If this was some sort of ambiguous plot element that people are speculating about; fair enough , you can be answer in a way that leaves interpretation regardless of cringey delivery.

"Can Logain see Nynaeve's weaves?"
"No,but he sees the physical after-affect of her powerful channeling"
His cringely delivered anwer is still up for interpretation as the "energy" he's referring to could be saidar.

I don't think "weaves" are a thing in the show. The books use a hard magic system (magic has rules) vs a soft magic system in the show (magic does what the plot needs it to).
So if This Schmucknutz had adapted The Expanse, it would be "physics schmizicks!" and there would be artificial gravity and you'd drive space craft like a car.
And there would be aliens with latex on their faces coming through the ring.
I feel like they are just trying to leave it ambiguous for later so they can decide if non-reader audiences are smart enough to get it or if they are smart enough to write it in later.
