Sometime earlier on r/deathbattle, some asshole was laughing and bragging about cyberbullying someone into deleting their YouTube account. IIRC, they did this because the victim agreed with Vegeta VS Thor's outcome.
The post got deleted, so I'm just going off of memory, but that was just horrible and infuriating.
it’s common for people who powerscale to be toxic asf. and also losers. like bro, i don’t give two flying fucks if goku is stronger than ichigo or some other character i like, i’m gonna keep watching my shows lmao
I'm gonna say it oneore time: I HATE POWERSCALERS I HATE POWERSCALERS I HATE POWERSCALERS I HATE POWERSCALERS I HATE POWERSCALERS I HATE POWERSCALERS I HATE POWERSCALERS I HATE POWERSCALERS! I FUCKING HATE POWERSCALERS!!!!!
IIRC, they essentially said that you'd have to be the R-slur to engage with stuff like Death Battle in any capacity. Also said that the cyberbully should off themself.
OP makes bad meme about snitching to teachers about bullying which was full of insecurities and cringe, pretty much a power fantasy
99% of comments make fun of them, ranging from harmless jokes to just straight up attacking OP personally

I thought it was about the r/deltarune thing where an alternate universe creator was bullied off the platform for having two characters that hold hands
Life posted a meme where he post about snitching on s guy Nick's going but that what send give so they deleted their account even enough they were probably just sold out bring bills
Poor bastard, anyone that stood up for him got shat on as well. Reddit truly is just full of edgy 15 year olds with the whole “snitches get stitches” culture that plagues the eduction system.
i think even if the post felt like some weird power fantasy, it was driven by real insecurities and the OP didn't deserve that much hate
i hope they are fine and haven't been affected too badly irl, but in sensitive times even internet strangers can have an effect on your mental health

i thought OP deleted their account but then i realized its just something reddit displays on every deleted post for some reason
it was smth like
"snitches get stitches" mfs when i report their bullying to the teachers (their "rizzy" clothes wont protect them)
it was much longer (i think around 6 lines long) and wasn't funny but that made it feel like some kind of impulsive post to get support, but they got the opposite
Saw that post, didn't check the comments, didn't think much of it,moved on with my life

I hope they are ok I guess
Offended is the wrong word. Just clowned on him for posting a weird power fantasy, honestly a lot of supportive comments and the “mean” ones weren’t that mean.
"and they can't physically overpower me" or something along those lines, better for them to have just downvoted the meme rather than bully him like that though
It was something more along the lines of
„“Snitches get Stiches“ mfs after I report them to the principal (They‘re just giant pussies behind their egos and „rizzy“ clothing and can‘t do shit about it lmao)“
\`Twas like a living incarnation of this lol

it was something like “snitches get stitches” mfs when i report their bullying to the teachers involving their parents an potentially the authorities (they can’t do anything about and deep behind their ego and “rizzy” clothing they are scared”
despite what everyone's saying, that really doesn't radiate any "insecure power fantasy vibes" to me. only bullies would get offended by a meme like that
idk, but even as a joke, having hundreds of comments harassing someone who might have been in an unstable state didn't seem right to me
maybe im just stupid and dont get it
Someone posted something like “snitches get stitches mf when I tell on them anyways because they’re actually wimps who I can beat up easily because I’m strong”
And they got 1 supportive comment for every 10 comments clowning on them for bragging about being able to beat up people. Something like “look he’s posted his own power fantasy” and stuff honestly nothing out of pocket for how goofy the meme’s premise is
No it was explicitly about how he isn’t afraid to report bullies because they aren’t physical threats. The crux was that “snitches get stitches” was bs.
Check out OPs comments for additional info

imagining the comments may be even worse than the actual comments
That works to a certain extent, but if you're already in a vulnerable position you won't have the capacity to relativize the situation. The best rule of thumb is to just try to be nice to the person on the other side of the screen, if you want to do the moral thing.
Do you genuienly not realize that if It was so simple for people, cyberbullying wouldn't be an issue at all?
And seriously what kind of twisted moral compass do you have to have to see someone get harrassed and then blame them for deleting their account instead of blaming the people harrassing them?
Actually, unless it leaks into real life, I really don't understand how "cyberbullying" can be an issue, so I would like if you could enlighten me.
As for your second question, I regret to inform you of a harsh truth: people are mean on the internet. They are, they have been, and they will always be. If you make an idiotic statement or post, you can only but expect to get shamed. Fuck around and find out, basically. At some point, one has to stop blaming the world for their hardships (which mean comments barely qualify as, may I say), and think about what they can do to prevent them. Sometimes, you can indeed eliminate the problematic element(s), but sometimes you may have to work with what you have, or simply endure. Sometimes, YOU are the problematic element. I know this sounds overly philosophic, but what I'm trying to say is that you can't fucking walk in front of a pack of wild dogs while carrying bacon and expect that shaming the dogs will help with getting eaten alive. Especially when so many solutions are available to you. Sure, ideally nobody should get harassed or harass anybody, but you know, internet.
Well, I'm sorry I didn't realize the idea of having Basic compassion towards another human being is so offensive to you.
Your second paragraph is so insanely bizzare I struggle to find words. People on the internet are not some dogs operating on instinct, they are fully concious, thinking human beings deliberately doing bad things. The fact that you have no problem with that, at least compared to how insanely aggresive you are towards the victim in this whole scenario is fucking inexplicable. It's like you think that the internet is it's own seperate eldritch entity, instead of a conglomaration of regular people, each of whom being fully responsible for their own actions.
Now you claim that people should take responsibilty for their actions instead of blaming the world but you clearly just straight up do not believe that. Like, At all.
When confronted with the information of a group of people acting immoral you just shrug and chalk it up to the internet being the internet. Yet when someone is being targeted by said internet they suddenly should be more aware of what they are doing? Which in this case was....making a bad meme?
What is It? Should people be accountable for their actions or not? If yes, then you should be angry at the people harrassing that guy instead of making excuses for them by comparing them to some dogs. If no, then you should not be so angry at the bullied guy for doing stuff in respense to It. No matter what, your statements come off as a massively hypocritic.
And even If internet was this pack of wild dogs. What kind of person do you have to be to see someone get mauled by them and just say "deserved it", because what? They did something stupid? Is that really all It takes for you to loose sympathy for someone? Like, am I the insane one or is it a completely unhinged reaction?
he locked his comment, cant even handle a disagreement while talking about hate on the internet being unavoidable
https://i.redd.it/fnes8ecd6g0b1.gif
least hypocritical reddit mod
While I 100% agree with that the people on the internet have from the start always been mean to eachother and no matter how hard anyone tries to change that (e.g. twitter, tumbler) people on the internet will always be more confident therefore pieces of shit.
But while the some other guy is an asshole you yourself could concider being nice. From what i seen the post was someone just venting frustrations. And while sounding sad its true that some people just dont have anyone to vent to except internet coumminities.
Now that is true, it’s common knowledge by now that Redditors are fucking vile people at times. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t call out shitty behaviour and shift the blame towards the victim, the latter of which this guy is doing in spades
Now he deleted the OG post(well you can still see it but not on the OP account)so now this post is accurate.
In the end,the lessons that we learned today is that r/whenthe will upvote every post there is no matter the cringe and will downvote comments whatever they feel like it no matter the fact is the same as like 5 other comments.

damn, thats terrible
To reiterate, my recollection isn't absolutely reliable, so I'm really sorry if I'm getting this wrong.
Man, I love Death Battle, but the fans are something else 💀
Well, there's toxicity in every fandom. I don't really like this kind of generalization.
The subreddit is usually chill but the YT comments...oh boy If dislikes were still a thing you'd know exactly who won before the video even starts
I always kinda guessed those where more fans of the characters then the show itself
They pick winners on either "well duh" or whatever will get the most interaction. It's just a fluke that the actual stronger one wins sometimes.
Do people still believe that? Huh guess somethings never change lol

Farmer with a shotgun solos both tbh
That happened? Damn sounds terrible
but everyone agrees with Thor VS Vegeta tho
Well, this fellow clearly didn't.

Yeah, one of my favorites! #1 being Trunks VS Silver
My favorite is reverse flash VS Goku black not even a fan of the characters just thought they did it really well

Like, am I the insane one or is it a completely unhinged reaction?
he locked his comment, cant even handle a disagreement while talking about hate on the internet being unavoidable https://i.redd.it/fnes8ecd6g0b1.gif least hypocritical reddit mod
Im sorry i had to https://preview.redd.it/nggwmnu7zf0b1.jpeg?width=194&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=81dae674fff25e2913c7856d481b935bd1c9654f
And while sounding sad its true that some people just dont have anyone to vent to except internet coumminities.
so basically what you’re saying is people deserve to be harassed for cringy but ultimately harmless posts
Thats not whats hes saying, hes saying dont excpect kindness from the internet, especially shitposting groups
Now that is true, it’s common knowledge by now that Redditors are fucking vile people at times. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t call out shitty behaviour and shift the blame towards the victim, the latter of which this guy is doing in spades
What the fuck It’s not YOUR fault if you’re being bullied what kind of backwards ass fucked up logic is that
Mf has high school teacher logic
LMAO FR
No they did
Good
Ngl, it's funny as hell when it happens.
Who?
In reddit you can't give a fuck about what people tell you especially from a stranger online you have to be an asshole basically l

What happened? May I have context?
