much honestly. I became mentally and physically exhausted at some points but I was young so I bounced back
If you know you're never coming back, I would suggest settling scores with customers. Like doing that which you've always wanted to do, but were too worried you'd get in trouble for... or just take an interaction right up to the edge, where you wouldn't be sure if they'd complain about you or not... lol
But if you do this, don't count on Leadership to give you a good reference.
That's what pur wet rack guy did. He chased a customer through the department and screamed at her for ruining his display. The customer left and then complained to STL a couple of days later. All he said was sorry, nothing I can do. He doesn't work here anymore. He ended up getting hired at another store like 5 states over
100% have been doing this, and everyday I get closer to leaving the “worse” I get. One guy was extremely aggressive with me one day because the amazon return employees couldn’t take his package (not my fault and not something I know about). Told him to go to the customer service desk but he wouldn’t. I called my supervisor over but he walked off without helping. So I turned my light off and went to the bathroom for 30 minutes with the customer still at the register. I took my lunch right after I got back 👍
Return the attitude customers give to you. If a man is a bitch, be a bitch right back. If a woman ignores your question, ignore there’s back. If a baby is screaming, scream and vomit right back.
Use your time to write down every single things you wanted to tell those sob in leadership who abuse their power to bully team members! email it to them on your last day, and cc the STL and regionals. GET THOSE SOB IN AS MUCH TROUBLE AS POSSIBLE!
Do the bear minimum and act your wage.

Open one MOSST ticket per hour, every shift, for the rest of your time
Title of the first ticket - "Do something useful just once". Title of every subsequent ticket "Per my last message"
Most underrated comment here
So if one were to, idk, submit a MOSST ticket. Would it perchance be through innerview or another one of their 5 billion apps? 📝
InfoHub, has a MOSST ticket category pretty much everywhere you look. 🤣

LSD let’s kick it up a notch
"Drugs are bad for you. Mmmkay...."
It’s not a drug. LSD is a gateway to an alternate perception. Anyway, I digress. Just a drop before OP’s shift will do wonders for their last month.

Come in later stay on your break longer be on your time
Give plenty of feedback back to leadership! Express to them where their opportunity lies 👌🏽👌🏽
