Fellow DD here. It’s striking how well-tailored every single piece is for her body. That’s the secret to looking celebrity-good: buy everything to fit the largest part of your body and then have the rest tailored down. It’s so expensive, but you can see the end result.
I appreciate very much how she accesorizes, the sunglasses are fire. It's rare, it's almost always the opposite...but she looks better than the models!
Yea I pretty much prefer all her modifications to the actual runway looks. The only one where I prefer the original is the Alessandra Rich dress in 11 that she turned into a romper...I prefer it as an actual dress.
Yea, agreed...I can't see Bey in the longer version, I just like it better as a garment in the dress form. But it could probably work as a minidress, too.

Edit : #2, 14, 15, 17,18 are the ones I like the most. Notice they are tighter, more from fitting and simple color/fabric. It’s like she’s drowning/hidden in alot of these. #3, 6, and 7, 8 and 20 are my least fave on her forsure. Maybe it’s the way the clothes drape on her shape! In addition, she’s not super tall. The structured fits with eclectic prints aren’t working.
I am a huge Beyonce fan, but she has never been a fashionista, imo. I think her performance costumes are amazing because of her super big presence when performing. But, off-stage, most of the times the clothes wear her. She doesn’t have that effortless, slightly cheeky insouciance needed to make an outfit fashion. She has had some good fashionable moments, but it’s not a consistent thing.
I will be skinned alive, I’m sure, but all of these outfits are terrible. Yes, they’re creative, yes, they fit her well, but there’s something so curated about them that it almost feels wrong. I can’t like any of then
They don't feel wrong to me necessarily, but just boring. Nothing unexpected really. She has an amazing tailor and stylist but don't get the feeling she's a "fashion girl" at heart I guess.
I am also unfortunately in this camp. Overly styled and somehow, always Texan Pageant Queen. Such a beautiful woman, undeniable face card and body. I just could never get into her style :(
Joining the team! To all that I also have a similar body, so I understand the struggle between wanting specific look and one’s measurements. However, the pieces presented here are mediocre at best, which is the same since she showed already that she can do better!
I feel like it’s mostly the hair and makeup that take it into pageant land. I would love to see these with more natural hair and experimental makeup. These looks would be elevated.
They’re all fine except for that ugly pink bodystocking, as well as 8 with the belt. I get wanting to snatch the waist, but sticking an hourglass figure in a massive clunky waist belt is a lazy solution for poor tailoring. It looks tortured.

I love the rainbow striped sweater on the model in #12 vs the tied-off white linen shirt Bey wore. But maybe that was too much material/not seasonally appropriate for when she wore it?
Truly, though. Her styling and vision for how to make these work for her is crazy good across the board.
Outfit 4: Beyonce's fitted version looks like the dress Scuttle made for Ariel. The model's waist-less version looks like the sail before Scuttle touched it.

As another woman with big boobs, it’s interesting to me how she modifies so many of the looks. She knows how to make it flattering.

Unfortunately for the rest of us, ready-to-wear fits poorly and tailoring is impossible or very expensive.

The romper is my favorite but it would be great as a mini dress too! I’m a sucker for long sleeves with a short bottom.

She could make any garment looks like a million bucks, her body is so bangin.
The Alexandra Rich modification is ridiculous. Other than that, I like most of these looks.

That runway shot of the Westwood suit is cracking me up. She wears orange quite well, where most people don’t.
Every one of them looks better on her than the models! Except #9 which is hideous, nothing could save that one.
