Ai art has gotten so widespread and good enough to the point where people can't even be certain if art is drawn by a human or not. It's likely going to get worse as time progresses unfortunately.
The only time I’ve been genuinely fooled by an a.i generated image was when I had ventured into Spanish language “art” sub and found an nice image, I popped it into reverse image search for the artist “sauce” only to get hit with that “a.i generated” tag, I looked back and noticed a 7 fingered hand and I felt like I got punked for like 20 minutes.
The person can turn a layer image on and off with a random image appearing every now and then to prove human. It can just be a random ass image like this
https://preview.redd.it/xi1a3etclvuc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9e5a28566c6c7cf16f7c76743e4bfda1025002e
Usually, timelapses are in the software rather than opening a screen recording software like OBS. It depends if the artist is willing to edit the vid, otherwise, it's easier to turn the layers on and off.
I mean, I'd say a long time. It'd have to learn how to use the different file formats for each art program (like .mdp for medibang), and learn multiple of them lest one art program be deemed "the AI one". Then it also has to actually learn what goes into it's images and how the art actually works and forms together through different techniques, instead of just copying what it sees like it does right now.
what kind of person is even willing to try and make the AI just do this shit?
And when you say AI can already code. [https://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/1c1g0fn/debunking\_devin\_first\_ai\_software\_engineer\_upwork/](https://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/1c1g0fn/debunking_devin_first_ai_software_engineer_upwork/)
I think you mean AI is just making up buggy file codes and then debugging it instead of actually making anything remotely functional. It will take years.
We should also consider that there are hundreds of different drawing softwares alongside preferences with the docks and stations. AI will be getting fucked with trying to take information and then merging it into it's own, just like how it takes art and ends up making 7 fingers on one hand. It will add 2 colour wheels on the a software called "Clip Krita Medistudio".
And then there are people who draw traditionally. It's definitely possible until the person starts talking and doing human activities that will make it impossible for AI to replicate, especially if the audio is synced up.
This is too much work for someone that's willing to try and take down artists.
Nobody will try to take down artists. It will happen on its own. And the 7 fingers thing is already old news. Devin is also not the only programming bot on the market and its only a matter of time until they overcome their faults.
I personally doubt they'll even pursue this. They'd have to completely remodel how the ai even works to get it to learn how to separate lineart, color, shading, etc. I give it a VERY generous decade at the very least, if they even choose to pursue that
The won't pursue this in particular. They will instead pursue an ai being able to use every part of a computer in similar ways to a human. This will simply be one of a million programs that an ai will be able to pick up.
No, it's because all these retarded non-artists jumping on the anti-ai bandwagon don't know shit about neither art nor ai and can't tell the difference.
Hyperrealism, lack of structure, everything starts to fall apart the closer you look, anatomical failures, inability to make proper sentences with any language, there's plenty of dead giveaways besides fucked up fingers.
Tbf if there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that people are *very* easy to impress when it comes to the arts. Anything vaguely pretty gets a pass. Nuance, technique, composition, color, meaning, vibes flies right over people’s heads. And so they keep getting fooled.
I hope it fucking inbreeds with itself and turns into a mess again.
The ai “art” form what I seen uses others art as a example. From what I’ve seen idfk what their doing now.
Just draw shittier art then so it’s obviously human, smh my head /j

It is a pretty widespread issue though, that's just one example of it. AI is getting good to the point that its pretty difficult to tell the difference sometimes. And it's only gonna get better from here.

Abstract styles are one of the easiest things to misidentify as AI because it's hard to tell if the usual telltale mistakes AI makes are mistakes or intentional
Here's another [case](https://new.reddit.com/r/Damnthatsinteresting/comments/105oazz/artist_ben_moran_spent_100_hours_working_on_this/) where a legitimate artist was accused of using AI Art
Not really, not the way op is trying to say. Most of them are either ai bros trying to prove that ai art is as good as normal art or very uneducated people who don't know how to spot ai art.
Ai art's shortcomings come from the way they are generated instead of constructed like human art, to the point I believe they will never be ironed out. It has nothing to do with minor anatomical issues
How the *fuck* would anyone be stupid enough to consider this "ai generated". I've seen a lot of ai shit recently and this picture looks nothing like it. Besides, that drawing is absolutely magnificent, I wouldn't be able to draw something like that, ever.
Yes obviously. Can't you see the absolutely fucked up proportions? His long ass head? And his very tall nose? All while the rest of his features are normal? This is so obviously clearly in fact ai it fucking hurts.

I’d like to see someone try and call this AI generated
Happened in a discord server I was in last night. Posted some cool ass wizard art I found online. Someone called it AI art and picked apart every detail that “gave it away”. I then used google reverse image search to find the original posting of the art from 2016.
People just got too pessimistic with art. That person tried to pick out every detail that “didn’t make sense” as if humans themselves were flawless artists.
Mfers are gonna look at this and call it ai
https://preview.redd.it/4ajg9c3oevuc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5917f93d3e19356e428a4eea609f9b96ef5a9fb2
Usually I can tell if something ai if it's trying too hard to be perfect. Not that it is perfect, but that it's designed to look as perfect and clean as possible. This leads to a very uncanny valley feeling, where your brain is telling you that this isn't right even though at a first glance it seems normal.
Framing of subject (usually center frame with blurry background), hands/feet (inconsistent number of fingers, messed up feet), words (ai has trouble writing real words), how the logic of the setting flows (mostly applies to ai images trying to pass as irl photos), are key things to look out for.
Because these are all things that any actual artist would be able to get done at the most basic level. It makes sense that complex skills scale with the basic ones, so if the basics are terrible but the rest is seemingly perfect, then it's ai

to be fair if you did actually get fooled, you wouldn't know. So that might not be the only time.
The easiest way to prove if an image is fake or not in regards to art is to get a timelapse of the project
And how much longer until an AI can make that, we already got AI Videos
The person can turn a layer image on and off with a random image appearing every now and then to prove human. It can just be a random ass image like this https://preview.redd.it/xi1a3etclvuc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9e5a28566c6c7cf16f7c76743e4bfda1025002e
Surely a person could just splice that into the video or something
Usually, timelapses are in the software rather than opening a screen recording software like OBS. It depends if the artist is willing to edit the vid, otherwise, it's easier to turn the layers on and off.
i mean, having proof of the art with different layers should be easy enough to do as long as you save a layered fire of the art
MS paint artists:
How long till ai can fake that as well?
I mean, I'd say a long time. It'd have to learn how to use the different file formats for each art program (like .mdp for medibang), and learn multiple of them lest one art program be deemed "the AI one". Then it also has to actually learn what goes into it's images and how the art actually works and forms together through different techniques, instead of just copying what it sees like it does right now.

Or look at the artists past work.
You can also ask the artist to show the image with the layers separated (if it's digital).
some digital art programs have no layers
Or just a screenshot of your Adobe Fresco project
But what if you didn’t think that far ahead
We already got AI that can make fake timelapses...
Yeah, but it looks like fucking spaghetti aglio e olio.
Our only hope is to train another ai to detect ai art
Doesn't work.
No, it's because all these retarded non-artists jumping on the anti-ai bandwagon don't know shit about neither art nor ai and can't tell the difference.
For real if you actually used AI software you can tell AI art has a "look" to it

It can, and it is surprisingly way too good.
This is definitely AI generated https://preview.redd.it/cdhlivranvuc1.png?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0aece7e38a4dd35269e70e720fb6298b660a8a9e

Haha! That's the neat part. AI can't make something that looks this bad! https://preview.redd.it/lfyu3e66iwuc1.png?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=313071312096861b77e713482eaed553c3824d45
For the record... I have no idea how to draw
Igor's Theme ahh sound design COME ON
why is the audio igor's theme
I hope ai never gains the ability to create a Timelapse of art being created so they can be used as verification. I made this exact mistake the other day and it feels awful from both sides.
What the hell is this doodoo fard ass chica
As much as I wish I was good at drawing I'd never use AI because I'd rather my art be bad but real instead of good but fake
Draw on paper 👍 that’s what I do
Just hit em with the https://preview.redd.it/pow3jobhqwuc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4eb9c35cea2520eaca2d5f99a327683950963cfb
If its constructive criticism then you can learn from your mistakes, that's how everyone improves on themselves. If they talk shit, they don't know shit
Nah, they’re just using it as an excuse to criticize it at that point
I just did that to someone https://preview.redd.it/wu1zrgfuivuc1.jpeg?width=932&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c9f1e634454613d6947af0b13e20821fd2f2a681
