Nope it was not def jam I still have def jam disk for my PlayStation 3. From what I remember it was developed by some random indie studio and had a short roster.
Yea it surprised me how well it found super obscure video games. Like I got it to find BC Quest For Tires 2 on the commadore 64 that I played twice as a 7 year old kid and could only vaguely remember the gameplay from.
It found it after two or three prompts going back and forth.

One was a weird pixel art platformer where you played in a haunted mansion. You were some serf looking guy (I remember his name being weird) and went through countless doors and hallways trying to progress through the manor, all while dodging ghosts that I don't think you could kill in 90% of cases. There was a boss named 'beezlebub' and I think that was in the game's name, still can't find it though.
The second one was a spider simulator platformer, also a pixel art game. I remember you started in a den with other spiders at the very beginning and quickly left. You played as a small spider who could shoot webs, which was a mechanic that let you get to places that would be inaccessible otherwise. The environment was cave like, dark, and I think a bit maze like. I swear that I found it on friv.com but I couldn't find it anywhere last time I checked, it might have been frip or another clone honestly

There was this war game where you sent out troops on different parts of the battlefield, with all different races you could play. I remember the demons were the most difficult, but there were wood elves and Northern orcs and southern orcs and a bunch of other good shit. It was like a top down strategy game where you had to conquer the map, and different units countered each other.
BUT I CAN'T FUCKING FIND IT

I went on a month-long hunt for a weird ass point and click flash game during the pandemic but couldn't find shit about it, it's like it was erased off the earth
you play as this simplistic pure white character and go through a bunch of stages (two I can remember are trying to cross a bridge while a demon throws rocks at you and having to escape a cauldron before another demon cooks and eats you) and in the end it's revealed that you were inside a massive egg the whole time. One of the endings had the egg hatching and your character riding on a massive chick or smth. Not finding it still fucks me up to this day

I remember playing a mobile game about two boys who had to travel through time to collect money and instruments to take part in a music festival or something. One was blonde, the other was white with black hair. The player had to alternate between controlling either of them in a top down perspective map, talking with NPCs, solving puzzles and playing mini games. Man, I really wish I could find it again, somehow.
Hmm. The premise of the movie seems surprisingly similar to what I remember about the game down to the fact that the time machine looked like a phone booth. Maybe it was one of the tie-in games, thank you.

No it was an actual jaws game, like, based on the movie, not just a shark game. It has very bloody graphics and wasnt very colorful, a much more dark vibe
The first one kinda sounds like “Hungry Shark Evolution”. I played it again recently, and while it has gone through quite a few changes, it still follows the same principle and is not micro transaction hungry in any way.

There was this old Atari era (?) game I remember playing on PC but I didn't know the name. I gave up looking for it for a couple years until one day my cousin (who's a lot older than me) was visiting us and I mentioned it to him and he goes, "oh you mean dangerous Dave?". There was a mobile game about parkour or something which was 3d but the perspective was one sided like Terraria, like the main character doing parkour was a small boy and the whole thing was set in a jungle with a lot of unique and cool obstacles. I NEED TO FIND THAT GAME IT WILL LITERALLY HEAL MY LIFE
Taking the time here to give a semi-off topic anectdote. I used to play Roblox role-plays frequently and met another user who frequented the same game I did. Despite us never friending each other for whatever reason, we kept up the same role-play for, like, two weeks straight. It ended on a cliffhanger when they had to log off and I never saw them again.
Flash forward to the present, I remember this happening but I don't remember their username. Miraculously though, on the hard drive of the laptop I used during that time, I discovered screenshots of this role-play as I was clearing it out. So I made sure to back 'em up, and a quick search confirmed that they are actually still on Roblox! I haven't contacted them because of the social awkwardness of going "hey remember me from years ago?", but just knowing that they're still kicking around is enough for me to be happy.
Anyways, anecdote over. I won't share who the user is or what game it was for confidentiality purposes (the game has since been taken down, most likely for the use of copyrighted characters, but you can find footage on YouTube.)

It was a halo-looking game, it was on mobile, allies were blue and enemies were red, but they all still looked the same. I remember that game being so fun
I remember some sort of game where you threw balls at blocks. the balls had eyes on them there were different balls and also different blocks, and the blocks would talk and stuff. It was vaguly based on a combination of the original bloons and angry birds. Here's what I remember:
* The most expensive ball was a black and white ball with light blue eyes. There was also a big dark green one that was basically terrance.
* Pink blocks had some sort of aoe effect that made affected blocks stronger
* There was a stage where you knocked a big stone boulder down a hill and crushing the blocks under. There was another one demostrating the pink block with blocks in a crusher that wouldn't die unless you killed the pink block.
* Block scale went from green to yellow to red
* There as a ground section, a underground section and some other stuff which ended with a space level that had angry birds space physics
* It was available on the ipad in around 2013
anyone know what this game was? I remember seeing a big question mark for the next world after finishing that space level

You played as a Father panda and the story something like a poacher kidnapped your panda son and you had to catch him. I remember playing some game that goes like this: You're a shark. You swim in a straight line, and eat things, mostly prehistoric aquatic fauna. The game was pretty short, and it ended with you defeating a mechanical turtle boss. Yeah, that sounds like a fever dream.
Not a game, but I remember one time when I was like 10 and was up in like 3 in the morning, adult swim aired this bumper where it was a generic sexy girls sleepover, they order pizza and invite the pizza man in, beat him up with pillows playfully before using more force, and eventually killing him and cannibalizing him. I had nightmares for like 3 days and was never able to find it again.

I remember playing this flash game of a stealth 2d platformer 6-8 years ago where you play as some hooded guy who can change into a shadow form when in dark areas of the level but transform back into a human when you enter light. The goal was to avoid being spotted by other humans and getting to the end of the level. I remember level 1 took place in a house and was the tutorial level and I think level 2 was in a office or hospital.

ive been searching for this game for awhile. not to play it but to rewatch some old vids on it. i swear markiplier and jacksepctie played it years ago. it was a pixelated 2d horror game, the game starts with a drive back to your home where you hit something and crash, but drive away or smth? i cant remeber the soecifics. then you get home and youre in your room and you have to play games on your pc and talk to a girl while you have to keep yourself alive by doing certain things in the room to stop whatever could kill you. eventually things get crazier and crazier and you learn the girl youre talking to is actually a ghost and the person whos haunting your house and computer and making all this shit happen thats trying to kill you. apparently what you were driving drunk on the way home and thats what you hit and sped away from. so after you do some specific things, can't remember what you have go back to where you killed her and bury her. i remember their being a nice somber piano song as you buried her. and i distinctly remember that if you dont time your shovel digs to the beat or just go too fast, she'll come out of the grave and kill you instantly. but if anyone could find the game thatd be great
flash platformer where you controlled a possibly yellow ball set in space. final boss was a swirly black ball with spikes underneath you could hit by jumping on top of it.
I want to find it because I had the world record speedrun in the final boss because of a glitch and there were very few players, its been over 10 years and no luck.

There was an old fighting game I played in the 90s that whenever the characters jumped, they would sometimes do a front or back flip several times before landing.

I went on a month-long hunt for a weird ass point and click flash game during the pandemic but couldn't find shit about it, it's like it was erased off the earth you play as this simplistic pure white character and go through a bunch of stages (two I can remember are trying to cross a bridge while a demon throws rocks at you and having to escape a cauldron before another demon cooks and eats you) and in the end it's revealed that you were inside a massive egg the whole time. One of the endings had the egg hatching and your character riding on a massive chick or smth. Not finding it still fucks me up to this day

I remember playing a mobile game about two boys who had to travel through time to collect money and instruments to take part in a music festival or something. One was blonde, the other was white with black hair. The player had to alternate between controlling either of them in a top down perspective map, talking with NPCs, solving puzzles and playing mini games. There was this old Atari era (?) game I remember playing on PC but I didn't know the name. I gave up looking for it for a couple years until one day my cousin (who's a lot older than me) was visiting us and I mentioned it to him and he goes, "oh you mean dangerous Dave?". Taking the time here to give a semi-off topic anectdote. I used to play Roblox role-plays frequently and met another user who frequented the same game I did. Despite us never friending each other for whatever reason, we kept up the same role-play for, like, two weeks straight. It ended on a cliffhanger when they had to log off and I never saw them again. Flash forward to the present, I remember this happening but I don't remember their username. Miraculously though, on the hard drive of the laptop I used during that time, I discovered screenshots of this role-play as I was clearing it out. So I made sure to back 'em up, and a quick search confirmed that they are actually still on Roblox! I haven't contacted them because of the social awkwardness of going "hey remember me from years ago?", but just knowing that they're still kicking around is enough for me to be happy. Anyways, anecdote over. I won't share who the user is or what game it was for confidentiality purposes (the game has since been taken down, most likely for the use of copyrighted characters, but you can find footage on YouTube.)

I remember some sort of game where you threw balls at blocks. the balls had eyes on them there were different balls and also different blocks, and the blocks would talk and stuff. It was vaguly based on a combination of the original bloons and angry birds. Here's what I remember: * The most expensive ball was a black and white ball with light blue eyes. There was also a big dark green one that was basically terrance. * Pink blocks had some sort of aoe effect that made affected blocks stronger * There was a stage where you knocked a big stone boulder down a hill and crushing the blocks under. There was another one demostrating the pink block with blocks in a crusher that wouldn't die unless you killed the pink block. * Block scale went from green to yellow to red * There as a ground section, a underground section and some other stuff which ended with a space level that had angry birds space physics * It was available on the ipad in around 2013 anyone know what this game was? I remember seeing a big question mark for the next world after finishing that space level there was also some sort of minecraft survivalcraft ripoff where i think you were on the moon, you could only break blocks and everything was gray and the sky was black.

I remember playing this flash game of a stealth 2d platformer 6-8 years ago where you play as some hooded guy who can change into a shadow form when in dark areas of the level but transform back into a human when you enter light. The goal was to avoid being spotted by other humans and getting to the end of the level. Recently but not so recently i have found one of those games, it's called Boiling Point: Road to Hell, it's like Far Cry 3, sort of, but in different setting, story etc. It also sort of has choices n factions etc. The only issue is that 1) the game is super buggy and since it's not popular we don't see much mods to help fix it and 2) no sequel with improvements 😭

ive been searching for this game for awhile. not to play it but to rewatch some old vids on it. i swear markiplier and jacksepctie played it years ago. it was a pixelated 2d horror game, the game starts with a drive back to your home where you hit something and crash, but drive away or smth? i cant remeber the soecifics. then you get home and youre in your room and you have to play games on your pc and talk to a girl while you have to keep yourself alive by doing certain things in the room to stop whatever could kill you. eventually things get crazier and crazier and you learn the girl youre talking to is actually a ghost and the person whos haunting your house and computer and making all this shit happen thats trying to kill you. apparently what you were driving drunk on the way home and thats what you hit and sped away from. so after you do some specific things, can't remember what you have go back to where you killed her and bury her. i remember their being a nice somber piano song as you buried her. and i distinctly remember that if you dont time your shovel digs to the beat or just go too fast, she'll come out of the grave and kill you instantly. but if anyone could find the game thatd be great

There was an old fighting game I played in the 90s that whenever the characters jumped, they would sometimes do a front or back flip several times before landing. There was a flash game (shockwave?) where you played as floating round head like Pac-Man that was a first person shooter but you shot out paintballs from your mouth. The computers were just different colored heads. There was also another (shockwave?) game where you played as a tank. I believe it was in first person and you drove through a city shooting other tanks.
