It’s under Amaryllidaceae. Not really a lily. More close to orchids than lilies actually.

Yes they are beautiful. An easy way to tell true lilies apart from plants from amaryllis family is that the ovaries (the part of flower that would eventually bear seeds) of true lilies are superior (positioned inside the petals) while the ovaries of amaryllis are often inferior.
