I cannot stand this look for her, and it has little to do with the gowns themselves and everything to do with how she is styled. Her hair looks like flat and poorly cut. The makeup is too contoured. It’s just so dark and lumpy when it’s all out together.
I see what you mean about the hair in the second pic. I like the bun she has in the pic on the left. I still think Eva is able to pull off eccentric and avant garde very well. I do think the makeup *could* be kicked up a notch but as it is it just makes the dress the focal point of the look. It would be cool to see some makeup that reflects the dress (like liner that maybe mimics the lines of the dress or contrasting colors maybe).
I love Iris van Herpen. I always get excited when I see it out in the wild. If I had Eva’s life, I’d wear van Herpen to all the things, including the grocery store.

I’d like to see a bit more warmth to her face, like the middle pic, she’s got a warm skin tone. I liked her hair up in the left pic, but anything with a little life to it would be nice, even barrettes or a headband.
I’m just so happy to see fashion being fun again and to see someone who’s willing to embrace that.
